Logic and reason are impossible to be used against someone, who rejects logic and reason. That's what all "pro-life" people do. Reject logic and reason and the consequence is suffering of women ...

If Trump were to push for mass deportations, the labor shortage that would follow could be devastating for key sectors of the U.S. economy. Many of these industries-like agriculture, construction, and service jobs-are currently filled by immigrants. Without them, the U.S. food supply chain would be hit hard, given that immigrants make up a substantial majority of agricultural workers. In some regions, immigrants represent up to 73% of the farm workforce. The construction industry would face similar devastation, as around 30% of its workforce consists of immigrants. This ripple effect would crash essential parts of the economy, from food production to infrastructure development. The real fear is that Trump could then exploit the loophole in the 13th Amendment, which permits involuntary servitude for those convicted of a crime, to fill the labor gaps. This is not far-fetched; the U.S. already leases prison labor to private corporations, where incarcerated workers are paid as little as 52 cents per hour. In some cases, prisoners are forced to work in fast food chains or agriculture under conditions that bear a strong resemblance to slavery. Expanding this practice to replace deported immigrants would lead to a system that’s disturbingly fascist, where labor is controlled by the state under coercive conditions. It would echo historical systems of exploitation where marginalized groups were enslaved to keep economies running. The idea that labor shortages could be solved by exploiting prisoners is not only inhumane but terrifyingly authoritarian. Such a move would fundamentally degrade American values of freedom and justice, turning the prison system into a labor force for private profit under the guise of law enforcement. This approach would set a dangerous precedent, one that pushes the country toward an undemocratic and exploitative system, where vulnerable populations are treated as disposable tools for economic survival. Edit: more added in the replies
Always heard people talking abt putting immigrants in forced labor camps and never understood where it came from but this is the first time I’ve heard the actual explanation and that’s fucking crazy
@@tonywords6713 You’re right that the U.S. has long operated within a framework of exploitation, but I’d argue it’s more accurate to describe it as plutocratic-capitalism-a system where economic and political power is concentrated in the hands of a small elite. This isn't simply “business as usual” or capitalism in its pure form. We're witnessing the further entrenchment of a system that allows those with wealth to leverage both the state and market to maintain control, often at the expense of marginalized populations. Immigrants, for example, fill critical roles in industries like agriculture, construction, and healthcare. Without their labor, entire sectors of the U.S. economy would collapse. If we were to deport these workers en masse and attempt to replace them with exploited prison labor, we’d be stepping deeper into a neo-feudal structure, where those most vulnerable are criminalized and coerced into labor. The intersection of mass incarceration, corporate profit, and state policy echoes fascist-like mechanisms, where the state controls labor under the guise of "justice" or "law enforcement." It’s a clear reflection of plutocratic influence-the wealthy few benefiting from a system designed to exploit both prisoners and immigrant workers, ensuring that profits are maximized while ethical considerations are minimized. To simply say “the system is working as usual” underestimates the dangers of this growing trend. What we’re seeing isn’t just the natural evolution of capitalism; it’s the fusion of economic exploitation with state control, a deeply authoritarian approach to maintaining wealth and power.
It just seems like no matter what is said to them they have a counter or use personal anecdotes. Like Hasan said, they operate off of vibes and feelings.
People keep saying to the liberal kid “you’ve had all this time and won’t let us speak” or “you have a whole 20 minutes to make your point” while they’re all running the clock out, dodging the topics and questions, and literally not wanting to let him even make his point when he asks for just a moment to do so, they’re like “no I want to say my point first” and not letting him rebut unless he forces it in.
It's so interesting to me this pattern that a loooot of them have of thinking that saying a lot of things super fast=smart. To me it sounds so much smarter when a person actually... thinks about what to say next and chooses their words carefully to express their point in the most concise way possible instead of just dumping overwhelming information all at once super fast on the other person
I’m not gonna lie, when the blonde lady said that he can only explain his reasons if he does it “in 10 seconds or less” it broke my brain for a bit because of how in-character it was for conservative voters to want that. They really do value opinions more if they’re phrased in ways that are short, snappy and simple…as opposed to ones that have any actual explanation beyond the claim itself. There’s no limit to how simple you can make an argument that’s baseless or just plain wrong, but things that are true have a minimum level of nuance or explanation that they rely on. These people value arguments that sound good to them and affirm their emotions in ways that are straightforward and to the point, not ones that challenge their beliefs and take time to understand. It really is all vibes with them. They think that being catchy and concise is inherently the same as being correct.

31:43 someone actually did study this, and what they found is there's a phenomenon where when immigrants come to America, they feel a sense of superiority over anyone who immigrates after they do. Even after like an hour. There's no logic to it, it just happens. My family has been here a good long time, and I think everyone who wants to come here should be allowed to come and go as they please
That would kinda explain, why Americans in general have this "ego" to them. Their ancestors immigrated 300 years ago, thus they feel obviously superior to anyone who came after. And that's why Native Americans don't have this complex ... as they are native to America and didn't immigrate ... it all makes sense xD

I'm pro choice but I can still counter that argument. When you mention that the baby is actually deserving of life, you go into a tricky territory where it can actually be compared to a baby abandoned by their parents.
@@marspark6351 Nah, you can’t compare that. A baby being abandoned wasn't literally attached to a living being via biological matter ...

Like a child, “I don’t want it anymore cuz you touched it! Waaaaaah!”
Well, it is actually about the border.
If the border isn't a problem anymore, Trump would lose one of his big topics that he uses to garner the support from people.
If that falls away, he would lose a lot of voters ...
So it's in Trumps best interest (and in the interest of Republicans in general), that the border problem is not to be solved in any way!

In events like these where there aren’t like distractions like on screen comments and people giving awards blah blah and he’s focused fully he’s a beast.
Though I do understand the whole tiktok style stuff isn’t for older people like me and it’s good since it’s reaching other young adults in a way more appealing to them so I can’t really complain.

Great comment. No notes
Good comment but by your own explanation the USA already meets that definition so I'd say it's working as usual

My problem with this is not fact checking these people in real time. It’s all well and good that it pops up on our screens, but these people were allowed to just spew whatever alternative facts they felt like, and this poor guy was just left to fend for himself to argue his points AND fact check them (which of course is useless with these people). Anyone watching this is likely not to even see the little pop-ups if they aren’t actively watching the screen. They shouldn’t have been able to keep going and going. I mean, I know fact checks are also pointless to them in general since they have convinced themselves that the L E F T is just trying to censor them or whatever, but it would have been nice if an “authority figure” hosting the debate would have at least made an attempt.
