It’s interesting over on our side of the lake we typically find the beach glass within 3 feet of the waters edge. I have yet to find a Yooperlite in the Manistee area where we usually hunt. Teddy’s find at 2:15 appears to be a very old 4 cylinder gasoline engine. As my wife is an income tax preparer it will probably be another month before we can get back up north to hit the beaches. ☹️
I recall finding the majority of glass over on that side in the same area as well! Here the winter Northeaster storms spread it out then it ultimately piles up and remains until the fall. Many times I've seen the same exact rocks and piles that sit all summer long unchanged Teddy thought it was a car motor! There was once a bicycle frame in the same area which was one of the giant wheel types from I'm guessing was the Victorian era... If only I had a shovel with me then, it probably would have been worth the effort to try and salvage the frame and walk 4 miles back 😆
Thank you for taking me along
Nice Yooperlite! I finally found my first one about a week ago!
I knew you would sooner rather than later!! 🤘
I’d be happy with those too!
