After multiple years of non-qualifications for the Eurovision Final, Croatia's Let 3 broke the curse last year with "Mama ŠČ!" that not only qualified for the Final but finished 13th overall giving the country its best result since 2017.
The country's Eurovision spirit is back and the preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 are at full speed.

Never felt this hyped up for Croatia before. This ticks all the boxes for me, it only needs a convincing live performance and it's off for Malmo. And contrary to Mama SC that was considered a dark horse for qualifying, this has so much more chances of making even the Top-10. Croatia, you have one simple job.

We know we have one job ....but its actually hard to go against those who dont even really watch ESC and vote for whatever. 2023 was fortunately a different story and probably just because Let 3 has a name and because the favourite - the etno song failed with the staging. I personally would prohibit those who dont care about ESC to vote at all 😅😅
Yeah but those old Geezers on Dora would probably chose something else. Well, if Mama ŠC passed last year, maybe this song have chance, i truly hope it does.

And to think, he was only in reserve. Originally, Zsa Zsa was supposed to compete, but she withdrew from the competition just last week and he was brought on as the first reserve. I've no idea what tone-deaf person put him in the reserve to begin with, but if Zsa Zsa didn't withdraw, we'd never know this song even exists. And it's the best one in Dora!

Baby Lasagna has to go to ESC, we must give him a chance. Because he can get a TOP 10 result this year for us, after 23 years. And I say this as big Let 3 fan. And HRT, SHAME ON YOU. This was a backup entry, and for example, Mario Battifiaca&Robert Ferlin (Vodu piti,trizan biti) are in because they have big,big relations with HRT as their presenters. This is a disgrace of this year's Dora. But overall,quality this year is much better than last couple of years.

Ma znaš šta bi tribalo napravit. Objavit sve pisme pa da ljudi preko ankete neke glasaju za pisme i tko ima najviše glasova ide u finale na Dori i onda izaberemo nešto. Mislim da bi tako bilo najbolje i ako bi se žalili onda bi mogli sami sebe kriviti, ali je opet nekako više fer ako publika glasa pa kako ispadne.
@@Niki91-HR Naravno,to bi bilo najbolje i ja se tu 100% slažem. Samo bojim se da to kod nas ne bude zaživjelo. Jer stvarno je nevjerojatno da ovakva stvar s potencijalom bude rezerva, a primjera radi, ova dvojica budu unutra jer su HRT-ovi igrači i to s pjesmom koja je smeće. I zato baš navijam da "rezerva" Baby Lazagna ode u Švedsku. Da mi publika pokažemo HRT-u kako zapravo imaju "ukusa" za biranje pjesama. Jer ovo s pravim scenskim nastupom može daleko. Samo se nadam da ga na Dori žiri neće zeznuti u tolikoj mjeri da ga ni publika više ne spasi. Ali živi bili pa vidjeli.😃

@@Niki91-HR problem je u tome što bi onda svaka šuša gurala svoje zavijanje, a neki, makar minimalni kriteriji ipak moraju postojati. Srećom pa na 'rt-u ne pretjeruju sa guranjem svojih, ali sam siguran da je zha zha imala puno bolju i kvalitetniju pjesmu od et-a ili one 'baby, baby' koja je reciklirala 'sexy cool' od divasica.

I am a Croat but tbh didnt even know the songs are already released. Never heard of that artist either. But to be honest I dont know the majority of people who will participate on Dora. XD It feels like every year more and more newcomers or potential newcomers are applying to Dora. Some of them though werent bad, even if the songs may not be the best option for ESC but maybe there is a hope for our music market.
The instrumental is actually good but I actually like it more when our artists sing in croatian. The songs sound more powerful compared to English.
