    Damn...that's a sweet looking fish. I'm gonna have to get a couple of "Peacock Gudgeons" when I begin stocking my tank with fish.

    One of the fish I'm looking at for my 20gal community tank. Only issue, would they go after shrimp?

      Thats a really good question, and I appreciate you bringing that up. I wish I had mentioned this in the video. I DO think it would go after shrimp its behavior seems like it would but if you have a super density of plants in the tank creating many hiding spots for shrimp I think you would see minimal casualties. But when the gudgeon hits its max size it could probably do some more severe damage if it gets ahold of one

    Would you recommend a small group of these with Sparkling Gouramies in a 20 gal heavily planted tank?

      I think it would work out, their may be a little bit of bickering at first but in a densely planted tank, you should be good, once territories are established i think they will get along just fine!😁 thanks for checking out the video!
