I thought Abraham was considered the first prophet..? I love your teaching, Pastor Skip. I enjoy that you include much of the rich history in the Bible.

Wow! This lesson has revealed and explained the whys that I have been asking the Lord about for sometime now!!
I am beginning to realize the lessons that some have taken from the Bible and use them for their own good - slavery (Black American), the purging of a people for their land ( Native American) and the continued effort to control the curtain population by way of police brutality (the killing of black/brown men) to name a few are lessons learned by some straight from the Bible…WOW!!
Even in these sermons the biases are so evident- just calling out certain races and groups of people to fit negative narratives while positively aligning people of European decent in a favorable light is astonishing!
I agree, God does use people as pawns…even in His plan of salvation.

Thank you Pastor Skip for more in-depth teaching. We have finished Genesis with you and look forward to learning more about the Jewish people through the book of Exodus. Not many people teach on this book, in fact, I don't think I have ever had any teaching on Exodus so really looking forward to the next few weeks teaching with you.
