I really hope Kuzan isn’t a double agent. I hope when he told Smoker that he was “still himself,” he simply meant that even if he is teamed up with Blackbeard he still will stand up for someone he used to work with as long as it won’t upset Blackbeard. Like if Blackbeard doesn’t want Kuzan associating with the marines then that scene wouldn’t have happened.
I’m hoping he’s just a lost man and can be Robin’s opponent in the Straw Hat vs BB Pirates fight. Where like he saved her, she’ll end up saving him, then the face turn can happen.
it really comes down to blackbeard asking Kuzan what he really wants, the answer to that explains everything.
based on what we do know. the biggest clue is the ohara incident which was even brought up in that conversation.
i think he sees the celestial dragons/gorosei as a problem that needs to be dealt with. but he can't do that while in the marines.
it's also worth noting he was among the people displayed when it showed people fighting for the one piece near the end of vegapunks message. signifying he is separate from blackbeard.
so his core values haven't changed, he just decided to accomplish his goals through a different path.

We don’t know why they were there yet, She states “mission complete” when touching Saturn but that could mean BB sent them to get the highest authority possible for the Seraphim control.

I still think Lafitte is the hat wearing, silhouetted figure in the Rocks flashback, personally. Idk if he's a hidden traitor to Blackbeard, so much as he's strategically leaking info for their benefit. As Blackbeard is trying to be a king, leaking info on attacking the WG's main enemy and attacking Law could be used to make Blackbeard look good to the WG.
@ladonmccabe yeah at the end i acknowledged hiddens theory on the rocks flashback laffitte and if he is that lol then I'd pull back on the Hattori notion, full send on the cp0 notion, and that's when it becomes a crazy plot point of "how" the celestials even stole from pirate island in the first place. They somehow got their crowned treasure right from their territory? So if it was laffite in the fmgod valley flashback then i think he played that role in God Valley.

It would be such a twist if it turned out Lafitte was the Blackbeard traitor instead of Kuzan. Especially because we still haven't seen what role Urouge will play and there's enough circumstantial evidence that there's a 50-50 chance he either becomes an ally of Luffy, or an enemy. Considering that people were speculating that if Kuzan wasn't the 10th captain it would turn out to be Urouge, and the fact that both he and Latiffe have angel motifs, it would make sense if Kuzan was a fake out and Latiffe was the traitor, but the it turned out that Blackbeard already suspected him of such and had Urouge lined up as a replacement. Also people forget that Lafitte, like Brook was once a West Blue Policeman, and the West Blue Police Forces are implied to have closer ties to the navy and World Government compared to their East Blue counterparts.

Great video Par. Laffiette always been interesting to me, ever since he interupted that meeting in mariejoa. For the Bb pirates vs Straw Hats I have Robin vs Laffiette. Both from the west blue and Laffiette kinda does have similar uniforms to cp, so having Robin facing a former cp agent is kinda cool because of cp capturing her during water 7.

I mean the point still stands akainu got a direct call from the battlefield and the important thing is actually timing. Big News morgans got the news now but that means he was late to it. He posted about luffy holding vp hostage and garps rescue which from what we can tell both were after the call akainu got from winners island. So that means morgans learned of this later and now is considering posting it. And ALSO doubly interesting is the shanks part because that makes less sense since we KNOW buggy heard about shanks already and we saw demaro black dressed up as kid, which is really weird now that we know that morgans hadn't posted that headlines yet.
Also ironically it did age well considering information we didn't have yet was not used as the entire basis for an idea. And I even considered that we might find out morgans did know about, but didn't post it. So it still fits. Which shows how robust the line of logic that it wasn't flimsy enough to break with a new chapter. Plus not gonna wait for possible new chapters to maybe cover a topic, otherwise we'd be waiting forever for what's supposed to be an engaging dialogue and conversation or thinking point haha

ill think more, but while i think wed have to wait more for prince grus power to be shown, even in that one panel. the golems are independently fighting (its not like grus is controling each one), and even if he is. that golem not only talked, it smiled as it got cut, and it wasn't talking in response like a robot, it unpromptedly made a joke by being sacrastic, which fighting, smiling, and joking are all way more sentient than some characters tbh. above crackers biscuits from what we know.

