welCome to the Club . Hope you get to see them Live . My first Social D show was soon after their first album . One of the most Solid live bands out there .
Social D rocks. Mike Ness is amazing. I've seen them all over from Eugene, OR to Orange County and San Francisco. They always kill it, never disappointed.
I travelled from Maryland to California to see this show with my bro, and jumped in the mosh pit. It was a great experience and what rock is all about. Better yet is that his song craft continues to improve.
Fucking stupid how Social Distortion isn't in the rock and roll hall of fame. Well fuck it, these guys are going to INVENT the punk rock hall of fame someday...
EXACTLY THIS IS THE SHIT I AM TALKING ABOUT! Green Day is the biggest pile of shit in the world, Social Distortion could kick their ass and not even do anything.
Mr.Sickboy I'm not a huge fan of green day but i have to admit that their album dookie is a very good one. But, I can't understannd how they get in the hall before SD.

Quintana is so cool. I love his playing in the Ju Ju Hounds live bootlegs - still listen to them regularly. I wish he was still on the international scene and glad he was a part of this era of Social Distortion.
Grew up listening to Social D. Saw them live in 90' something on Oahu freakin great show. So much behind the lyrics and just the unique sound Ness has created. If you have not seen Another State of Mind it is a must see. One of the pioneers of it all for sure.
For 2003, the sound quality is really good! Watched this end to end. Love it! All these years later, I finally got my tickets for their Sept 22nd, 2024 show in Edmonton Alberta. And yes, it's also on a Sunday, and I won't be going to work the next day. God bless to Mike Ness and being able to hit the road once again.
Man, I grew up with this. This was done the same year I was born, my mom and dad were in that crowd. Telling Them is still my favorite song of all time.
Live! 1984 The Music Machine in Santa Monica Calif! Social D and D.I. I was 14 years old and the first time I ever saw them live. Bad ass! Punks not Dead! Alo)(a!
Thanks for this killer hometown show, I learned how to play bass along with these guys in 1990,and my punk rock girl future babymama thought I hung the moon! With lyrics about switchblades, leather jackets, jail, and drinking, they sound like the spirit of punk rock!
I grew up on punks in my teens till later on at 20, got into metal till now 53. Full time musician now. Just heard this band today. Fell in love in all their songs right away. But how come i let this one slip me...guess this show some 'musician' I am huh...
Mike! You are the "effin" bomb! You have no clue how much I love you guys and your music that got me through a lot of shit! So most respect to my favorite band of all fucking time! Love ya's from Ontario!!!! P.S. Play Toronto again or better yet...London Ontario
My dad and i used to watch this all the time, Everytime it came for footprints on my ceiling when mike says "cause even tough guys fall in love" my dad would take off his shirt and start flexing and say " no we don't Ah!" hahaha!
is excelence !! thank ,yours songs is súper ba mi inglés es poor GRACIAS POR SUBIRLO emocionan DESDE LONGCHAMPS Pcia de BsAS Argentina gracias, larga vida para todos
I my self also from the O.C. good Hunting Beach.🌹🌹💋 Now my life has been here in Seattle for The last 35 yrs. I some day will return home cause that is my ❤️💋my big love is there. That I send a big aloha with ❤️❤️❤️
I wonder at Ness, how it is either the direction... or just the gut level grasp that he keeps on the music after all these years. Any other band you could mention would have mutated out of the genre or away from their core...but SxDx keeps it on the path with the lights lit. And his guitar sound is as good, if not better than ever. I heard "Bad Luck" on MTV in '92..I have been hooked ever since..
Hearing thos old Mommys little Monster songs reminds me of my old skateboard days and my sports days because they were at the same time, i was the only skatepunker who played football, baseball, and ran track but i never called myself a jock because sports wasn't my life i just like playing them. Non of the jocks ever gave the skaters/punkers a hard time maybe because they knew i would say something and maybe because half the team was also filled with the metal heads. I like the part whem he says "if you were my son i would make you take out the trash", they old school values bredd character not like this current generation of "entitled brats". This was a pretty good concert because most of the stuff was on the upbeat side of things which i like, Mike said in an interview that he grew up on 50's music as did i and i always like the more upbeat songs with plenty of harmonious back up vocals and that is what shaped my musical style to this day.
@@devilsoffspring5519 Actually it just got scratched up taking it in and out of the cd case mostly. Seen SD live about a dozen times and that CD still rocks!
I have been looking up something called "cowpunk". Now i've been listening to social distortion for a long time...i never EVER thought of them as a Country band with a Punk Rock feel...so WHY ARE THEY CALLED COWPUNK AGAIN!
Reminds of my youth spent on hot summer Tucson nights looking for the next big party, drunk on cheap jug wine, rollin in my brothers Pinto station wagon. We were invincible and didn't give a fuck what anyone thought about us. Caught up in the throes of youth and ignorant innocence.
This is amazing.?but Mike ness is sooo good still..im blown away by the latest shows. he gets sexier and intrigues me every minute.and im completely and utterly impressed by his passion and his work ethic.and he's so captivating and dedicated
Bad ass then. Bad ass now. They will go down in the Rock n Roll books as one of those legendary bands that did not sell out.
As Mr. Ness once get off your ass and acheving your goals. 💋🏆
@Derrick Henrik you are correct. Nobody gives a damn so fuck off She must take comfort in the fact that you are a pathetic sociopathic loser.
At 60 years old, I just found this band today. They are pretty good. Add to the play list for more. Thanks for the upload!
holy fucking shit
Better late than never welcome brother
welCome to the Club .
Hope you get to see them Live . My first Social D show was soon after their first album . One of the most Solid live bands out there .
60 years old here same as you just discovered it today good good good.
Watch out USA, the 60 years olds are all going bonkers. Those are the most dangerous!
Old school rock and roll at it's best. I have seen these guys twice in New Hampshire and they rocked the house both times. Mike Ness is a legend.
I saw them at the casino ballroom 11-12 years ago.
SocialD at their best. If you don't get SocialD, you don't get music. Epic lyrics. Epic melody. Epic feel. Epic image. Epic tone.
Have you listened to "live at the Roxy?" it's the BEST
I like Social Distortion, but their lyrics are not epic, they’re pretty corny actually. Mike Ness’ image is also pretty corny.
Watch out for the landing gear buddy. Over your head.
Social D rocks. Mike Ness is amazing. I've seen them all over from Eugene, OR to Orange County and San Francisco. They always kill it, never disappointed.
I bought the pirate dvd of this here in Ecuador in the late 2000´s, long time fan having recorded tapes of my old punk friends!!!!! LONG LIVE SD!!!!!
My first Social D show was in 1997 with Chuck Biscuits on drums.. WLWHWT had just come out
I travelled from Maryland to California to see this show with my bro, and jumped in the mosh pit. It was a great experience and what rock is all about. Better yet is that his song craft continues to improve.
Rest in love Charlie quintana.
Yep CQ 's fuckin great!
Always liked him
Yes he lives,
I caught them again last week. Still kicking ass!
Me too in Ft. Lauderdale still rocking
Used to play this dvd on my house system after my band played local shows. Partyied our faces off!!! Social D for life✊
Me as well... good times
Fucking stupid how Social Distortion isn't in the rock and roll hall of fame. Well fuck it, these guys are going to INVENT the punk rock hall of fame someday...
that gimmick is saved for pretend bands like kiss.
Hall of fame isnt serious at all. Even Deep purple is not in it lol.
Green Day before Social Distortion in the Hall??? WTF

