Those pictures at the food stand are incredible ! Love the vibes. I feel so honoured my picture caught your eye on Instagram (my reflection on the train), I am still a beginner hobbyist and not fully comfortable with posting pictures online
When I first got into photography, videos featuring minimal setups and/or cheap cameras were everything to me! After all, if pro photographers could get incredible shots on those then I knew it was possible to get some on my measly starter camera. Still love videos like that today, so do more of those :)
Great video and superior pictures again! Thanks for not using the 360 camera! So much more enjoyable in this old school way! I really love to watch these videos. Love to see how different focal lengths work on the streets! 35mm looks the king of the street-photography.
great video for a heavy study session break 🙏🏻❤️ I’m curious about how you customized the buttons and dials on your sony, will you ever make a video about that?❤
I would love to see you try using a t3i. I have had terrible experience in low light but maybe the right lense would help. And it's a camera that a lot people used to start with
FYI the Sigma 35mm f2 for Sony FE mount is affordable, built out of metal like a tank, and has a wonderful characterful rendition. It's much smaller and lighter than f1.4 models - give it a try if you are looking for a 35
Love your streets videos and your posting of the settings !! Maybe try a 50mm lens ? Not a GM - thats a little unrealistic for amateurs. I always hear that the 50 is perfect for street, but never see any vids of it. Thats a lens you might consider among the other suggestions ppl hopefuly come up with.
How about throwing some vintage glass on your a74. I've got a Helios-44 58mm that's got a unique aesthetic that would be really interesting to you use in some of these night Street photography vids
Wow! Very nice work. I too love to shoot at night in the rain. Problem is I don't have a lot of subject matter living in a small town in North Idaho. But you have inspired me to go out and do better. Thank You. Hurley Dean, Sandpoint, Idaho USA.
Nice one Sam......feels weird for me as I was on my first ever street photography meet up in Edinburgh and totally out my comfort zone but most enjoyable, it was raining also and I used the wet ground and puddles 😊, I got an image at 70mm in a shop and when I cropped in could not believe what I got...I will send it in to you for a edit , cheers 😊
Awesome vid as usual. Are you using 35mm because Mike Chudley called all of us out for using 85mm? 😂 I've been wanting a 35mm for ages because of his photos and some portrait photographers that use 35mm. My 24-70 will deliver that 35mm length for now I guess
Not at all, Mike has a good point but he’s not completely right. If used correctly it’s a great lens. It’s more about me getting different frames with different gear etc. however I do want a X100V because of him!
@@Opticalwander that definitely was sarcasm haha but no I totally agree with you! I feel like there shouldn’t be any rules for any niche in photography, but I do think there’s different genres of Street Photography, I feel like Mike and many others do a sort of ‘Fine Art’ style but you and say Northborders does cinematic. I love how both looks so I take a lot of this with a grain of salt. And I too want a an X100V!
8:45 daaamn, this is a legendary photo dude😍🥵
I suggest to use something that's unusual for street photography like 100-400mm. I wonder what shots you could get with it.

Thank you 🙏
It was great shot !!

A classic Nikon F 35mm grainy Ilford Delta 3200 film!
Great video and superior pictures again!

I would love to see you out and shoot street photography with the Sony RX100 VII
8:48 it's was so cool🥴
Hey quick video idea. You could perhaps make a video about picture profiles and which ones you use.
Way way better than that 360 stuff, cracking photos too.

Amazing!
Great examples of the wonderful shots you can get on a rainy night - hope to bump into you on the streets of Sydney soon

I love photographing in the rain or in between the showers! Great videos Sam!
Bro loving the daily uploads! Could you try the new SIGMA 18-50 mm for Fuji X (if not then Sony) would love to hear your thoughts! Keep it up bro
Awesome video as always, any update on who won the Nikon camera?
Love your streets videos and your posting of the settings !!

i have sony a7ii with a 85mm sony f1.8, i would like to see how you would shoot with it and see how i can improve with my own set up from ur pov
I am currently running a canon eos 1500d as my first camera body with a 50mm f1.8 and would love to see what results you get with this setup
do you use colour profiles on the camera?
It would be great to do a POV with an old digicam.
How are you able to get 2 or 3 people tac sharp using 1.8. When I use it I tend to get one really sharp one eh sharp. What focus mode do you use?
Nice video, you can do macro pov in the city 😊
Do you film and record siund with gopro 8?
u can try old Fujifilm X-T1, Sigma 56mm 1.4
What about using a Canon EOS 90D?
Great POV! Go pro footage looked heaps better!
I shoot with a Sony rx100 mk7. Would be fun to see how you use one!
What audio setup do you use while recording povs? It's just clean.
It’s just the GoPro audio 🙏🙏
Black and white POV with the IPhone 4 you bought
