Kenwood DPX-5000BT Double DIN Car Radio Review

I bought the Kenwood DPX-5000BT Double DIN Car Radio to replace the VW radio in my Passat. The Kenwood DPX-5000BT features CD/Radio/USB/Aux/Bluetooth connections so it has every input you could need.
Main downsides I've found are that the display is very hard to see during daylight hours, bluetooth connection is patchy and track display can be frustrating.

I totally agree. I bought 3 years and have had nothing but grief with using the controls.

The switching music buttons are OK placed. You drive on the wrong side :)))))

What double din headunit would you recommend that isn't too expensive?

It really depends what you're looking for in terms of features. My other car has a Kenwood DMX5020 which is pretty good but cost around £300 in UK.
