Awesome treasures there my friend. There must have been a lot of kids running around with lead in their system back in the day. Really liked the root beer syrup jug and I wonder if the Cheer Up soda might have been a precursor to the 7-UP soda.

The water was incredibly clear compared to some of the creeks and rivers that you’ve hunted in. The first marble in the stills must have been an agatized marble. Ha Ha !!! We went rock hunting Thursday, it was the best day of the year.

I just found you and I’m a subscriber! I’m from the Fox valley not far from Green Bay! I have been wanting to go to Lake Michigan to collect driftwood and some stones. Got the itch to do it now!

Nice collection of great looking stones. Possibly a couple of agates, too. I did notice a couple of dolomites on the beach, as well. Have you ever picked up a few while on your regular hunts? They really look amazing under UV light.

Rock tumbler?

Was that blue elongated plastic tray one of those Swiffer Pad containers ? The color didn’t look quite right but that’s what I keep/ display my polished rocks in. They come with a nice clear lid ! I can see your likeness in your Dad’s face. Looks like you were involved in a lot of sporting activities in your younger days. Looking forward to that out of state adventure. Be Safe !!!

Awesome finds ! May I ask what model of detector that you use. My last crazy find was a 5/8”diameter bolt 2 feet long. It was pounded vertically in the ground. The head was about 6 inches below the surface. I suspect that it had been used as a tent stake.

Great finds with the detector. It it always fun when you find silver! I have yet to cross that off of my bucket list.

that one looked like smokey quartz i live on that river by the park and we have a TON of quartz and jasper
