Six eating the Runny Dude was the biggest plot twist of my life and i was not excpecting that.

It oddly enough makes sense that Six eats the little Nome creature instead of the sausage? Many rooms ago, they showed that those sausage links are meat from the children like Six. Yet the game constantly tries to get you to empathize and feel sentimental towards the little friendly Nomes. Thus comes the toughest challenge: would you rather dehumanize yourself and eat a tasty treat made out of the flesh and bones of your fellow brothers, or become a monster and eat the creatures that you grew an attachment towards? Sadly we have no choice since the game forces Six to eat the Nome, but how you perceive the situation is up to you.
But the nomes are apparently the remains of the kids that got eaten ?
@@captaincoates3652 the Nomes are children whom the Lady transformed, presumably ones who saw her without her mask. This is pretty solid considering what we see in the Depths of The Maw DLC where the boy we play as, otherwise known as the Runaway Boy, sees the Lady without her mask and then he gets turned into the Nome that Six eats by the Lady.
i saw someone say that even when six eats the nome she’d have his memories and know he used to be the runaway boy, so really either way she loses, but if it were me i think i’d choose the sausage...

I love the disconnect between Jack and Six after the twist happens. He is so taken back by what's happened that he stops referring to her as "me" or "I" and starts saying "you" calling six a monster and an asshole. Really love the change of tone here after Jack is appealed by her actions. Excellent stuff really.

@@AshStarProductions I don't think it's the same room. This is the maw, he was imprisoned in the signal tower. What I think they were mentioning was about how someone could be watching people in the bathroom for whatever reason, because sometimes they use one-way glass in the place of a mirror. Think the classic interrogation rooms in crime shows and what have you. Or at the very least, that's what I thought was going on there.

Apparently the ship is called the "Maw" & Six is supposedly the daughter of the lady that is in the beginning that runs the Maw. The lady has all these rich gluttonous people get on the ship to eat everything, including little children until she absorbs their life force. Also, Six's mother is so obsessed with beauty & sent Six down to the bottom of the ship, which is like a dungeon because she was jealous of Six's beauty, but she can't stand how she looks that is why all the mirrors are broken except for the one that was locked up & I believe that's why she wears an A geisha mask to cover up her face. also, the gnomes might be what is left of children that might have starved that is why they are so scared of everyone even Six because of being trapped for a long time. I'm not positive, but the game is so great! And there is supposed to be a prequel comic coming out. 😃

