I had an Irish woman tell me that the Irish supported the Palestinians because of their occupation by the Brits for 800 years. But she was astonished when i pointed out that the Jews can trace their lineage back over 3000 years to Israel. As for being occupied by the Brits. Well hundreds of thousands of Irishmen served and fought in the Brit army for centuries. Far far more than ever fought and died in the Irish rising and war of independence. PM of Ireland in 1945 even signed the book of condolence when Hitler killed himself. Two of the top Nazis, Skorzeny and Albert Follens were allowed to settle there after the war. And Dan Breen, a iconic and renowned IRA fighter against the Brits in the war of Independence, had photos of Hitler and Himmler in his living room and on the date of Hitlers birthday, sent his best wishes to Hitler.

British Mandate of Palestine included today Jordan, Israel, Gaza and West Bank, the original discussion after WWI was to divide the country in two, Jordan would be for the Arabs and Israel, Gaza and West Bank for the Jewish population, the Arab people rioted, and so Jordan was create as a country but the British back down and restricted Jewish Migration to the area.

Irish parliament openly supports Palestinian hamas. Well, I hope and pray hundreds and thousands of Palestinians make Ireland their home forever, never leave, bring your familes from gaza to join you. 70% have never worked and expect aid, then Treasure Ireland's the place for you.

Sinwar himself said the Gazans including children are a necessary sacrifice as martyrs in the war against Israel and the more the better. Many Palestinian mothers and grandmothers have openly said on video they would happily sacrifice their children for Islam. So they along with Hamas seem to have a similar view of their children being completely expendable which is utterly grotesque. The Western view that children are precious and should be protected doesn't seem to gel in Islam, nor the rest of the Arab states. Why haven't Arab states helped evacuate the children?

As an Irishman, I was totally ashamed of the way the Irish team behaved. Ireland should now be banned from international basketball competition until every player is too old to play, perhaps 15 years.

I am Irish and I am horrified and saddened by the way the Irish government and a large section of its population blindly support the evil cult Hamas and pro Palestine demo .Am Yisrael Chai. in the 80s Dr Ben Brisco was the first Jewish Lord Mayer of Dublin and a member of the Irish Parliament and represented his constituency with great gusto . also Dublin in the 70s 80s had a large Jewish community sadly those numbers have dwindled in recent years . My house will always be a Corrie Ten Boom house , keep strong my friends in the IDF and in the nation of Isreal.

I’m an Irish person, born and reared here, but I fully support the nation of Israel. My father, who was born in 1921, loved the Jewish people. The generation after have been poisoned by Sinn Fein/IRA who have always promoted the Arab narrative, because of their links to the PLO in the 1970’s. Ignorance is destroying Ireland - and the majority are completely ignorant of Scripture (which opens them up to all sorts of notions). There are many people throughout Ireland who stand with Israel, so do not tar us all with the broad brush.
