More fun riding a slow bike fast than riding a fast bike slow that's for sure
Spot on.
I love that. I will always prefer a slow bike I can cane.
i do agree with you however in my countrey on highways cars usally 120kmh so low power bikes are problem
I mean it's an overengineered and under-stressed engine! That bike will last forever! Love this review! Incredible video work!
Couldn't agree more! And thanks for your kinda words.
This really is a wonderful looking motorcycle. It's no wonder Royal Enfield has been making this model seemingly forever!
Couldn’t agree more
This video has the best shots of this beautiful bike compared to the other dozens of Bullet videos I've watched. I live in the States and the Bullet wasn't available last year when I bought my Meteor or else I would have chose it. Very excited we're finally getting them this year
Thanks for you kind words, greatly appreciated. How do you find the Meteor? I love mine. I have a few bikes, but it’s always the one I go to when commuting, great fun machine, but as mentioned, if I were buying one today, I’d go for the Bullet, its just classic styling that really appeals. Let us know if you get a test ride on one.
@@BikerTorque I have a Fireball Red Meteor and it's awesome! I really love the looks and the sound and it's got enough power to go anywhere I want to go. I'd hate to give it up but those black and gold Bullets are just perfect looking
@@kriscotner7105 yeah they do sound good, love the thump, thump, thump, its a great soundtrack. Yep, the Black and Gold Bullet’s do look pretty fine.
I briefly owned a 2022 Classic 350 (chrome red) and it was easily one of my top three favorite bikes ever. I cannot wait to own another Enfield 350 if they don’t make a new 500.
Not sure we will see a new 500, but a 650 Classic should be on the way
2 years with my classic.
Relaxed soul and character thats been lost on modern techno bikes.
Done the head down arse up in the 70s .
Great fun but no longer is fun for me.
Done the foot forward big cruiser in the 90s . great on long straight roads but around town and back roads clumsy as F compared to nimble bikes.
Yes, don’t mind the Classic either
Definitely the nicest looking bike in the 350 range. I would still prefer the Meteor as a daily rider.
If people are complaining about the lack of power, they most likely do not get this bike at all.
When i sold my CB125e, I was toying with adding a 350 to the fleet for daily duties. Still may get one down the track.
Totally agree Matt, great looking and it was a heap of fun. Love my Meteor for commuting, but think I’d buy a Bullet if buying a 350 today, just love the style.
Beautiful bike! Most of the RE bikes are. But I do wish it had a bit more power! Lol!
They really are great looking bikes.
Woah, I love the video. Got all the infomation that I need !
Thank you ❤
Glad it was helpful and thanks for stopping by
I have one and love it, I fitted bar end mirrors and they look great.
Yes bar ends on this would look good.
Great review, great looking bike just a tad short for me 😎👌
Dude, 99% of the bikes on the market are to short for you.
Great fun to ride, sounds gorgeous, seriously tempted, seat very comfy.
It really is!
I think the power is adequate too. And I agree, adding ten more HP, people would want ten more.
Yay! RE mirrors! Hahahahaha strike again!
A champ of a bike.
Hey Stef, yeah I really enjoyed my time in it…but just had a Himalayan 450 delivered, looking forward to that
@@BikerTorque Ooooh, now I wish I was definitely closer to take a good look at the new Himi. I bet it's amazing, while still feeling old school.
Can't wait for them to put that new 40bhp single engine into a classic looking bike. Twice the power will make it a real bike worth owning.
That new engine is a cracker, have only done a few shorts rides in the 450 Himalayan so far, but wow, what a bike. Yes would be interesting to see that engine in a classic styled machine
Great bike. I own one and love it
Agree, excellent bike, thanks for watching
I have just found this channel and after watching a couple of videos I've subbed! I love the format, really enjoyable! I'm thinking of buying a 350 classic as a second bike for a those lazy summer days, not that we have that many here in the UK! ☔
Cheers and thanks for subscribing. We do a mix of motorcycle reviews as well as rider stories, so hopefully there is plenty of content to enjoy. 350 wound make a great second bike. What bike do you have now?
