Mortal Kombat 11 Johnny All Cage References vs Actual Scenes shows intro dialogues that make references and call backs to previous MK games, other movies and music and then show the actual scenes they are referencing.

The "Man-Eater" reference is also based off of Mileena's classic fatality where she swallows you whole and then spit out your bones. It's also in MKX as well. Look it up.
These were awesome!!!!! I am looking forward to the Indiana Jones reference when Cage told Erron Black he chose poorly or the film references on the Stage and Character Select.

Somehow I appreciate the hell out of the way Johnny's voice actor did the "Attack ships on fire" line.
Like in character, he got the opportunity to reference what's considered one of the greatest cinematic lines ever, and so there's this...soft reverence, there.

The Nosferatu joke refers to how in MK2 they created Baraka by painting a Nosferatu mask and glueing long pointed false nails over the mouth to create teeth. Also does anyone else want to see a buddy cop action comedy staring Johnny Cage and Baraka? That would kick ass.

There is a reference in call of duty modern wafare were you get to jump into a into a helicopter from a ship. When you fall and die the game will write " No one makes it on the first jump". That's a matrix reference. Lol

One low budget movie sorta has an MK1 Sonya Blade outfit,the movie is called Angel Fist a low budget female version of Bloodsport it has a blonde chick in it and she wore and fought in a leotard just like Sonya Blade from the first game.
