I'm back again! I took a day off of school to go see some sirens and since I'm a stubborn idiot, I decided to try and film this thunderbolt. It has a history of failing for tests, but I went ahead and took the risk of recording it and it paid off! At 10:00 I heard a few sirens activate in the distance, so by 10:04 I was getting pretty scared that I had a failure on my hands. Then out of the blue, the thunderbolt roared to life and the rest is history. It was a jumpscare and a half but at least it activated! This siren received a chopper swap in 2020(?), yet it seems to have dropped an entire chopper level since the last time it was recorded functioning in 2011.
Godspeed to the EMTs in the ambulance that passed by in the end of the video. I pray that their patient(s) recieved the help they needed.
