@big_turk what a joke i just spend a ton preordering the 23ultra and now even a simple screen protector isn't on it anymore? Samsung giving the apple approach huh
Excellent explanation, but it would have been better for the phone to come with a pre-protective sticker. My S20 phone comes with a pre-adhesive, and I will not need a screen sticker until this moment.🙂
The ones that came on phones were never designed for day to day protection and always tend to start peeling after a month or two. Added the fact that majority of people would always replace it with a proper protector the original cover was simply a waste of materials so it goes, same as plugs etc since every one already has plugs. Plus it's not even that expensive compared to cheapo no name ones on amazon and they guarantee delivery before your phone is delivered so that's another bonus.
Just applied mine today, solid instruction but I find the middle part leaves a couple of lines from where it meets the rest but that should come out over time. Shame it doesn't come pre-installed like it did with my previous phone which was the infamous Galaxy S10 that was such a nice surprise at the time and is still on my phone to this day.
Mine has alot of tiny persistent buble the first time, so I need to remove it and use the spare one to correct it, the template does not actually help too because of that, its actually applied a litle bit aligned to the left
I was able to remove those lines by rubbing with the card. The template did help a lot, it makes sure the foil is centered at the bottom. Just also take care to align to the camera at the top.
Garbage…the filme doesn’t separate from the plastic sheet giving plenty of Time for dust to hit the screen..no matter how hard I pushed, it wouldn’t separate..wasted two, straight in the bin, also £11 in the bin

Like they care about the environment. They care about money. Sure there is a lot more overall waste by not including a charger or screen protector, but they have better profit margins which is far more important than the environment.
Note 10+ came with screen "protector" (although thin) out of the box. Of course I didn't remove it (I thought it will start to peel off after few days), but, 3 years later - not a single spot has changed, it's there just like first day. Not that it would prevent screen damage from hard hits, but it's completely fine protection with case on the phone. With the S23 Ultra, of course, that first layer is mate black so one has to either buy screen protectors (that are insanely hard to apply/stick to curved screen) or expect scratches after few weeks. It's hard to understand why exactly you became so greedy... PS with all this "green" and enviroment friendly stuff that you guys promote - how are we actually going to save the Earth if each item (phone, earbuds, charger, case, screen protector...) comes in separate box, with papers, glue, plastic... ??

It's tip time, from me....................... 1. when applying, make sure the hole at the top is aligned with the camera before sticking down the middle part(mine in the holder was just off!) 2. After sticking down the middle part and you go to stick the top part check, check and re-check for dust(i had the sticky thing on the back of my had and i had to keep using it to lift those pesky dust spots!) 3. When applying the top part and then the bottom, push down with the piece of card and DO NOT stop pushing going up the screen(I had zero bubbles in mine!) 4. If you end up with 2 lines under the screen protector in the middle from where the edges of the middle part was(like i did). Use the supplied cloth and rub hard over each of the lines in the direction they are going. They will disappear!(I think it might be to do with the friction of the rubbing that heats up the glue lines that makes them disappear!?)

I think it's better if the screen protector covers all the areas, including the front camera, like what I am using now for my S21 Ultra. That "U" cut/shape will catch dirt/dust in no time. Just my opinion.
I have brought this two times. There is two screen protector in the package, which is an advantage. That video shows how easy it is to apply the protector. At least when doing it in a cleanroom and after a lot of practice ... Fortunately I got the 2 pack, so had a second chance.
I nailed it first try.. somehow it's not perfectly aligned in top (around camera) off by 1 mm or something. I think I have 2 very tiny bubbles, never was that successfull before. Visible if you look for it or just look very closely. Make sure to use dust remover.

Once I get the device , i have to try how samsung Screen Protector works. Till date the best one was Spigen easy fit for samsung, but unfortunate its not available for S23 ultra
This is great but what about the applicator? Is it biodegradable and made from recycled material? Because that thing is gonna go to waste and you removed power bricks for this exact reason. So I am curious, if you could give me more info on this it'd be great!
Good luck with them actually responding. This screen protector wasn't even fully available the first day. It sold out before I could ever put it in my cart.
Why not a Tempered Glass Kit for Screen Protection? I understand that for the curved edges a thin plastic film can be easily rolled out. However, when you are trying to innovate into the Accessories segment too, then wouldn't it be great to offer protection from phone drops or if something hits my Ultra. Saving the screen from scratches is good. However, protecting the screen from hits & blows from extreme conditions should be considered too.
@@msgeen No, you're wrong, its a fact that a tempered glass saves the phone screen, break the glass, not the screen, a film Will not save it from a fall.
That sounds like a "you" problem. I highly recommend using stickers for dust removal and to use the wet wipes to make sure all oils from your hands are cleaned off. I know some cellular carriers like T-Mobile actually put it on for you but you have to buy it at their store for certain places but my store said it would help me regardless where I got it. So shop around
One tip I learned for getting a dust-free room is to go to your bathroom and turn on the hot water from your bathtub or shower area with all doors and windows closed. Wait for the room to start to steam up a bit. That way, dust won't linger around in the air because the steam and humidity inside your bathroom will prevent dust from flaoting in the air.
I was so happy when my s10 plus already had a screen protector on it. Now I have to apply it myself and might not be perfect