For those confused, the story is basically this:
Six, the main character, after jumping from a building called the Nest with another girl, who dies as she jumps into the water, Six recovers the girls raincoat as a way to remember her and puts it on. This occurs in the prequel game, Very Little Nightmares.
After jumping from the Nest and surviving, Six leaves the Nest in a boat, but is picked up by the Ferryman -- the man who takes children to the Maw, the location you play Little Nightmares and its DLC in. He takes her to the Pale City and the Maw. This is revealed in the comics.
The Maw, as explained on the website, is an entertainment resort on a boat for Guests, who leave the land they come from to fulfill their greedy, gluttonous desires. The Maw is kept running by The Janitor, the man with long arms (His real name is Roger) who left the world in search of a better life, the Twin Chefs, who are implied to cook using the captured children -- however, what is isn't implied is the fact that most of the meat is actually Guest meat, who are killed and cooked by the Chef's once they get fat enough -- and the Lady, whose magic keeps the engine of the Maw running, and who presumably runs the Maw. Believe it or not, within the universe of Little Nightmares the Maw is considered a place of order. The majority of this information comes from the website, as well as in-game implications.
If you're confused about the ending, essentially, Six gains the memories and abilities of the things she eats. That's how Six knows how to defeat the Geisha, because the Nome she ate in chapter four had seen the method to her defeat, as well as it being the reason she got the Lady's powers. At the end, once she leaves, Six awaits rescue.
After being rescued, Six begins to "fade" and requires the help of Mono, the protagonist of Little Nightmares 2, to help her. This information comes from the Little Nightmares 2 website. Go watch the trailer, it's amazing.
EDIT 24/2/21: Recently I have played and finished the sequel. More information and timeline will thus be added. HEAVY SPOILER WARNING. I would like to clarify that Six doesn't begin to fade until the end of the game.
Upon being rescued by the ferryman, Six reaches the main landmass within the Little Nightmares universe; the Pale City. As she attempts to enter the centre of the city through the wilderness, she is caught by the Hunter and locked in his closet for upwards of a month.
Here we bring in mono, a smart young lad with a paper bag on his face. Waking up from a dream of a door with an eye symbol on it. (Remember all the eyes in Little Nightmares?)
While Mono traverses the very same wilderness, he finds Six locked within the closet and frees her. With each other's help, they evade the Hunter and -- eventually -- kill him with his own shotgun. Using a raft made from a door, Mono and Six travel into the Pale City.
While in the city, Mono and Six discover television sets that he attempts to enter in order to reach the door from his dream, but he is always pulled out by Six.
Once in the Pale City, Six and Mono must make their way through a gargantuan, labrynthian school stalked by the Sadistic Teacher, though they manage to evade and her and recover Six's lovely yellow raincoat. (This would mean that at some point she lost her original yellow rain coat, and her finding another and donning it is symbolic of her accepting herself and her past.)
From here, they enter the Hospital occupied by freakish patients and a grotesque spider-like doctor, whom they may optionally kill by incineration.
Finally, they enter the heart of the Pale City, occupied by the inhabitants of the City, Viewers, whose faces have been distorted through long term exposure to the broadcast sent out by the Thin Man from the Signal Tower.
Ultimately, Mono finds a working television set that leads him to the door. When he opens it, he is greeted by the Thin Man. Mono is pulled out by Six, but the Thin Man follows behind. Mono evades him, but Six is captured. Using the various television sets around the city, Mono finds a glitched mirage of Six whom leads him near the Signal Tower, where he can confront him.
Discovering that he has powers similar to that of the Thin Man, Mono kills him by disintegrating him. He then pulls the Signal Tower closer to him.
Mono enters the Signal Tower where he reunites with Six, now a distorted monster. Six is not initially hostile, but when Mono damages her music box, which she appears fearcely protective of. (Likely due to the music of a music box appearing frequently within her appearances and history.)
When Mono destroys it, the tower begins to crumble and reveal fleshy growths, masses and eyes. Running from the mass, the two reach a jump. Six makes the jump but Mono is caught by her. For an unknown reason, Six let's Mono fall as she escapes through a television. Mono resigns himself to his fate and sits in a single chair.
As Mono grows older, he gets taller and thinner, eventually taking on the form of the Thin Man, implying heavily that Mono is the Thin Man caught in a time loop.
In a bonus cutscene, Six is seen near a shadowy version of herself -- a remnant of the ordeal. The shadow sees a pamphlet for the Maw and Six's stomach growls. This means that LN2 may actually take place BEFORE Little Nightmares, and most likely does in a twisted sort of way.
So, what's the deal?
Short answer, I don't know yet. Long answer, LN2 probably takes place between Very Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares or signals a return to the Maw. Perhaps this means that Six becomes the Lady. Its intentionally unclear, though from what I can tell and what has been confirmed, Little Nightmares 2 is both a prequel and a sequel: a time loop that occurs both before and after the first. I believe this because at the end of the first, Six awakes rescue and possibly ends up at the pale city, and because the Thin Man does exist within the time of the first game as evidenced by the DLC easter egg. Characters from Little Nightmares 2 also appear as portraits on the Maw. As well as this, it seems that the Thin Man may be able to control time, as evidenced by his continued attempts to reach his younger self -- Mono -- and so logically it makes sense that the loop occurs as a result of a convoluted bootstrap paradox of betrayal and fear. It mag also be that Six attempted to prevent Mono from becoming the Thin Man by killing him, but this unclear. Take this with a grain of salt, as none of this is ever actually stated.
Ooooooooooh I gotta know more lol. I had only seen this series Jack did. I was slightly disappointed with the ending cuz I was hoping to get some backstory but I’m so glad there’s a prequel and sequel AND a website! Thanks.

The Lady doesn't like her own reflection, as she considers herself hideous. This is why she wears a mask and destroys all her mirrors. Then, she created the Maw to surround herself in people that are far uglier and fatter to make her feel better about herself. This is why we see her overlooking the people constantly.

But hey! That's just a theory, A GAME THEORY!!
The Geisha, who is the commander of the ship/Six's mom has issues with beauty (hence why the mirrors are broken and she wears a mask), ships you away in a suitcase because you are prettier than her. Six (you) is now neither a meal nor guest and has to fend for herself but gives way to the power of the geisha telling everyone to eat endlessly. People outside this place hear that there is this magical island/boat where you can have all you can eat without expenses, but there's a catch, you will naturally eat every thing in front of you, even live meat, due to the geisha's magic. Once the guests are well fed, the geisha kills them and takes their souls as food because regular meat does not nearly satisfy her. Six having given in to the ships magic eats something every 45 min or so, but also being the Geisha's daughter only wants to eat live beings if given the choice. After Six has eaten and taken her mothers power, she goes on to eating the souls of the guests and waits until the next ships to arrive.

What's weird is that when you start off, it's like she's trying to find her way around the boat to try and get out, so clearly she has never been to that boat before. But ALSO in the lady's room there was a picture of six on the bottom left when Jack was hiding under the bed, covered up half by a grey blanket. How could it be her FIRST time on there, but literally have a painting of her on a wall in a room that's IN that boat? Please help my confusion.

