    You can pin this, sir.
    If you are going onsite in service based companies, you'll get 5.5k in hand in Canada. You can still manage to save around 2k plus and annually around 20L INR.
    Comparison with USA: earnings in US will be way higher than Canada. But Green card in US takes almost a decade whereas you can get citizenship in Canada in 3 to 5 years.

    The savings in Canada are higher comparative to India, but it might be on par with the value it has.

    Vancouver is actually the most expensive city in Canada. If we compare Vancouver with the most expensive city in India which can be Mumbai or Bangalore then sir I don't think that 2000 rupees per month will be enough for your lunch in India. and if we also consider the rent for Mumbai and Bangalore, please remember that its skyrocketing. So the amount that we are actually saving in canada along with the other benefits such as health factors or the work environment or even the quality of our surrounding as compared to what we get in India is a lot better. Reports have estimated how Canada, even though a costlier country than India, offers a higher standard of living for residents.

    • @SoumyajitBhattacharyay
      @SoumyajitBhattacharyay  Год назад +2

      In blr and hyd you can get rent for 18k a month tbh. Anyways the point was comparing cities with comparable job scene. Which in this case is Vancouver and hyd/blr.
      And do mind, i have taken a mid range number for the salary for Canada, but the lowest number for India at the same level.
      Tbh, the free health is a scam. And you will anyways invest in a private health insurance. Which you will do in India. The cost of which is far lesser in India in comparison to Vancouver and you can get all the facilities here.

    • @siddhantsingh9710
      @siddhantsingh9710 Год назад +1

      @@SoumyajitBhattacharyay It is true that one can get flat for 18k a month in blr/mumbai/hyd but the space that we get with that amount of rent is very less, a fact about India that no one can change and is true to its core. Space and Quality of Life is a very big issue and very important factor which is to be considered before moving to a new place/country/city. Let's also consider cities like waterloo, Ontario, Edmonton, Halifax etc. which are not so expensive but again the quality of life and space is not compromised. Honestly, moving into a new city/country is a big decision and a lot of factors are to be considered.
      It should be stated again that the average salary in Canada vs. India is way higher and more tailored to meet living costs. Indian salaries are nowhere as proportionate to rising inflation and costs of living as average earnings in Canada.
      Canada does have a higher cost of living. However, considerably higher salaries and purchasing power ensure that living standards are also on the higher side here.
      However, I agree with few of your points and your take on this as well. Overall, a very Informative video.

    • @SoumyajitBhattacharyay
      @SoumyajitBhattacharyay  Год назад +6

      Not true in Mumbai you won't get. But in hyd and blr you will get very good apartments in gated societies with amazing amenities. You can look up societies like
      My home Vihanga, Golf edge etc.
      To be honest for software engineering Canada does not have a high salary with respect to taxes and cost of living taken into consideration.
      If you simply take a look , as pointed 200K is the average sde 2 salary there in a good faang level company, how ever, in India i had considered the entry level sde 2 salary as 55 Lakh. It can go as high as 80 lakh. So tbh, from a savings POV, you will be at an equal pegging.
      Rest this video is not and should not be the only source to make the decision to move. But should be considered as one factor.
      Rest factors are very subjective in nature and can not be quantified and hence no point in making the video on them.. they should be evaluated by every individual