I wonder how much the screen protector from Samsung will cost though... With the phone's hefty price tag, this should have been included - aside from the charger, the poking pin, and the box. Buying at Lazada or Shopee maybe at USD 1-2 + S&H without the phone base thingy.
about as much as a tempered glass 1 from amazon i imagine, i was lucky enough that my provider gave me a free tempered glass cover for the screen & rear camera lens along with an Otter case.
It should be part of the package if you are charging premium. Selling a protective film just makes you another Apple ( not in terms of quality but in terms of looting the users). My One+ never had any scretch on screen but S22 it has so many scratches. I applied protection screen and now finger print is not working. Its so frustrating to use it now.
2/2 peeled off within 3 weeks from the edge. No matter what I did I couldnt get rid of the bubbles, and the crease in the middle. Money thrown down the drain. A shame these phones don't come with pre-installed protectors. My S10 still had its protector in a great shape 3 years after purchasing. Whatever they used at the time was magic. Such a shame that we can't have nice things anymore with such an expensive phone.
Yes because the ones that used to come on phones were never designed for daily use, and in my experience always started peeling after a month or two, I always ended up replacing it with a better one. And then you get those barbarians that just removed them and don't use a protector. So it makes sense to save wasted materials and if you want one then get one 🤷♂️ Just like plugs, I have a collection of plugs from previous phones and definitely don't need another one so it means more materials saved from no plug plus smaller packaging
It's just for soft scratches. It is the plastic film it used to come with last generations, but because they're aren't using plastic no more they sell it separately.
Im using may s7 edge for 7 years no tampered glass or any screen protector and i drop it alot and my screen is just fine and work properly if you drop your phone maybe 10 ft or higher it mybe broken but not like 3 feet lol
I've been using the Galaxy S10 for four years. The screen protector was installed on it from the factory and served me for 2 years before I put a new one on it. Now I'm switching to Galaxy S23 and I don't understand why I have to study the instructions and do it myself.
The application of these is a nightmare... fourth try lucky I guess?! I can't believe I wasted €30. I thought it was my fault messing it up, but other comments have made me feel better. It's extremely easy to get persistent bubbles in the centre during the initial application. The squeegee also damages the film when you try to get rid of them. Applying too much pressure leaves visible damage on the film. Even during my successful (bubbleless) application, I was left with two rainbow lines on the protector (which are only visible when the display is on). Dust is also a huge issue with these. I cleaned my phone with isopropyl alcohol and a shammy to remove any grease and thoroughly used the dust sticker included. By the time you've applied the first step, more dust will have landed and you'll need to redo the dust sticker before proceeding. I cleaned my whole area before application and it still kept happening. It's very easy to trap particles underneath the film. Probably the most frustrating product ever, but it looks amazing once it's on properly and isn't noticeable.
Does gorilla glass victus 2 really needs a screen protector ? I have the regular samsung s23, should i apply screen protector or is it ok to use withiut the protector

