I've been using the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case for years now and I love it. Not a single bump, dent, scratch or crack! And keeps the look of the phone alive!
there are better clear phone cases that dont yellow after a year. the plastic that ringke uses (polycarbonate) yellows significantly slower. think years. normal clear phone cases are usually made of TPU which quickly yellow in a year or less.
Fantastic video, thank you! I went with the Ringke Fusion X for a few reasons. The price, it comes with a screen protector, love the camo, and extra bumpers on the corners.
Went with the Ringke Fusion X. Had it on about a week. Very happy with it. I don't like bulky cases and just needed something that offered basic protection. Nice bonus that it looks good against the green phone.
@@IwanSCH The hard plastic that ringke uses (polycarbonate) yellows significantly slower. think years. Typical soft clear phone cases are usually made of TPU which quickly yellow in a year or less.
I wish some of the "Best Cases" (which I do agree these are the best in shape, thickness, construction ect.) came in just a couple lighter color options. I mean...I'm not looking for pink glitter lol, but just not only dark colors or clear. If they just added some summer colors - light blue, light green, or even a light gray would be so awesome!
I find that most high end brand name cases don't come in fun colors unfortunately. I love Ringke Onyx for the feel but wish they would come in a wider selection than grey, black, and navy. For good, colorful cases you can take a look at Casetify and Stringberry. For light, solid colors, consider Dbrand (though they come as a black case and a decal that you have to apply to the case yourself).
I have the Spigen hybrid on my note 8 and already ordered one for my s22 plus that is being shipped to me today. It's a great case and I've personally put it to the test multiple times. My note is 5 years old and doesn't have a single scratch, dent, or chip.
@@azharulz I smoke and after 5 years and actively keeping it clean, it's still very clear. I've never let it bake in the sun or anything, but I'll bet even if you did it would be fine for a couple years.
Either Spigen Ultra Hybrid, there is a transparent version, or the Poetic Neon for all the colours available. They also don't add much bulk to the phone.
I got the onyx case for my S22 and Galaxy buds 2. I dropped my S22 already, it protected the cameras, screen is perfect. I had S8 with ringke for 5 years (broken 2 tempered glasses) without tempered glass didnt shatter my screen with ringke onyx case for S8.
Can wait to get my s22+ Over half a decade with my reliable a50 and I'd say it's time for an upgrade. My fiance got hers and it's so nice. We are both phone-droppers and I work in the landscaping industry so I definitely want a heavy duty case Great reviews 👌
Really great and thorough review. Unfortunately, most cases have mush buttons compare to the "naked phone" :-/ How the button work is a major criteria, you use them all the time. I used to be a big fan of Spigen cases (since 2015 with the S6, then S9, S20 FE 5G), but the Spigen Ultra Hybrid and Liquid Armor I tried with my S22+ both have buttons that take way too much force to register. Very disappointing. Wish they had metal buttons that would just translate the push, instead of pushing in/deforming silicon/plastic to register a button push.
Awesome video! 👍🏻.. 10:24 I love the way the Ringke Fusion has a sort of "half pipe" on the sides of the case that way it doesn't interfere with side swiping and it makes the phone feel slimmer overall
Looks like ill be getting the Poetic Revolution. I first and foremost like the built in screen protector. Looks are cool & the built in kickstand will be great when i watch my videos in the morning while eating my breakfast. I like the fact it has a charge port protector. I work outside & will help keep it clean. And lastly i like the more aggressive edges that will protect the screen protector lol. Nice case. Was leaning towards the otterbox Defender but this looks to do more of what i want. Great reviews 👍
I don't think the button are that great on the case, take too much effort to register. I have the hybrid with the kickstand. I used to be a fan of Spigen cases since the S6 in 2015, with various other Galaxy S series phones since then, but the one I have for the S22+ isn't up to par IMO. The buttons on the phone are great, I realize you give up some when you put on a case, but this is too much. Also agree on the oils/finger prints.
The meifigno looked the best to me before watching this video/just browsing on amazon. Now kind of in-between the onyx and the ultra hybrid. The meifigno looks good new and seems like good protection. Shame it may look bad quickly. Thoughts anyone?
had the poetic case for my s10e and it survive SO MANY FALLS without any incident. 4-5 feet falls in the parking lot, no problem at all. I even had my phone on a stove camera side down (dont ask how) for a few minutes and the cases plastic started to melt and become deformed. Case looks bad now but the phone and camera are appear like nothing ever happened. These cases are amazing if they are like they used to be.
I bought the sup-case in clear for my S22 ultra Blimey it’s got protection took ages to part the case but it’s fab Luckily I found it on eBay cos on the website it was sold out
The last few cases that you showed I've used before and they make your phone overheat like mad, literally. I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Spigen Tough Armor has never failed me. None of my phones ever cracked with it. It's only $20 on Amazon as well. Only downside is that they only have 3 colors, so the ones that want a pink or white color, you're out of luck.
Im always a UB fan but why cant i just get a integrated screen protector without a hole. The fingerprint thing is dumb. Its literally thin lexan. It will read thru if it reads thru the glass stick on type
I got the Poetic Spartan for my S22 pus, but the wireless charging don't work with it for some reason, despite all the reviews saying it works. I have an Energizer wireless charger and it works fine without the case. i really wish phone case manufactures would test on all wireless chargers and put a disclaimer in the case specs that stats this, that way i don't have to go find and test a new wireless charger and hope it works.
I want the Supcase UB Pro for S22 Plus in that cool gray camo design, but Supcase does not show that case in camo for the s22 Plus on their site, only in solid colors...sigh. I can't find it on Amazon either.
i work in construction, constant dusty, dirty environment. cant wait to die at 50 with lung problems. anyways, as a electrician in lofts under floors ect, what cover would you guys recommend for my new s 22 ?
Yeah I've had poetic on my a71 for 4-5 years and it's my favorite case ever now I have the s22 plus and went to body glove and that's going back today. Getting another poetic case now. Thanks for the video. Anyone who hasn't tried poetic its a must have. Traded my a71 in and the phone looks brand new out the box. It's not a water proof case but I've dropped it in the toilet and no problems now did that sticker show water damage. Go poetic cases. Especially b/c the stupid ass fingerprint scanner you get that option because this is the worst scanner ever for this phone and any fingerprint circle just screws the image up and you cannot get away from that.
Great content. I have both poetic spartan and revaluation for my note20 ultra. Have it in red, black, green, blue. And have the supcase unicorn beetle pro. Have them in black, blue, red, green, there both great cases, but if I had to choose only one, it would be supcase unicorn beetle pro, it has a much bigger lip for the front screen protection.
Will never buy UAG ever again. Years ago got UAG case for S8+ and dropped out of pocket and cracked screen. $54 bucks for case + $100 for a new screen within 1day of use. Only use Otter now.
Best 3 cases for Samsung 22 series phones are 1) Speck2 Presidio Grip 2) Samsung silicone case with strap (Navy blue with orange strap) 3) Caseology Skyfall clear case with black sides... All 3 of these cases have comfort and grip and won't make you look like a super nerd walking the streets lol
personally i like the look of the clear but the cameo will be able to hide scratches a little better since the color pattern could hide lighter ones. i used the fusion X clear on my S10e and i only bought a new case after three years due to scratches. its a pretty durable plastic. im upgrading to an S22 and I'm about to order another fusion X clear. so it's up to your preference in looks. they both function great.
One thing i will never understand is why people would want hard clicky buttons. I have a iphone 13 and its so annoying to use the volume rockers that i have to think about that actively everatime i have to adjust. Sad to hear that samsung is clicky too.
