- These are 25 movie recommendations for 10 types of readers (and everyone else in between, really)!
As my twitter bio says, stories bring me to life. And that means stories in all forms. So in addition to reading, I also enjoy watching movies. I always see people asking for recommendations, so I thought I’d make this video. This video is 100% scripted I hope you don’t mind. It’s just that there was no way I could tell you what a movie is about in a concise way if I didn’t think about it, write it down, and then proceed to read it aloud. I didn’t want to film this forever and I didn’t want to edit forever, so I hope you’re pleased. Enjoy :)

I just wanted to say that, of course, there are a lot of films and movies out there and I’ve only seen a small percentage, but my hopes in curating this list was that I’d recommend movies that the booktube community may have not heard of or given a chance yet. With that said, there’ll probably be a few that everyone has watched, but I just couldn’t resist adding it to the video.
You may have noticed, I’m not going over trigger warnings, so if you’re a person who needs those, please do your homework before attempting to watch any of these films. Also, I recommend not watching the trailers to these movies. Just go straight into the movie, it’s better that way. Please trust me. Hopefully you agree!
Lastly, you will notice a complete lack of LGBTQIA+ movies and that’s just because I’ve watched hardly any. If you would like to help this video be more diverse, please leave LGBTQIA+ movie recommendations in the comments. Please, please, please! Thank you!

Gah, you should never have to apologise for liking a kids movie. Really, I think as a whole, kids movies just do it better.
Love the Rush Hour moves and liked Dodgeball! It's kind of sad movie studios these days don't focus on comedies as much as big budget action flicks. I love me a good comedy.
The Pursuit of Happyness was inspiring for me too!
My female friend showed me Burlesque recently, and I'm really glad she did. It's probably not a movie I would have watched on my own.

omg yes, It's very sad we don't get comedies like that anymore. Especially nowadays when we all need a laugh or two. I'll add Time to my tbw!
Unfortunately, I don't watch horror because it's too scary for me, but I do like a good action movie, although I don't watch them often.
