Yr i am in Canada for 4 years. I have a 7 year old son. I would not agree with the education point. Though the school is public (free), the education is not at par with India/ Us. You need to enroll for extra classes and each class costs (approx 1000- 3000 cad) more than the annual fee you pay in India for schools. Those classes in India are much cheaper.
Another problem in the education system is that they are asking a boy in grade 2-3 if he is comfortable being a boy or wants to be a girl. We parents have no control over that.

US has higher quality of immigrants than Canada. That's just a fact. It might seem that their system is tough to navigate but they choose legal immigrants very carefully. They do not adjudicate more than 7% green card applications from one country of birth and that keeps demographics of the country more diverse. Canada on the other hand is becoming next Punjab which is ridiculous.

    • @shaivamuthaiya2015
      @shaivamuthaiya2015 19 дней назад

True, Canada is basically for failed US immigrants. I remember back in 2005, the PR was alot easier, but no one wanted to go to this freezing country. After people realized USA is not letting everyone in they started going to canada. The immigrants of today are very different from people who immigrated in the 1960s. These days the youth are being driven in by instagram reels and music videos, thinking they can live some gangsta life with white women in canada.

They are trying to use their influencer status to scam as many people as possible by luring them into real estate. Anyways their days are numbered and no one with a sane mind would buy any real estate in canada at these prices. Once people realize their scams and there is no money here they are the first ones to leave Canada

    Some cons of your pros:
Etiquettes - Just walk to some ttc subway station and experience them yourselves. Those good behaviours that you talk about are fading away fast. Thats why you need car for safety and for that you need good income.
No stepping on private property - that is why 120 people were arrested in Ontario itself for stealing cars from private properties and most them youngsters. The cars are stolen from private property every 5 min.
Diversity in cultures - the real flavour of this will be realised when economy degrades further. now it is all goodie goodie
Parents - if your parents have chronic diseases, all the best then inviting them in Canada.
Drive throughs - 🤣 its not even a valid enough reason to be considered. This is a solution for a problem which is not present in India.
Work/ life balance - agreed but for that you need to have a job first and then that job should be stable permanent. If you are in constant fear of getting laid off then all the best for that work life balance.
Childcare and maternity benefits: this is good here but again depends on economic conditions. If economy is good, this will stay. There will be breaking point beyond which govt will not be able to service this.
Healthcare - MRI is free but slot not available for a year.
Citizenship: good benefit for those immigrants who come from countries which allow dual citizenship. Else this is a con in a scenario when economy degrades and exchange rate falls.
Drugs and homelessness: well this is not a pro but this alone can offset all the pros above if not controlled or stopped.
Food: you will get every cuisine but one need to be rich to experience that regularly. It is not for middle class who wants to be homeowners in Canada.

The biggest con is the emergency healthcare, and one day or other everyone is going to go to emergency care maybe for ourselves or with family…. So yes that one con, that will make everyone who stays here to regret the decision…. I think you need to educate yourself a little bit more about the education system in canada. You’ll realise it when your son starts school. Our thought process about education was the same as yours, but was quickly shattered as our daughter started going to school. We’ve now taken her out of the public schools system and have to send her to private school, and boy is there a difference!!! If you think education is the best gift you can give your child, please read up more about the Canadian education system and ask some people who you’ve not asked before to broaden your perspective :)

@@CanadaCoupleVlogsin Canada, healthcare is free at the point of use. That is the definition of universal healthcare in Canada. It means it's not free. It is paid through taxes. You can't even compare healthcare in the US to Canada because of how accessible it is in the states. If you want to do a deep dive into how low the taxes are in the US and add insurance premiums to it to make it a roughly equivalent comparison to Canada, that will help you. Otherwise, ignorance is bliss.

Hello Guys!! I have been following your videos since you guys started your Canadian Journey. This is my first comment though..😇!!
I along with my wife and 1.5 year old kid moved to Canada in late 2022. By God's grace we have been lucky to find a good job and settle with good life-style within a year. My only concern is - despite of free education I have been hearing only negative information/things about Quality of Education & gender identification issues in Canadian School environment.
Can you please share your own new video or maybe do a Podcast with someone who migrated here when their children were really young (like 2/3 year old) & studied here for good 10-12 years & how was their actual real life experience with education system compared to India/US? I am sorry If you already have a podcast with someone like this and I have missed it, you may please share me the link. Thanks!!!

    My observation:
    1) Basic etiquettes: Once a Canadian girl was asked to wait in line by security guard who was of Asian origin, she shouted at bus station "go back to your own damn country". and similar racist things I have observed multiple times.
    2) Immigrants: Really?? old immigrants DO NOT want new immigrants please watch Canadian news and real interviews.
    3) Child related: I am not sure if you are familiar with PRIDE thingy that is just being feed to young children at school where it is told that you don't know you are a boy or girl until you are adult. I mean this is not ok in my opinion.
In 5:52 minutes I am leaving because it appears that you are trying to find reasons only to justify your beliefs and I believe Air quality is a good reason. What will one do of highway when driving car will be expensive. I was in Canada and came to know many areas are not safe in downtown of the city at night even for male so seems like any other part of the world to me.
Canada is beautiful and majority people are nice but please do not misguide innocent Indian students and new comers. Best thing about Canada was low interest rate for loans and now even that thing is not there and people cannot buy homes anymore.
