Sometimes change is what you need. Many desis have toxic parents and no way to rent out of their home town until they are 30+ (by then you formation years have past). Indian kids understand their brain has a value for the first time under a foreign professor/boss. All they ever got in india was belittling and pressure. Dont forget that most dont drive uber for more than a few years and it is worlds better to drive Uber in Canada than in India@@indianindian140

Dude you are comparing a small town in Canada with biggest city in India, a better comparison is Toronto to Mumbai

Thanks for your comment! The video's focus was to highlight how Windsor, despite being a small city, is still ahead in many areas and that even a developed city like Mumbai has a lot more to be done. Having lived in Mumbai all my life, I'm hopeful that we can progress and match up to the standards set by smaller towns like Windsor. Your support means a lot! Cheers!

As good as this video is and it highlights important points which would help people take better decisions it still wouldn't be able to cover everything. I have lived more than 10 years in the US and now going back. I have an pending I-140 petition which would be approved in next few months but I am not pursuing it means I will lose the opportunity for GC but I have no intention of coming back. Few of the reasons I decided to Move back to India or I wouldn't move to west
    1. Family. This is my biggest reason. I would like to be closer to my family.
    2. Feel like an outsider. Although I have lived here for 10 years but to date I don't feel at home. This country has given me a lot in terms of experiences ,money personal growth but not enough to call it home.
    3. My own Kids. Although the schools are great and you have all the facilities still you hear shootings in schools all the time. You would see students hitting their teachers. You would see Students swearing on their teachers. I would not want my kids to grow up in such school and I hope this disease doesn't spread to India.
    4. Woke culture. This is again one of my biggest reasons of moving back and is related to my kids only. To be able to identify your gender at age 9 and you can hide that from your own parents. I am sorry I will not take this. I am not against any LGBTQ+ and I would be perfectly fine if my kids tomorrow identify as one but I wouldn't want them to be immerse in that all the time and at a tender age. All the talk here is about that only.
    5. Old Age. You don't want to be old in a western country. My spouse's Uncle Aunty came here in the 70s but now they are also thinking of moving to India. Both their daughters are married and live far from them.
    6. Extreme Right Politics. This is the first time in US history that Whites are in a minority. This kind of demographic change would affect everyone in the long run. This is the reason you see Extreme Right Wing Politics on the rise. You hear Netherlands PM Danish PM speaking ill about particular community in their parliament. Sooner or later this will lead to some sort of friction between communities. We are already seeing that in France, UK etc.
    7. High Amount of Debt. The western countries run on Debt. This model has survived till date but now the Debt is unmanageable. Most of my American friends have at least 70 -80k in student loans and most of them don't have a salaried Job. The culture of just getting a Credit Card and living off it wouldn't last very long.
Those were my 2 cents. To anyone who wants to move to a Western Country be prepared for a Big cultural shock. Life is not easy here but it can be rewarding if you have the right attitude. Also it's very important at what age you move. If you are moving in your 20s your experience and expectations would be different from someone in their 30s. I would be different if you are moving as a student, PR, work Visa, with kids , with a spouse. So Please I would request to think very hard before making this move. Not to mention it can be an even harrowing experience if you move by taking Debt and are unable to find a job quickly over here. Getting Help is the most difficult thing here.

Bro i dont know what kind of comparison is this. Its so naive. Mumbai is one of the most populated cities in world. Kabhi new york city jaake dekho. Whole city stinks and har jagah gaanje ki badbu. Beggers all over. Compare Mumbai with NYC not windsor. Windsor me 6pm ke baad kutta bhi nahi dikhta. And Canada ka free education is a myth. You are paying heavy taxes. Free school ka kharcha aapke tax se he nikalta hai. Aur standard of education is debatable. Sirf english accent maarna aapke hisaab se high educational standards hai to you are fooling yourselves. Standard of education me a second grade kid in India has same IQ as a fifth grade kid in windsor. Ye sab videos aap 5 saal baad dekhoge to khud hasoge. Simple , if you want to get canadian citizenship and migrate to USA or other developed countries , it’s good idea. Else , Canada ke cost of living and standards ke hisaab se it’s a trap

Bro The reason I compared a small town like Windsor to Mumbai is to illustrate the vast differences in terms of cleanliness, traffic rules, and medical facilities. Windsor, being a developed town in a developed country, lacks adequate medical facilities, while you can find the best medical care in a small Indian town. On the other hand, there is a lot of room for improvement that a developed city like Mumbai can learn from windsor, such as cleanliness and following traffic rules.
Thanks for the comment & support ! Cheers

@@lenwinhoney well then it’s not an apple to apple comparison. I would compare Windsor with either Mysuru or Indore . Am sure those cities are at par with windsor.
