- Friends Like These is the first single taken from the brand new studio album 'Meet Me Halfway, At Least' and marks the long awaited return of Deaf Havana.
Opting to shun the Southern Rock tag gained from critics after their 2008 EP release (It's Called The Easy Life) the band favoured exploring their ability for melody & hooks, the single is the perfect introduction to Deaf Havana and the forthcoming record 'Meet Me Halfway, At Least'.
The album 'Meet Me Halfway, At Least' is in stores and online now.

Who else just randomly remembered this song
At this very moment
Life was so different when this song first came out.
Life was different when you commented this :(
What about now. Better? Worse?
The world is worse now
The fact this comment was 9 years ago for a song that's 15 years old literally filled me with the weirdest feeling. I was 17 when this was released. How much better life was back then.
@@Sweglord_wow1991 I was 23, just finished Uni and life was class mate!! State of the world now 😂
Haven't heard this song in YEARS and my god it feels so good
YOU'LL NEVER KNOW SONGS LIKE THEEESE
Somehow I always end up here when listening to Deaf Havana .. Just one of my favorites!
Crazy how after all these years, we find ourself back here!
Even if the band themselves hate it, this song will always be a fucking anthem to me
Bradley Hudson they hate it? That's a shame
People talk about death of the author for a reason...
Best song they ever did.
Best song by far. They killed their band after the first couple of albums.
Fucking awesome. This used to come on some sketchy emo channel over and over and me and my best used to rock around the flat
I miss these days :') man this song brings me back
still one of the most important bands I've ever been saved by. Ryan and James, the whole lot of ya, thank you.
It's one of those songs that even if you've only listened to it one time, it's stuck in your head.
Heard this on the radio when I was a teenager, on the kerrang unsigned show. I'm now 31 and going to see them tomorrow. Love them and always will.
you'll never know friends like these.......what more needs to be said great tune!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I listen to this song... I feel like Deaf Havana are some of my closest friends.. I can really relate to this song.
Im in this, looked after the boys when they were growing up and yeah when Ryan left we all were upset but just look at what the band have become and Ryan is sooo happy with his life he has an amazing family.
I can remember when Def Havana performed Friends like These at the Download Festival on the 3RD Stage the Pepsi Max Stage in 2011. 🥁🎤🎸🤘🤘

And immediately say the lyrics “ you never know friends like these “ just popped in my head . I looked it up and found this song . I haven’t hear this song in 10 years at least. I swear I never came across these older songs by Deaf Havana when I first discovered them. I like them, but I prefer them now, I didn't know them with this other singer, and I love James' voice a lot more now.