The yellow raincoat was not originally belonged to Six, it was from her friend that died saving her in Very Little Nightmares. Maybe it was the owner of the raincoat, idk
In the prequel Very Little Nightmares, you play as The Girl In The Yellow Raincoat, who arrives at the start of the game in a hot air balloon. Over the course of the game it's revealed The Girl isn't actually Six, as you meet Six eventually and she helps you out. Without getting into specifics, The Girl loses her raincoat and we now know Six finds it in Little Nightmares II. So my interpretation of all that is the drawings that can be found in LN1 aren't actually drawings of Six, but rather drawings of The Girl, and that she was escaping from The Maw at the start of VLN.

This is my theory:
The Lady isn't her name, it's a position. Every Lady is required to have a daughter, who will then kill her and everybody on the Maw, and the new Lady will then rebuild the Maw as she pleases. Six is called Six because she's the sixth Lady; the one who we killed is Five. This is why there are so many things that are handily Six's size, and also why there's one convenient mirror in plain sight on a pillow -- although Five doesn't want to die, she has to give Six a chance. It would also explain why everybody wants to kill Six (they'll die if she succeeds) and why she makes no effort to save the other children who are trapped at the Maw.

When Jack ran past the door and the guests were all on top of each other, he said “it’s like a frickin orgy!” As a joke, but I think it might actually be true. I mean, The Maw is a giant submersible out in the middle of the ocean, and once a year, it rises and the guests show up. I think what jack said about it having no laws is probably true, because the guests just eat and eat, sometimes even killing each other for food, and once they’re done eating, they are murdered by the chefs and turned into more meat, along with children, because why else would the Janitor put them into bags and send them to the chefs? So, along with all of this gluttony and cannibalism, an orgy would make sense. The Maw is a place where people can do whatever they want, which would explain why so many murderous people are there.

What I believe is based on, is your fears AKA your nightmares or little nightmares. As we seen the beginning at the masked lady is one of your biggest fears. But as you travel you meet your other fears. Later on when you eat the lady, you are Conquering the fear of her. When you take the power of her it is like you are stronger than before. Then when you are walking down the hall and suck the life out of them is like you are conquering your smaller fears. The reason why you ate the little dude is because you have to face little things to get rid of the big things. You then walk out of the ship or out to the Sun meaning you have conquered all of your fears and nothing can get to you now. Along the way you helped the little dudes finally not be scared of their fears. Please like so Jack / Sean can see! Thanks!

Well that would be true , but now that there's the comics , we know some of the things
In the comics those REALLY big dudes are everywhere , it's like the human are not here anymore , but the big dudes are doin' the same stuffs as the human though.
We know too that Six is named that way because before being on the Maw , Six was with a group of 5 childrens , but 1 was killed by the leeches , and after that we knew a little more 'bout the ''Geisha'' , one of the group of children broke a toy that has a ''mirror'' , he broke it because he's scared of mirror , 'cuz once , mirror sucked the life of his friends or I don't know what.
So this is why the ''Geisha'' is afraid of the mirrors , and all the mirrors are broken.
This can't be a nightmare 'cuz in the comics , Six and the children discovered a guy named ''The Ferry Man'' , All the children were gone to the Maw ( The big vessel , ship whatever we are in the game) except Six , So she was then the Sixth child going to the Maw , but not accidentally , she wanted the Ferry Man to bring her on the Maw , so it was on purpose.
I believe Six's purpose was not to escape the Maw , but maybe find her friends OR kill the 'Geisha'' , that would be why Six had a ''nightmare'' , Well I don't have any theories on why does the Geisha have some draws of Six though...

What is interesting to me is that both little nightmare games depict one of the 7 deadly sins in regards to the populace. LN1 was gluttony with all the guests being these fat caricatures gorging themselves on food, and LN2 was sloth with the people in the city being so absorbed with TV that they get "sucked" in. I am curious though, if the protagonist's name of "six" means that they embody six of the seven sins. In the two games we've seen six's own gluttony (hunger), sloth (being enraptured by their music box), wrath (killing the doll child by hand), pride (letting go of the player character in LN2 because they no longer needed him), but I'm not sure if there are examples of six personifying any of the others.
Six eating the little nome was kinda unexpected but if you notice that throughout the game what Six eats becomes Increasingly more inhumane and she slowly becomes The Little Nightmare.

You know how six befriends the gnomes but then eats one without Jack controlling her? I had a dream with a similar (less gruesome) concept, where I was looking after a little boy and I really liked him like he was my child and wanted to protect him and I saw a ‘bad guy’ leave the shopping complex we were in so I gave the boy to a lady and said “look after him please” and followed the guy. Up until this point I was in first person but then I went out if my body and watched myself call the bad guy and say “yep, I’ve got the boy” and I was so upset at myself for betraying this kid that I loved!