@@BikerTorque I have a Honda NT1100 (manual with QS) funny thing is I didn't like them when they were first released, then I have a test ride and I was so surprised! Wolf in sheep's clothing! 🤣 Cheers for now 👍
@@Hinckley_Bikerwe will need to get in contact with Honda to see if we can get one for review, not a bike I’m familiar with
@@BikerTorque Do you have the Africa Twin? The NT1100 uses the same engine and frame, but the 17" wheels, full fairing and luggage, oh and it has Apple car play/Android auto, believe me every bike should have this! It's just sooo good! 😁
@@Hinckley_Bikeryes we have the Africa Twin, our issue is Honda here in Australia don’t ever seem to reply to our emails. Oh well, plenty of other bikes for us to feature, but if they did reply I’d be straight onto an Africa Twin and also the new Transalp
At last! A proper review from folks who understand what it is 👍. I've got the Classic 350. But for me, the styling on the new Bullet just ace's it. If this had been available last April I'd have had the Bullet instead. Oh well, I might have to add one to the garage instead 🤔😊.
I get around 100mpg on my Classic 350 now it's fully run in. Drops to about 90mph with pillion. And, yes these are very capable bikes for two up riding.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the review. Agree, love the look of the classic, but prefer the new Bullet. Thanks for watching
I had a 2001 bullet and have sat on the new ones, and for me, the pegs would have to be back further in order to get my knees down. Having said that, I’m tempted to get one of these and make the modification.
Should be a fairly easy mod I’d think
The most proportionally beautiful bike out there !
It’s got a nice classic design
Beautiful bike 🤗
We agree!
Great video guys ! Really like the Bullet as well, but I'm still a bit more bias towards the Meteor.. i wonder why 🤔😅
Lol, nothing wrong with the Meteor, still love mine, but dam the styling of the bullet is cool
@@BikerTorque that peanut shaped tank.. I love the pinstripe! It's so unique !
I really love my Hunter 350, a nice blend of classic and modern for me to zoom around the city. Eagerly waiting to see how the Guerilla 450 turns out with the new engine ❤️
The Guerilla 450? Haven’t even heard of that one. 450 liquid cooled I assume
@@BikerTorque that's the leaked name for the better Hunter/450 scram they are working on. Same engine as the new Himi, journalists spotted a few being tested here in India.
RE refers to that ‘nacelle’ as the Casket.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the video you two. WIth regard the Meteor, a common criticism is that the seating position has the rear suspension transmitting bumps right up your spine. The more upright position of the Bullet would suggest this issue is not as great for it? Interested in your view on this. Cheers.
Bumping the rear shock preload up 2-3 notches helps a lot
Agree, no real complaints with the rear shock on my Meteor
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it. I haven’t had any issues with the rear shock on my Meteor, then again one of my other bikes is a BMW R18, that can give you a reel jolt if you hit a bump.
Really like these 350s and am very interested. Got rid of my sportster about 5 years ago and have that itch again. In 40s now and am not chasing power or speed so i really think this is the ticket for a weekend warrior and the occasional commute. Live in Texas so no way id take this on the freeways here where the average speed is 75mph plus lol. But have plenty of country backroads near my neighborhood.
Yes, this bike or any of the RE 650s would do the trick.
Same here in Arizona, but I pulled the rtrigger and swapped my sportster for a Meteor about 18 months ago. Great decision.
In india every other household have it now or had Bullet in past years. Every young child has dream to own it once in life. Its emotion for many in India. Other RE models equally popular.
Cheers thanks for sharing.
Every household has it? Please be fact based
@@anchitlalwani1 Not every, but every other house, at least in states like Kerala, Maharashtra.
Not at all man. Don't throw random figures
@@maneeshsj
If they fit , try the old Honda mirror say from 1980,s CX 500 you can move them without interviewing as they move in a socket, you can get new reproduction ones from david silver spares.
Thanks for the info
They just need to bring back the 500 cc.
Not sure that they will, but who knows, we say see a 450, probably liquid cooled though.
@@BikerTorque 450 doesn't have the character of the 350. 450 is high revving machine unlike the torquey thumper 350/500
@@BikerTorque they are testing 650 cc bullet mules here in India 😉
I think the Bullet would be my second joice out of the 350s really loving my little Hunter. But have my eye on the new Himalayan 450. Thanks!
Hunter, another great little bike, but it would be the Bullet for me…however, we have just had a Himalayan 450 delivered, and all I will say is wow, I could see myself selling the Meteor so I can buy one
The Bullet and Classic is a far better touring bike than the Hunter with the larger diameter wheels giving it longer legs and a much more comfortable seat.
