    Grasso holds a belt, having not successfully won the defense of that belt. Not having them fight again, to declare an actual winner, is unfair to BOTH of the fighters. Period.

    Dude you were on point with this one. I agree with the point you made that the 2nd fight was an opportunity for the bullet to win back the belt, and she didn't. So no need for another fight.

    You are so right. Obviously White is only thinking about money. Grasso has already beat Shevchenko two times in a row. Once to become the champion on a submission and then a second time on points. Now Grasso may be required to beat her one more time. Three times? Why? And on the flip side Shevchenko gets three chances: 1) Defend the belt; 2) Try a second time to regain'; and 3) Try a third time to regain. That's crazy. If Grasso were to lose in a third fight will she also get two more tries to regain?

    • @MMAraccoon
      @MMAraccoon  4 месяца назад

      I would hope if she loses the next one (which she might, it's a close rivalry) they'd do a quadrillogy à la Moreno-Figgy but then that's not really fair to the division and contenders like Fiorot, Blanchfield, even Zhang Weili if she beats Yan!

    Whoever says the title of this video is mentally restarted (at least with fight IQ) the last fight was a draw/ robbery. The score cards had to literally have no basis in reality to get Grasso the draw vs loving the title outright. Dana commented for weeks, that’s what a 10-8 looks like to real 10-8s

    Valentina was definitely NOT robbed. I think the 4th round was a draw and each fighter won 2 rounds each, so I think a tie was fair. It's just that 10/8 score that keeps people talking, but Valentina did NOT win that fight. If I had to pick a winner, it would be Grasso.

      @@ryan010able Alexa hit Val with 262 times lol Val merely 199 that's embarrassing for a supposedly "champion". Val had 0 knockdowns that's embarrassing for a supposedly "favorite". Alexa was very close for a submission. Val had more ground "control" of course all she did was try to go for a submission but she was not even close to achieving it, Alexa is too tough and she easily escape from any submission. Overall for all the "talk" and "hype" Val gets, it was an embarrassing fight for Valentina.

    Grasso lost the fight plain and simple. She lost rounds 1,3, and 4 and arguably 5. I’m sick of people underwhelming Valentina. This trilogy must happen and hopefully, Valentina seals the deal and wins definitely by finishing her. She broke her thumb in round 1 and hadn’t it not been for that, she would’ve probably submitted Alexa in round 3.

    • @MMAraccoon
      @MMAraccoon  7 месяцев назад

      Grasso also broke her hand in the first round! And even if Val wins the next one there's gonna have to be a fourth to settle it, which as I mention in the video is one of the reasons I am against having a trilogy

      I disagree,Grasso Won both fights and I can understand the fact that as a Schevchenko loving supporter you can't deal with the fact that Valentina isn't invincible...her two loses against Nunes and her two loses now against Grasso proves it...because She Lost the Fight!!
      Alexa faught all the Rounds with a broken hand and she never cried about it,in fact she went thrue a surgical procedure sooner than Valentina.."if she ever did"...So,please don't feel Bad about Valentina she is a Great Fighters that was beaten by a better fighter..ALEXA GRASSO 🤼‍♀️👑and She's the World Champion🥇 🏆💰💶💵Baby!!😉

    Look,no matter who you or I believe won what round the judges scored it for Val if Bell doesn’t screw her. There’s no going home and scoring it in slow motion. In real time the judges thought Val won. Mike Bell purposely gave a 10-8 to make sure Grasso left with the belt. There’s no way you don’t run that back. Val has owned this division and she most definitely deserves a rematch. So screw her out of a win with the worst 10-8 round ever and then tell her you’re not gonna give her another chance to get the belt that she held forever and should hold right now back? That makes zero sense. Grasso was so gassed in the 5th. If Val doesn’t go for that takedown she wins easily. Also,the knockdown wasn’t that serious. Yes,it was a good shot but Val was also off balance and popped right back up. The knees didn’t hurt her either. She took limited damage there. You took all that time to explain this and I just showed you how 2 people can watch the same thing and see it differently. Val got robbed.

    • @MMAraccoon
      @MMAraccoon  8 месяцев назад +7

      you're allowed to interpret the fight how you want! this is just my interpretation. however I think you're reaching pretty hard when you say a knockdown that sent her flying across the octagon and knees that hurt her so bad she tried to get the fight stopped didn't hurt her at all
