My favorite part of the episode are the little touches that they threw in this episode. Like there's a nun from the fear dimension because Daisy grew up in an orphanage, "Jemma" being a combination of both Yo-Yo's and Mack's fear. In the window of the pawn shop you'll see the ax that Mack used to cut off Coulson's hand, a Louisville Slugger that was Rosalyn's, the Avengers toys from the very first episode, a cello, a red hoverboard that symbolizes Lola.
Happy 100th episode! One of my favorites, especially as a Fitszimmons fan 🥰🥰🥰 And hilarious that Deke turns out to be their grandson 😂 Great to have Mike and Davis back as well! Lots of great callbacks!
Yeah, _that's_ how you do a 100th Episode! 😍 Mike Peterson (twice!), tiny cameos from several villains, the wedding we've waited _years_ for, and the Deke revelation. Your analysis is spot on. Although it's a bit out of place from the overall story of the season, but it does advance the Coulson-is-dying part, and of course having FitzSimmons' grandchild here as an adult is very much time travel. The destroy-the-Earth part is paused, but future-Elena claimed that saving Coulson is what leads to Earth's destruction, so it's all wrapped together, really. Your predictions... well... we will see. This show never does _quite_ what you expect, though.
Great 100th anniversary special with lots of neat callbacks, something a lot of shows these days don't get to do. It is also similar to a Buffy episode where something is trying to convince the main character that the entire show has been their personal delusion and they need to let go of it. You could do that kind of existential self-doubt with just about any main character since no matter how realistic you try to make the show, events will always revolve around them.
Wonderful reaction to a great episode. Know you’ve seen a few more episodes, so no need to comment about what happened or to what it leads. Did wish to remark that the conversations between Daisy, daddy Phil and/or momma May were fantastic and emotional. Especially for what’s to come. Really excited to see your reactions to the rest of this season and the series as a whole. Thanks for sharing.
"But the good ones, THE REAL DEAL, they're not heroes because of what they have that we don't. It's what they do with it. You're right, Mike. It matters who you are" - Coulson ('Pilot') ❤
Love your reactions Shelly! You're such a joy to watch getting pulled into our favorite dysfunctional family! I now look forward to Sundays just for these reactions ❤
Deke being their grandson is one of my favorite reveals in the show!

4:14I love Deke. I believe he was just a creation of the TV show but the character deserves to be added to the comics.
2:54 It did that because of number 100 :)
My favorite s5 ep, but also, of course, one of my favs of the whole series🤩🤩
100th episode ❤❤
As brilliant as Fritz is, he’s wrong.
