And I LOVE the combo of chocolate and molasses btw. I use date molasses and I even add a bit in when I make chocolate nice cream 😋 it’s like you said, it makes the chocolaty flavour so rich and sweet and decadent 🤤

I just made them the only thing different I didn't have molasses so I used dark brown sugar instead of granulated they are awesome

Just made these to give to my coworkers as Christmas cookies! Added vegan marshmallows from Trader Joe’s and made them a little smaller! They were phenomenal! Just made a batch of your cookies but I substituted homemade almond butter for the Earth Balance and added a bit of granola and walnuts along with the chocolate chips. They are so good! Thanks for another fabulous recipe and Happy Valentines Day to you!! 💞

Could you use a brown rice syrup in place of the molasses? Or does the molasses aid in the texture/holding it together.
