Wow, I have never seen or ever even knew that glass toilet floats even existed. Ive seen metal ones made of brass or copper. I’d say that was a real find. I think I spied an old television picture tube in that trash pile. If it was don’t ever break them because they have a very strong vacuum inside of them if not damaged and can send glass fragments violently flying. Nice video Emily !
Near Toledo where I grew up there is a huge limestone quarry right up the road. My brother and I explored it on a Sunday afternoon when I was 18 or 19. I remember half of it was abandoned. Buildings + workers locker rooms too. Anyway we found a very old large TV (probably late 50's?) sitting there that someone probably dumped off to get rid of. My brother threw a big rock at it. It exploded like a BOMB. Incredibly loud echoing off the quarry walls!! I remember hitting the ground, trying to shield my face and was taking bits of glass out of my hair for a couple of days. Then there were sirens, so we took off!! I'm sure it was heard at LEAST a mile away LOL! We talked about that for years afterwards. Lesson learned!
@@greenbayrockhuntress My dad used to repair TVs when I was a kid and warned me about it early on. Yep, I did some crazy dangerous stuff when I was a kid but I stayed away from the picture tubes.
Good luck tomorrow!! As of yesterday, I believe you'll do great about 1/2 mile south of the parking lot! Similar to last time. You'll see the rock piles.. 😁
Oh for cool
Thanks for sharing 🎉😊
Great fines Thank you for the hard WORK you put in these videos for me to enjoy
Cool. Love the fossils.

Have you ever soldered pieces of the glass together with copper tape ?
I honestly didn't know that was even a possibility! Now I HAVE to look into that!