I think the Egghead incident has one last card to play. What if it's Morgans who comes to report that the WG are the ones who killed Vegapunk. That it was them who killed Cobra. Historically if something hasn't been revealed like that it usually means it relates to or is explained by something we learn about in the future. Laffite cud fall in that category. It's something oda established really strongly with Django infiltrating the marines and captain kuro setting up morgans but continued with miss golden week, and then later reinstated with powers like sugars fruit that makes ppl forgot memories, pudding alters memories, tamas that force commands on ppl. And now that the gorosei are here they have the force the literal like star wars force (albeit they didn't use it that well) they also demonstrated and canonically stated they were using telepathy to talk to eachother and sense den den mushi signals.
So I have to hard disagree on the scope of the hypnotism one for laffite.
But I can agree with you on the lucci side, except the more you explain it the more ironic it sounds. But As far as the laffite being ex cipher pol angle, when you consider the fact that the strongest agents are masked, idk if akainu knows what guernica, Maha, Joseph look like underneath the mask, especially because cipher pol is not a part of the navy. Just because the main characters take off their masks doesn't mean the others do. The only thing to really be upset about with that is that the masked agents definitely are not the strongest lmfao and we see the separation of power a few times, msrineford the navy didn't call on cipher pol, akainu being left in the dark about cipher pol plans on dressrosa, cipher pol having plans beyond akainu control on egghead that even deployed an admiral without his knowledge, and the lack of authority to investigate the reverie situation which was delegated to holy knights but shows how akainu can't control what the celestial dragons control.
Haha I'm only pushing back on the notion that it'd be dumb. Think there's plenty of ways to make it work, I'm just not sold that it'll happen or that oda wants to give laffite that much of a role. Hey, I just had a random thought, now that Lilith is the only Vegapunk besides York that's left, how does the eating system work?? Would Lilith still have to rely on York to eat food and sleep?? or does she have to learn how to do that herself??? I don't think that York is going back to her old self to just eat and sleep for all the Vegapunks. She might still eat, but maybe only for herself. I just don't understand how the separation stuff is supposed to work with the Vegapunks. Maybe Lilith does need to do natural bodily functions when nowhere near the island. She just doesn't know because she said herself that she never left Egghead.
She'll also be wanted because York might not know that she's still alive, but V. Nasjuro will though. He was there and even watched Atlas knock her out. He might've suspected that she was dead but he's not that stupid, what if this whole time he was chasing the Sunny not just to destroy the Strawhats but also to make sure Lilith died?? I have for awhile now believed Kuzan beat Akainu on punk hazard. I believe the looser got the desk job and the winner got to go under cover. I think we all see Akainu hating life from begind the desk has oda really made that job seem fun yet or a prize? I think we take for granted the fact that oda loves to mislead and this "fact" Akainu won on punk hazard is only backed up by because oda said so. It's a weird thing to put into words but basically kuzan wants to see the people who chose a path different than his to succeed. He basically doing that with robin. Artificial means something doesn't occur naturally and are created by human beings by using science or technology. And also sometimes it refers to creating the copy of something natural. Example. Robot arm, Artificial Heart, Artificial Intelligence, etc. Haki is the natural power that exist within the body but you need to learn how to use it properly with a lot of training. Just like people born naturally by the biological process, at least for now. That is why it can't assume as artificial. Some people are just more capable than others, just like some genius big-brain scientist in this world.

@user-zp8ih2bj4q nah this is my natural speed. But I was also sick so I forgot to slow down for the recording like i normally do. It's funny cuz if you look at my vids from 2 years ago. You can hear me straining to talk slower, until I found a speed that was a good compromise for recording. Did alot of breath training for that but when I talk normally I use less breathing/air so I can speak faster and it's alot less taxing, which is why i just defaulted cuz I was super sick. I think I recorded this like my last night free before anime nyc XD
Also for the record, since I have adhd. Without adderral I'm actually more unhinged LMAO it's alot easier to talk slower while on adderral with practice atleast and the added focus
