I literally fall asleep, wake up watch a bit more, fall asleep in repeat to these videos, your voice is just so lovely 🥰 then i watch what I’ve missed from my history 😆 im desperate to lighten my dark hair but terrified after watching these!!!
I remember when I felt bored and unhappy with myself, I impulsively felt the need to change my hair and instead of loving my hair and loving myself, ended up damaging it. If you really care about your hair, invest in a good stylist who will take care of you. I stopped chemically coloring my hair and learned to just love what I have and I love who I am too now and feel less desire to change it. I just maintain the health now because... I love my long hair. I've started to Henna it now too so I can't change it impulsively now. But, my hair is now healthy and far down my back.
I'm so glad to hear you're using Henna! Are you using a tinted one or clear for the shine? Do you find your hair is healthier after using it?! I love the shine and my hair feels great !
The part about the comb, using it straight down for an even line, when cutting your hair is such a neat tip! Wish I knew that when I asked my mom to give me a bob a couple months ago. She did really well, but it was a bit uneven. Though I usually tuck my hair behind my ear or up in a pony so no one but me noticed it haha! If I give myself another trim at home, Im going to try this out (and if its still uneven, Ill keep it a pony tail until I need both a trim and shave, as I have an undercut).
Right? In 2021, I almost died, and the trauma made about 80% of my hair fall out, it's taken until now to get it to be at a place where I don't cry every time I look in a mirror. It's just hair, but if these people lost it and didn't know if/when it would grow back, they wouldn't be so cavalier about it. Hope your stress levels improve 🙃
@@abigailsaraI mean, my hair was fully destroyed by one of my adventures. Came out in clumps, the whole nine yards. I still dye and color my hair, with the mindset that “it’s just hair” because to me, it *is* just hair. When my hair fell out I wore so many wigs in all different styles. Different people react to things differently. That’s ok. To a lot of people, hair IS just hair.
2:24 So... since it's not what she thought it would be ... it's a fail. But from how to do your hair yourself and all... it's a 100%win! It was saturated well enough, it's not patch at all. It blends nicely along the lines where the hair is more porous. Hope I spelled that right. And so it's beautiful. And! She has nice hair. It looked dead in the beginning.. but with the colour... niiiice
I loved the purple with silver hints on the first one even though she said it’s blue I think the color on the second gal’s would have been even better on her dark hair but the dark burgundy parts were so pretty. The last girl should have kept her hair at the first cut. It looked amazing on her. Now I feel like she needs to get a professional pickie cut done or buzz her hair off. Get the cut even at least😂 Have a happy weekend HB!
Even if the color wasn't what the 1st girl was expecting, it came out really pretty! The 2nd girl looks great in that deeper red color, and "cherry cola" hair is trending rn. They all would've benefited from direct dyes in their hair history- no need for damaging developer unless you're going lighter. 'Color depositing conditioner' is my fave type of direct dye, they even make them for brunettes.
Thank you Hair Buddha for the awesome way you take the time to explain practical and useful tips for all of your viewers! Can you explain what you mean when you say curly hair is “flat”? I have curly, dry hair and would like to get products that help with moisture 😊
You should re acted to people do henna. I love your channel. I'm a natural red head. That grew her natural out for a year and dyed it 4 times in 2 months. I think I had a mid life crazy 😂. Thanks for the tips.
I’m glad you feel that way. But my crown changes every couple of months and it’s fantastic. You can’t judge others on these fail videos, they are people that have failed. There are millions of us who know what we’re doing and have very little to no damage. The smart ones know when to never never cut their hair. 😂
I would love if you would do a Q & A for us. Mine is I have a little gray around my temples and my part, I color lightest Auburn in the summer and 2 shades darker in winter. How do I match the gray area with the rest because it comes out too light.
7:31 "She is pink." Well, her cheeks are pink! I think she doesn't know what pink is. Like...she is to young to know the singer? Cotton candy pink? This is a colour we call wine red, but on a lighter side. Burgundy!? Is that the English term? It's a light burgundy. But dry it's even lighter
Awww first girl was so upset. You can tell in her voice shes really sad. I too think she looks good but it is shocking for her when she was expecting lavender
These frizzy hair dry just needs a few drops of oil on the damp hair then John Frieda secret agent AFTER straightening it or tong curling. Then cut it if you still don’t like it.

I find myself yelling at my phone, while watching this video, these girls need to be educated. Or maybe somebody should just give them money so they could go to a salon. It's both frustrating and heartbreaking to watch them.

How do people feel about color shampoo? I'm 40, but I've been graying since I was 10 so. My mom started coloring my hair to stop kids from making fun of me. I was about 14 when I took over doing it for myself and would color it every couple of months to cover the gray. Last year I noticed that my bangs would turn orange after a few weeks and I'm a once a week wash kinda gal. It's curly and dry. Well the fact that it was turning red told me that I grayed in streaks, which I think is pretty awesome. I tried just dying the front of it red for a while and wound up giving up. It would turn pink after a couple washes. It was so dry and miserable I decided to try dye shampoo. I figured it was gentler. I actually frikkin love it. The instructions say leave it for 20 mins, but I usually leave it for a couple hours, using a showercap. I do leave conditioner in for an hour or two with a shower cap, but I am really digging it. It's not the blue black that I prefer, but it works. I usually only shampoo on dye days, following up with a rice water bar soap and the rest of the time I just cleanse with conditioner. A lot of people don't realize that most conditioners have a cleanser in them anyway. So I wash with the dye shampoo about once a month and condition the rest of the time. The brand is some generic sounding Asian name, but I got it on Amazon for like $20. I've used it for about six months and really love it.
You could try a cowash if it's really dry and doesn't retain any moisture. Also use a bonnet when you sleep it'll help with it becoming dry too. Color shampoos can work fine just depends on the color you get. You could try a color and see how it goes that way you don't keep drying it out dying it. Hope this helps!

Love how henna makes hair feel and look amazing, having said that,I’ve not used it for years as found it it doesn’t cover grey 🫤
The facial expression you make at the beginning of the first video already makes me laugh. 🤣

I love purple but use a more red based purple so it won't get that blue look n fades prettier.
