You’ve never seen Austen like this! Called the “greatest stage adaptation of this novel in history”, this rollicking, ingeniously-staged new adaptation follows the adventures (and misadventures) of the Dashwood sisters - sensible Elinor and hypersensitive Marianne - after their sudden loss of fortune. Bursting with humor, emotion, and bold theatricality, 'Sense and Sensibility' asks: when reputation is everything, how do you follow your heart?
It was hilarious and fun and yet kept to the heart of the story. I was very sad to hear that it wouldn't have an extended run as I'd like to see it again.
Looks awfully interesting.
I loved it. A very special exceptionally well crafted piece.
This HAYSEED from the farm town called Chicago is very much looking forward to seeing this play during an upcoming trip to NYC in late October.
Just saw this show at the Folger's (Shakespeare Library) in DC. AMAZING!