Rest In Peace Charlie. Thank you for the gift of music you gave us. Just the best overall fit with the band in my opinion.
RIP Charles Quintana. You're missed.
Grew up listening to Social D. Saw them live in 90' something on Oahu freakin great show. So much behind the lyrics and just the unique sound Ness has created. If you have not seen Another State of Mind it is a must see. One of the pioneers of it all for sure.
In 1980 that was cutting edge rock. Today it's still ahead of it's time.
For 2003, the sound quality is really good! Watched this end to end. Love it!

I drove from san jose. ca to pomona, ca. to see these guys live because both the Santa Cruz and San Francisco shows were sold out. Worth every second.
I never get tired of Ness or Social D. Looking forward to the next time they come through town!
My all-time live performance seeing social de would give anything for them to get back together
Saw them in 1996 at Hard Rock Vegas. Great show. I still have a guitar pick with the classic logo.
I wore this DVD out about 10 yrs ago....late house parties after playing gigs....good times indeed....gotta dig it out
2023 yay 😊 still rocking my world lol
Saw them in Kansas City on this tour, they were on fire that night! Equally solid the other two times I've seen them! Love Mike's style!
one of the best bands I have seen live. Ranks up there with Foo Fighters, Bruce Springsteen, Metallica and Volbeat
????
🎤🔥
I was at a Springsteen concert at the sports arena at USC, and Mike Ness came out and played “Bad Luck” with the E Street Band
Check out the angels live in nanara 1983 holy fuck what a band.. These guys are the offspring of that sound

The rock'n'roll hall of fame is empty without Ness. Great video.
