As a Sony shooter... Sony has to be the most boring brand on the planet after using it for works for years. They are clinical and solid. Fun are RicohGR3,Fuji,NikonZf,Leica. Sony cameras are amazing. But fun? Hell no.
"Boring camera" is definitely a take that if find ridiculous. If you're working and making money the last thing you want your gear to be is "exciting". I mean that in the sense of it needs to get the job done with a high hit rate and great consistency. It's a tool. when was the last time I needed a "fun" hammer? what makes the camera fun is the user and how you decide to use it. It's not the tools fault, its the user and their creativity.
I love my A7cii, which is basically a mini A7iv. Amazing looking video and so easy to use and top notch quality. 33MP seems like the sweet spot too. I also love my Fujifilm x-t30 ii for photos, but it’s not used as heavily as my Sony cams. I personally love the utilitarian design of Sony cameras.
Sony is as boring as you make it. Use it as a adapter machine throw vintage glass on it all the time yeah its fun. Slap the latest 2000 dollar lens on it yeah it become idiot proof.
LOL actually true, ive got a a7iv and bought a vivitar 28-105mm series 1 lens from 1985 on the flea market for 40€ and its not sharp but the fun gets me.
I would love to get one, however these cameras are out of my budget, love the format of the video, very clean video, and love to see more, just one thing, I would love to see some cameras that cost about 1k not including lenses (I know they cost an arm and a leg)
Sony is VERY boring. I like your channel tons and you’re usually pretty on point but Sony is way too clinical and sterile both in design, UI, and results. That’s not a bad thing if it’s what you’re looking for and lots of people are but it’s sterile as hell.
Sony's ...boring? I find the "fun" cameras (I come from Fuji) are just frustrating. I want to take nice shots, I don't want to fidget with buttons and menus. On my Sony a7rV I have 4 dials I use without looking at them (the a7iii wasn't this good), the camera is never in my way, but Fuji's... Fuji's camera are *beautiful*, absolutely, but I wouldn't say they're fun
The Fujifilm X100VI and the Leica M9 I've recently made videos about are fun for me, both have an optical viewfinder and the Leica is manual focus only. That's a very different photography experience than my sony offers, and to me it's fun. Also, I love the creative challenge of having a fixed lens on the X100VI. I absolutely agree though, the sony is never in my way, while a manual focus only leica might be in your way quite a lot. It really just depends on if you're taking photos to get the shot, or taking photos for fun.

They are the Toyota Camry of systems. Turn the key, you will absolutely get from A-B. For video, it's all I can ask for or want. Stills? I have Fuji.
Also, reeeeeeee 🐸
100% I own the A7iv, the s5 and a xt3 My nickname for the A7iv is the donkey

After 155k shutter count and no idea how many hours with my a7iv, all i can say this camera is boring but is perfect.
I completely agree!!!
I LOVE my a7iv
A7V will probably be released next year. Used A7IVs with low shutter counts will be cheap 😊

The A7CII looks awesome, but the lack of a second card slot is a dealbreaker for me 😅

Seems like nowadays the camera used to photograph products are better than the products being photographed

Also Hybrid or dedicated either to video or photography?
the a7iv is a beast no question
Might be a boring camera but you still managed to make an interesting video about it!
I appreciate it!!
Pls do a updated fujifilm simulations video 🙏

That's exactly what I say in the video 😄 It's insanely boring, but it's just perfect in every way. (But yeah the title might be too confusing)
❤

I would love to buy this camera but it's just too expensive for me to afford it. But it makes me want to save up money to afford it
.
It's definitely worth saving up for!
Was the video title changed? 😂
Yeah haha, the one before that was too confusing 😅
That damn side hinged flippy, flappy rear screen though … too slow, conspicuous and nearly doubles the width of the camera.
Nooo that's the best thing about the camera!
dude i randomly got unsubsrcribed from your channel no wonder why i havent heard of you lol.
Damn YT doing me dirty