This is great but what about the applicator? Is it biodegradable and made from recycled material? Because that thing is gonna go to waste and you removed power bricks for this exact reason. So I am curious, if you could give me more info on this it'd be great!
Boohoo!
Good luck with them actually responding. This screen protector wasn't even fully available the first day. It sold out before I could ever put it in my cart.
@@nomore-constipation sorry but i was able to buy it first day bleeehhhhhhhhhhh
Amazing, now I can open a shop to do it :D
Why not a Tempered Glass Kit for Screen Protection? I understand that for the curved edges a thin plastic film can be easily rolled out. However, when you are trying to innovate into the Accessories segment too, then wouldn't it be great to offer protection from phone drops or if something hits my Ultra.
Saving the screen from scratches is good. However, protecting the screen from hits & blows from extreme conditions should be considered too.
Glass on glass is redundant. It also adds another gap between your fingers and the digitizer.
@@msgeen No, you're wrong, its a fact that a tempered glass saves the phone screen, break the glass, not the screen, a film Will not save it from a fall.
Actually the ultra sonic fingerprint scanner doesnt work with a tempered glass on. Speaking from experience trust me.
Might be because of the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor
you guys are underestimating gorilla glass victus 2
Now I watch every Samsung video!
The only thing I'm missing is that dust free white room I'm seeing ... it takes 20 mins to find a dust-free area in my house. .
Maybe clean your house. Then close the windows and doors to stop the wind.
@@Skatted 🤣🤣🤣
I was so happy when my s10 plus already had a screen protector on it. Now I have to apply it myself and might not be perfect
I wonder how much the screen protector from Samsung will cost though... With the phone's hefty price tag, this should have been included - aside from the charger, the poking pin, and the box.
Buying at Lazada or Shopee maybe at USD 1-2 + S&H without the phone base thingy.
about as much as a tempered glass 1 from amazon i imagine, i was lucky enough that my provider gave me a free tempered glass cover for the screen & rear camera lens along with an Otter case.
In Germany it costs 19,99€ but I bought it as a student so it was round about 13€ for me and I think that's more than okay for a screen protector
14 us dollars
wooow thanks samsung!.....GREAT TUTORIAL...I DID IT perfect!!!
With how much it worth, the least you can do is give to the users, a pre-install tempered glass!
I already got that screen protector. I Just need to order the S23 Ultra this week.
FUN FACT: S22 Ultra screen protectors fit on S23 Ultra 😉
Thank you!
Thank you. Yes it worked!! I love my s23
@@MauriceNintendoSwitch I suppose some of those coming from the S22 have spare ones they can now use on their new S23.
@@DontFuckWitDreDay hi, can you confirm if you tried the S22U screen protector on the S23U? If so I can confidently buy the same.
@@AdityaKumars I've read a bunch of ppl on Reddit used the 22 & it was fine.
Love you Samsung ❤️❤️❤️
can we use the same for s22 ultra
Nice tutorial! Now i need the phone
Great tutorial 👍
Thank you Samsung❤
I love plastic (extremely scratch resistant and nice feeling)
Easy for the screen to break and also easy to scratch in the plastic and plastic feeling.
Best samsung☝💫
Definately going to buy one
what a marketing strategic ad ❤️❤️
So you're telling me this is more environmentally friendly than just putting it on the phone!!
Yes because the ones that used to come on phones were never designed for daily use, and in my experience always started peeling after a month or two, I always ended up replacing it with a better one.
And then you get those barbarians that just removed them and don't use a protector. So it makes sense to save wasted materials and if you want one then get one 🤷♂️
Just like plugs, I have a collection of plugs from previous phones and definitely don't need another one so it means more materials saved from no plug plus smaller packaging
Finally samsung presents his accessories of their phones. That i wait for longtime. We just need one model of phone that's all.
Any difference between S22 ultra screen protector and S23 ultra screen protector?
.... its the same obviously.
@V-0 Is that means I can apply the 23u one on my s22u?
Wonder how long you spent to be able to perfectly apply it. It looks so easy but isn't. I've just wasted 2 and they're not cheap. Not happy.
Why not glass protector samsung
It's just for soft scratches. It is the plastic film it used to come with last generations, but because they're aren't using plastic no more they sell it separately.
Where is The Charger in Box ?? We have to Buy Separately means Again Money 🤑💰💰💰💰💰💰💰
Samsung always use Snapdragon
don't use exynos
Im using may s7 edge for 7 years no tampered glass or any screen protector and i drop it alot and my screen is just fine and work properly if you drop your phone maybe 10 ft or higher it mybe broken but not like 3 feet lol
Now thats call enviromentall friendly with all that leftover 🤣
Video is great. Stock the same in your store. I own S22U. Still can't get any samsung accessories.
wasting plastic?
It's the same thing last generations phones came with. I'm pretty sure this is just something you apply yourself because they may have removed it?
@@SuperBoop They removed it so you have to buy it separately. The same thing happened with the charger and the headphone jack.
@@sangresolida right
Would be nice if your website actually let me place an order and also had these in stock
I've just placed an order no problem in UK, although stock issues could be country related
If you ever feel useless, just remember someone applies screen protector on a Samsung.
Glad my Poco F5 come with pre-installed screen protector.
The screen protector should come pre-installed like how it came with Galaxy S21 series. It's a headache to install this protector.
Greedy samsung.
Superb.. Now everyone will copy this new applicator
They made a official screen protector!
Victus 2 doesn't/shouldn't need a screen protector. The video and technique is great, though.
I've been using the Galaxy S10 for four years. The screen protector was installed on it from the factory and served me for 2 years before I put a new one on it. Now I'm switching to Galaxy S23 and I don't understand why I have to study the instructions and do it myself.
You guys are the best
Asking just for the clearance, is it compatible with the fingerprint sensor of s23 ?
Thanks, Now I know how to put screen protector
Nice. Why were you so late about this problem's solution. We needed this for so long. By the way thanks.
Samsung is the my favourite company in the world
The prices you charge it would be nice to have one applied out of the box
Whose hand is this? So good looking! Good job Samsung
For those who have bought and tried this, is this hydrogel? Can you write with Spen smoothly?
Looks so great and satisfying however after moving into the phone case all the edges start bubbling up.
I suggest you should have the Samsung galaxy z fold 3 or 4 too. Screen protector inside.
Fun and relaxing video. Kind of reminds me of some Switch music especially with that crowd applause at the end lol
Thats clean and perfect Screen apply protector
Very Satisfying! ❤❤
In Country Did the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra arrive?
شرح ممتاز ووافي، لكن ليت هناك شرح لمحتويات العلبة وفائدة الشريحة رقم 1
Does gorilla glass victus 2 really needs a screen protector ? I have the regular samsung s23, should i apply screen protector or is it ok to use withiut the protector
What type of condom did you wear and what was it like?
