A problem is that some of series 2000 books in my collection are in absolute shit condition because I collected those separately, but it's only 2 or 3 and I could get replacements easily.

The powerful way i got into goosebumps is by discovering the books through the ones in the school library at age 10 and becoming obsessed with them for an unclear amount of time. I gotta reread some for the nostalgia, good video

Considering you don't like "Ghost Beach", you might have some issues with "The Curse Of Camp Cold Lake", since the main antagonist is a ghost that constantly follows the main character around, wanting to be her "buddy". She also wants the main character dead, but then that's expected. I'm actually writing a fic now about the ghost returning the next summer, and taking a new approach to finding a buddy. She befriends a shy girl who's not very good at making friends and decides to gain her trust. Sadly, her bunkies have heard enough stories to let her know the truth, so the only way the ghost can get her buddy is to have the girl consciously choose to die, especially as last time she killed a camper, the girl refused to be her buddy. Yeah, I like the book. But I also liked "Ghost Beach" because I felt sorry for the Sadler ghost kids. It wasn't their fault they couldn't survive that winter.

I'm starting to read these goosebumps books and absolutely love them. I've read at least 7\8 books so far, practically a book a day! They are so easy to read. I never read these books before when I was kid but I've read 10/11 books of fear street. They are just as good but I just love how these books have a different monster or theme. High five!!! I was struggling to learn how to read in the 2nd grade when I received my first Goosebumps book. I was reading one every day or two by the end of that year and by the 5th grade I was reading at a 12th grade level. I owe a lot to those little books.
I'm still collecting the original 62, and I don't have all of them (I don't even have The Haunted Mask yet) but between the ones I have, Egg Monsters From Mars is probably my favorite. But I also agree with Attack of the Mutant as number one, that book was really good!

I grew up with Goosebumps. Some of my favorite stories as a kid. If I ever have kids? I am getting them to read these books because they are great, and R.L Stine is amazing.

Goosebumps. Ah. The memories. Werewolf of Fever Swamp is number one for me. Set in the swamps of Florida, perhaps. But Will's character intrigued me. That, and my home town is pretty much rural. Lol. Definitely my top number one. Number two would have to be Mask and then Basement. :).

currently trying to complete my set of the original 62. I'm currently missing #9, #15, #33, #38, #46, #53, #59, #61 and #62. I have about 2-3 places I've looked and I've picked up stacks of about 15-20 books at one time, even found Slappy's Nightmare for $3. My personal favourite is #56 camp cold lake, my copy has the bookmark and not the cards in it.

Yeah, I like the book. But I also liked "Ghost Beach" because I felt sorry for the Sadler ghost kids. It wasn't their fault they couldn't survive that winter.

I'm starting to read these goosebumps books and absolutely love them. I've read at least 7\8 books so far, practically a book a day! They are so easy to read. I never read these books before when I was kid but I've read 10/11 books of fear street. They are just as good but I just love how these books have a different monster or theme. High five!!! I'm planning on reading every single one, even the ones you didn't like it finished. I'm a totally a RL stone\goosebumps fan. Plus continuing reading the other goosebumps that are newer!!

Do you still read Goosebump books? Are the newer ones any good? I know there are tons of different versions of them out. Though I've never checked any out as I just don't like the cover art of the newer Goosebump books. While I love the artwork done in the original series.

I was struggling to learn how to read in the 2nd grade when I received my first Goosebumps book. I was reading one every day or two by the end of that year and by the 5th grade I was reading at a 12th grade level. I owe a lot to those little books.
I'm still collecting the original 62, and I don't have all of them (I don't even have The Haunted Mask yet) but between the ones I have, Egg Monsters From Mars is probably my favorite. But I also agree with Attack of the Mutant as number one, that book was really good!

Goosebumps. Ah. The memories. Werewolf of Fever Swamp is number one for me. Set in the swamps of Florida, perhaps. But Will's character intrigued me. That, and my home town is pretty much rural. Lol. Definitely my top number one. Number two would have to be Mask and then Basement. :).

some reprints. Also a ton of DVDs, some series 2000 and 2 posters. Also the newer books like most wanted and Horrorland and more. Also have you read Monster Blood 4 yet. If you had was it good.
currently trying to complete my set of the original 62. I'm currently missing #9, #15, #33, #38, #46, #53, #59, #61 and #62. I have about 2-3 places I've looked and I've picked up stacks of about 15-20 books at one time, even found Slappy's Nightmare for $3. My personal favourite is #56 camp cold lake, my copy has the bookmark and not the cards in it.
