This is a great Megatron figure that has a few minor flaws.

This is probably the best G1 tank Megatron HasTak has ever made (Robot mode wise), the only thing it's missing is the Conbiner Wars silver paintjob. The G1 toy sword is a nice touch.

It was _that_ bad. I'm not against weathering, but Hasbro would never devote enough budget to a figure to do weathering _properly._
Strangely the vehicle modes are making me think of if WFC (the games), Transformers Armada, and Transformers Energon had a hybrid universe mashup or something. I actually loved Megatron's alt mode, it takes me back to the first time I played "War For Cybertron". That is some pretty cool weapon storage as well. While many are going to have mixed opinions on the "battle damage" for the figures, I for one like it. For Megatron, it makes me think he hasn't bothered cleaning himself since he's spent a great portion of his time at "The Pits of Kaon".
What about fall of cybertron?

Man I almost forgive the low quality cyberverse figures for the sheer quality that this line has been showing off. Truly, this is what the collectors have been waiting for.

AyyUltra silver paint doesn’t look good on plastic. Take this from someone who’s had to restore a lot of Cybermen action figures.

The battle damage either being variants or optional stickers would have been great
I thought of the meme “AND THIS IS BAD COMEDY” so I thought the same meme was gonna happen here but overall the transformation looks great the mud- eh just smudge it off with a paper towel or something- megaton was also originally known as megatronus before his vengeance corrupted him and then he started the war the war continued for centuries- no pun intended- but he was focused on killing the autobots that he was knocked out by omega supreme therefore starscream supposedly took over the deceptions until the dark energon reawokened megatron from his coma. Meanwhile optimus and the rest of the autobots were stopping the decepticons from destroying the cannons that could take out the station where the dark energon was being made, stopping the machine making the dark energon, optimus smashed the legs of the machine destroying the dark energon machine, the station transformed into another transformer, trying to take down jetfire, the decepticon tries to kill jetfire and his comrades, but inevitably fails to do so. And so on and so forth

I don't think it's suppose to "dirt" so much as I think the idea was to look like scuff marks, like the metal itself is warn and scratched from battle. It looks better on the darker bits then it does on the light gray plastic imo.

It is a fantastic figure. So G1ish in robot mode and by far the best Megatron we've got in awhile. I'm anxious to get this and Optimus Prime in my collection :)

The tank vehicle mode has always been my fav version of Megatron. I'm not planning to get any of the Siege figures when it first announced but I ended up getting Hound, Optimus and Megatron already. They all look much better than I expected.
I didn’t fully feel him at first because I feel the chest needed more silver and red to seperate it from the upper chest. Outside of that I love this guy. I’ve noticed that he cleverly homages the proportions and design of the cartoon, yet also homages the design and proportions of the micro change toy and original figure. The wide chest actually reminds me of the original toy and I’m really, really digging that. The front cannon is painted very well, and I love that they homaged the original toys sword weapon. I really would love a black and brown recolor to homage mc-12 the original microchange figure.
This line has me so excited to actually play with the transformers again and not just display them

Since the sword pieces were on inches I liked too display the sword on the arm and have the canon flipped out just like it did in tank form and all I could say is that he is an awesome figure (with the problems on the side) and I liked too put the canon on the left. Arm

The extra paint on all the Siege toys aren't dirt, they're meant to look like rust & scratch marks!!!
This guy is perfect and I'm definitely getting him. I hope he looks good next to my maniaking figure.

I think I’m the only person who likes the “dirt” for seige. Another top shelf review.
I think Megatron has got 2 Battlemaster Tabs on the edge of his blade. Pteraxadon and I think that blade guy both have edge effects that don't attach via a peg, instead using a tab that slots into the effect part. You could put one of these onto Meg's blade, like you could put a blast effect part on the end of a gun.
Definitely one of the best Megatron figures ever!
I personally don't mind the purpose paint scuffs it's a lot better than any of the other stuff we've seen from them recently

Easily the best Megs We've ever gotten. The TR Voyager had it's merits but we knew from the day it was announced it was a pretool for Blitzwing. This is Megatron. Pure tons of Silver Badassery that blows the TR one out of the water. Proper Fusion cannon, Real Heavy duty and threatening looking tank mode, So much better looking shoulders, Megatron's Buckethead and a waist swivel as the cherry on top

I’m always psyched when there’s a new Baltmatrix review of a fresh figure. This guy has been one of the very best reviewers for so long now! I’ve come to trust his assessments completely...but I think I’m still a little more excited about this Megatron than Balt seems to be. Smudges aside, I think it looks amazing and fun.
This reminds me a ton of Megatron's appearance in Transformers Devastation, especially with how the treads fold up on his back. I always really liked that version of him in that game - it's cool to see a figure that mimics it closely.

