'The Void' has become one of MUSE's best works, it does its job incredibly well and makes us feel like dying slowly in space, knowing that there's the Coder with us and he will do nothing to save us. I love when MUSE makes this kind of songs, like 'Map of The Problematique', 'Ruled by Secrecy', 'Explorers' (which is my fav MUSE song of all times), 'Sing for Absolution' or the entire and beautiful 'Exogenesis Symphony'. Loved the new album, not so happy with 'Something Human' but the rest is an incredible mix between Space-Rock and Experimental Wub Wub. Well done, MUSE.
This song absolutely brought back that amazing indescribable feeling u get when hearing a top muse song, I missed that feeling, and i literally was in tears first time hearing "The Void"... I LOVE MUSE SO MUCH .

Hearing this interview, made me feel Matt Bellamy is our modern age's Beethoven with great hights and peaks of emotions and the unique talent to interpret them all! Happy to witness his greatness!!!! This just proves, rock doesn't have to be uncontrollable screaming and yelling, unlistenable chaos what most other groups represent...but can be a logic behind it based on old rules of classical composition...only real talents can bring this to life!!!
And why didn't you do this in concert?!? I forgive you but it's the best song on the album, in my humble opinion, for its message and mostly its sound that I feel in my soul. They say you should never explain a joke and I would expand that to say how a song is made but this is an exception because it's an exceptional song and it's fascinating to hear about the process. Muse is symphonic, operatic, and perfect.