The Hunter could be a great little Cafe Racer 🏍️
@@mockbattles we liked the Hunter when we had one, but agree the Bullet is the one we’d go for.
@@BikerTorque When will the review and off-road testing videos coming out for the Himalayan?
@@percentbigfoot we will be shooting content with it for the next 4-5 weeks then start putting out some videos, so I'd say around mid May if everything goes to plan.
May I know what's the round item that you mount on your left handlebar?
That’s a Beeline Moto, it’s a navigation pod
Pls Review the red and chrome classic 350 too.
Already have
ruclips.net/video/mohYqF-aoUM/видео.htmlsi=JBNIfFQfMLx3dbUD
I'll review the red and Chrome for you I have one it's perfect it's great it's fabulous I keep it in the living room I love it that much it's great in every respect added some cool saddlebags and a windshield and the thing looks like a 1966 Triumph
@@james-le2rs ok thanks...thinking of buying one..
What devices was installed on handlebar (left side )
Beeline Moto and also the new Beeline Moto II, it’s a navigation device, similar to the Tripper
Bite the Bullet!
Sounds like a plan
Super cruiser
Not a bad for a little cruise. Thanks for watching
i think its a ripper little bike that you can use 100% of its power and potential every time cant say that about 90% bikes today mate add some knobbies and yeehaa 👍
I reckon you’d put knobbies on a Panigale if you could Tazy T. Thanks for stopping by mate.
@@BikerTorque always entertaining watching your work bro
I have a royal enfield classic 350, yeah really enjoy pootling, but I,m 60, would have been too slow at 30,that's for sure.
Lol, yep perfect for me now at 50
Wow just look at those front indicator lights! Truly worlds apart from the Yamaha!
Truly Ash.
FYI those paint stripes are handmade. This trend has continued since the inception of this bike.
Yes, and they are lovely
What is that gadget on the handle?
That’s a Beeline Moto, it’s a navigation pod.
It's a fantastic looking bike, but I wouldn't ever consider owning one because of the power & weight figures.
Don't get me wrong, I love a small low power bike. In fact I have a KTM Duke 200 & Yamaha 225 Scorpio in my garage next to my Aprilia & ride them both regularly. But, while the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 has over 50% more torque than my similarly air cooled Scorpio, it can only manage 1 extra hp despite having a 125 cc capacity advantage. The Bullet 350 also weighs 50 kg more than the Scorpio. Add that up & it leads me to believe that Royal Enfield have deliberately tuned the engine to be under-stressed due to heavier metals & lower quality components used in the engine in comparison to the Scorpio. And that doesn't bode well for its long term reliability.
Thanks for sharing. I think reliability wont be an issue, they have been making these type of lower capacity bikes for years. I have had my Meteor for 3 years now, absolutely no issues at all, although admittedly it hasn’t done a lot of kms, only about 10,000, due me having other bikes and also these press bikes, time will tell I suppose. I will have to check out the Scorpio, it’s not a model I am familiar with.
Yes me too I don't quite trust their metallurgy.
@@johnharris7353 time will tell.
I have a bullet for last 10 years (with UCE, which isn't that refined as compared to the new J-series one). My uncle and many of his peers have Bullets, which were atleast 3 decades old (CI Engine). So, I don't see reliability is an issue.
@@Antony_Shamarjit_Lee Age is not an indicator of reliability. My Yamaha Scorpio is 16 years old, but it's only done just over 17,000 km, so it's barely been tested.
I just sold my '06 Kawasaki ER-6F that'd done just over 100,000 km. A blown Stator was all that I had to replace in the motor in 18 years of ownership. Even the clutch plates are the original factory fitted ones, so that's my baseline expectation for reliability. In contrast, I recently bought an '08 Aprilia Shiver with 66,000 km & it's on its second engine. Admittedly it's had a harder life based on its looks, but the original engine didn't even last 2/3rds of the life of my Kawasaki's before it gave up the ghost & had to be replaced.
The wheel is thinner in the back.....just a 120mm width tyre, but the body is big and i feel they are dispropotional to each other....dont you feel so??
No.
I don't understand the " brakes are adequate for the power of the bike" thing. I hear it often in bike reviews. If I'm needing to go from 100km to 0 who the hell cares if the bike has 10hp or 100hp? I need the damage thing to stop. Not do a 0-100 time check. Either the brakes work well or they don't. Horsepower has nothing to do with it. Speed, weight, and traction are what is in play here. Not hp. Not GPS. Not seat height. Just will the dawn thing stop.