That brown spots on the figure is supposed to be war mud, if you think about, makes perfect sense to me.
Not when it's in places it doesn't make sense. Why would he have damage on top of the tread covers but not the sides, wich is way more likely to get damaged? On Optimus it just looks like he pooped his pants.
Aside from the hollow forearms, it's a cool figure. That blooper at the very start would have been really much work to cut out, I guess...
I was just looking at my CHUG shelves and trying to make a decision about what Megatron would represent G1 Megs for me, and I think this one will do nicely! That frees up TR Megs for a reprolabel into IDW Autobot Megatron!

It's an awesome tank Megatron in the form of a Voyager Class; and it could probably be considered the most G1-esque Voyager Megatron to date.
He's going right with my other CHUG figures, despite his boxy proportions and other minor flaws.
I wonder if I'm the ONLY collector that yearns for the return of the light-piping gimmick.
I just have say I wish they could fill in those open forearms after swinging the fists out. Remember when there used to be a panel there? Anyway, you’re the best Balt.
Like I said in the optimus review a love how the robot mode looks so much like the g1 cartoon where the alt mode is cybertroion

I was really looking forward to this Megatron, but upon closer inspection, the tread kibble backpack turned out to be a bigger eyesore that preliminary shots led me to believe, I hoped the treads would be more compact but oh well
I'll still have to think about getting this one

Vehicle modes are pretty good as well. The mega tank is a bit odd but its fine.
Most of the vehicle modes look great too
not to be that person but these are supposed to be cybertronian modes.

Battle masters are the new MechTech, but less obnoxious (but that is subjective.)
It IS subjective. They're clearly Targetmasters. lol
I know, but I'm saying the over all gimmick is similar, excessive weapon ports, mini figures turning into weapons (kinda like MechTech, but Battle masters came out way before they did.), it's just similar in nature.
I really liked Megatron from Armada, so this is kinda throw back.
Can't wait to see shockwave and sounds wave Megatron looks good but I agree that the dirt looks bad
I really wish they had the hip cannon in one of these tank Megatrons. That could then transform into the elevating tank cannon.

My favorite tank megatron mold is the armada versions of megatron/galvatron. I have to agree with the smudges.

Now unlike Siege Opti because I already had an Opti figure, this one I'm definitely getting as I have no Megatron, and I feel that this is a good one to start off with judging from the pics I've seen.

You can take his front barrel that changes into a sword that can work well as his g1 version.

im getting tank-a-tron-ed out, megatron is the guy who can be anything he wants to be in transformers: gun, jet, space car, truck, helicopter, stealth bomber, hand/dragon/elephant/bat/griffon/racecar/jet/boat/otherdragon, and that doesn't even include beastwars megs being a trex, vtol trex with rollerskates, dragon, dragon/wolfman, giant head...
The tread backpack looks like a jet pack
I just brought a repaint. G2 2nd ver colors, the one air missile gimmick i think. Different head, future miner megs head.
The gun sword looks cool but i wish the blades were removable. That way it could be a long-range rifle. I got so annoyed with the blades i took the screw out painter's taped that screw to the box. The blades are connected by a long peg on the non-screw end so with a little wiggling makes a halo sword ( the screw end doesn't fall off so far ). I found without the blades in the way the turret rotates better and you get elevation on the gun. Of course i haven't figured out where to put the sword now in vehicle mode . . . 😅

I wish they'd have done a drybrushing like they used on Studio Series Grimlock - that was beautiful. This looks more....globby.

Love this megatron... we waited a long time for a great voyager but they as you called it dirty it with painted battle damage... I like to play wear them myself. And it has to cost hasbro more money todo this. Perhaps we will get a clean version later
