I tend to turn my game chat off because 90% of the time they dont even use a mic and the other 10 its a 50/50 if they even use coms or their mic is so bad I cant even hear the game because of static, crying children, TV in the background, FAN NOISES, etc.
Definitely a fair share of bad mics out there! Those ones I almost always mute lol. But when my teammates aren't talking in VC it seemed that they could usually hear what I was saying. IMO it's worth it to comm even if they aren't doing it back. At the same time, it can definitely get frustrating!

Perfect video, im actually plat 2 and im struggling to get to diamond. For this exact 15 reasons. From my experience there is a ton of peoples that get to plat by simply hiding and playing placement point. Sooo they kind of lack the awareness of playing the game normally. The redeployment fee and the general level of play make it really difficult to go beyond plat 3 where you can t expect to always finish top 5 or 3 hiding and have to get some kills to get positive SR. From this moment they ve got to play an agressive ( normal ?) Playstyle they always feared... Problems is for player like me, Im plat 2 almost plat 3 and im at the point where the teams im facing are good enough to force me to play with my teamate lol. I start to struggle to 1 vs 3 my ways to get SR. I need teamate aware of my position to wich i dont need to explain the necessity of coms, uav, breaking the counter uav, having gas mask in the endgame, being agressive when there is a solo. Who can get me SR because they actually down people and let me have the assist. I cant imagine soloing this way in diamond, at plat 2 with a 2.1 kd it s already to much for me.
I also came across a decent number of players who would hide or play super slow in the lower ranks. You can definitely climb doing that, but you won't get any better! And yeah soloing in Diamond was tough, I had to find some people to queue up with consistently to get out of D3. Plat was doable (but not always fun) but Diamond is a bit different for sure! Surprisingly good! I would like to share with my teammates but they are SO PASSIVE like camping dark corners of Ground Zero if at all possible. Just going bottom mid of any FPS/BR game really doesn't seem like the play to me at least at this plat 2 - D1 level. Edit: Also no one uses the mic effectively at this level so there's not much point in un-muting them as the only thing you hear is RAGE; If you didn't get as many kills you are somehow trash - even tho you are the same rank etc. I keep trying but they keep being incredibly toxic.

My train of thought when it comes to muting/unmuting is that I give everyone a chance and if the mic quality is terrible or they're toxic then they get a quick mute. But I've found some cool people in game chat and won a decent amount of games with randoms. Don't know for sure unless you try! GL in your games!

Diamond 1 my goal is to reach Crimson and ghost perk has been helping me stay alive alot more but i keep struggling to stay in Diamond 2 because i solo queue and the randoms make me rage queue but thank you for pointing that out i will work on that if i ever get put in the blender again haha
Hey nice work! A 4kd up to plat is really good, especially when primarily solo queuing! I wouldn't be surprised if you can make it at least to Crimson given that you keep playing. Good luck in your games and with your random teammates!
I am convinced the only reason my buddies are in Plat with me is because I carried them. So many of these mistakes mentioned I noticed my buddies doing all the time. I keep reminding them to shoot counter UAVs, dont land on your dead body or hot loadey. I am not perfect either but I am conscious of the mistakes I commit. My teammates not so much.
I really appreciate the mindset of "I am not perfect either but I am conscious of the mistakes I commit" as it's exactly how I go about my gameplay. There's ALWAYS something that you yourself as a player could have done better/differently in any engagement. That's what I try to focus on the most!
I hit plat 3 in 5 days and to go along with the fire sales tips. People sould buy portable radars. They are cheaper than uavs and are very usefull final zone.
That's a great tip! Portable radars are a really great buy purchase. I'll use a UAV to find where people are from further away and then drop the portable once I get close!
You’re always one game away from a 100+sr game! JK! Knowing when to quit pays dividends. Also, accept your hot streak has ended. Rage queueing won’t bring it back.
Thanks for asking! I recently found a consistent squad of people to queue up with in Crimson & I'm not really playing ranked too much atm. But you might be able to find some people to queue up with in the MW3 Discord server! I've heard of people being able to find squads there!
Please tell me how you got your latency so low? Mines like 30-60 ms on a good day and i have 700mb download speed 😢 do I need to upgrade to 1g? Or get a new router? Thanks
I just use my default ISP router and have half the download speed that you do. Do you use an ethernet cord? If you do and are still having issues it could be the distance to your closest server, bandwidth usage in your house, loose/damaged ethernet cable... and that's about all I got 😅
Hey, thanks! Most of these clips were recorded on a 6700Xt (pretty good GPU), Ryzen 7 2700X processor (absolute trash) and 16gb of RAM. Thankfully, I just got some advice to upgrade my CPU*/RAM and now I'm on a 7700X/32GB of RAM and have doubled my frames 😤. Don't know why I didn't do this years ago lol

Nope! I play on PC, but for most of the clips in the video I was averaging between 80-100 FPS in 1080p, which isn't too much better than an Xbox 1. I've also heard they're going to release an upgraded version of the current consoles here soonish (end of 2024 maybe?) so that might drop the price for an X or PS5 if $ is tight.

It’s one of the hardest things to do but it’s important to avoid it! I always play worse when I’m super titled.