That’s a good point, I suppose what I mean is, you are not going to be tearing around at illegal speeds on this bike, so for the speeds it will do, the brakes are good
@@BikerTorque I see your point there. Didn't think of it that way. Appreciate your reply.
Any modern bike's brake are powerful enough to stop the bike. The reason sport bikes have big brakes is because they are designed to decelerate hard and accelerate hard repeatedly, within a short timeframe.
You can imagine a bike that goes 0-60 in 3 seconds with a top speed of 180 needs to be designed to handle more braking energy than a bike that goes 0-60 in 12 seconds with a top speed of 70.
No bike's brakes have to dissipate more power than the engine can produce.
@zachary3777 I understand that. Formula 1 brake demands are (my guess) a thousand times more demanding than a daily driver.
But the fact remains that if your sport bike and my put-put bike are both going 70 mph down the highway and we suddenly need to stop to avoid a moose in the road, the breaking needs are the same. In actual real world functionality having 20 hp or 200 hp doesn't matter. Both bikes need their brakes to function equally. So engine size or engine power, as a basis for determining how well the brakes work on a street bike is just hyperbole.
Beautiful bike, I might bite the bullet on the bullet. 😂
Lol, yep, bite the bullet. Thanks for watching
Seems they like to make fun of RE BIKES in actual RE have more prestigious feelsings rather than any other brands.
Not sure what you mean
Nice bike but underpowered. I'd be interested if they made it a 500.
Don’t think they’ll be bringing back a 500
Dial it back a bit, it's like watching an early morning infomercial
Really, that bad?
No leg guard?
No, not on this model in Australia
The classic looks nicer
I do love the look of the classic but it would be the Bullet for me
The LC is ugly and destroys the appearance of the dash IMO. Looks square and sharp and plastics and it often plays up too. Nice bike tho. If it could go with the Honda CB 350 it would be perfect, but it is limited to 110.. kmh and very slow acceleration for the last 10-15 kmh. Honda 350 can do 125 130 +
More character than the Honda though.
ടാങ്കിന്റെ മുകളിൽ ഗ്ലാസിൽ വെള്ളം വെച്ച് വൈബ്രേഷൻ കാണിക്ക് അണ്ണാ
Ok shall try that
Review the old bullet😂
Would love to if I can get me hands on one
9:30 Maybe stop putting your feet down to the ground as you’re stopping but still in motion, and you won’t bash your shins into the pegs? It’s not a bicycle. You can’t stop it with your feet. It’s a bad habit that any motorcycle instructor would have you end immediately.
To be honest, those shots were more for the camera
Classic 350 is a much better looking bike.
I really like the Classic also, but there is just something about the Bullet that appeals to me. Everyone will see and like something different I suppose. Thanks for watching
Why buy a new one? They are going for cheap prices on the used market. My BSA C-15 250 singles put out more HP and are 100 lbs lighter. They cruise at 60 mph 2 up all day smooth as silk. No electronics waiting to have a expensive failure. EFI makes bikes run hot 🔥🥵 as Hades and cooks the oil to ☠️. Once you replace all the cheap parts it's not a inexpensive bike no more. In the west it's a toy for weekend jaunts. The old 500 had more HP, hydraulic valve adjustment and a kicker. The older bike had more value for the money and lower servicing costs because you don't have to mess with the valve adjustment. All export 350 should have belt drive. Belts last 100,000+ and are cleaner and cheaper than a chain drive.
Pretty sure these use a synthetic or semi synthetic oil, doubt it would cook. Same engine as my Meteor, no issues so far after 3 years
@@BikerTorque That is still masking a symptom but not addressing the cause. Heat is an engine worst enemy. How many miles are on the bike? My Sportster with a carburetor runs cool in Florida in the summer 🌞⛱️. 200* oil temp. I have had my Sportster for 25 years and 400,000 miles on the original engine and 37 back tires and 17 front ones and 3 belts in 25 years. My daily driver as I don't have a car. No problem with engine heat.
.
👍
20 horse power is ridiculous and I'm not missing anything.
Each to their own I suppose
I love my bullet reborn ❤❤❤❤❤
Nice one, enjoy
