In 1970, after returning from Vietnam, I married my high school sweetheart! At the time we could only afford a very simple wedding and spend one night at Motel 6. To celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary we booked a Caribbean cruise. Unbeknown to us, our four children surprise us with a honeymoon package. After the Capt. renews our vows we dance the night away with Neil Young and Harvest Moon. To say that we had the time of our life for 6 beautiful romantic nights is the understatement of the century!
I came back in 70 also. Three months later was making shake down cruises on USS Forrestal. I only had a few months home with my lovely young wife. We made it to 59 years and counting. We danced a lot in those younger days. Can't do so much now.

This song was written for my wife and I. I was the stranger watching her dance from afar at the airmans club when stationed in England. She was so beautiful but I couldn’t dance and was too shy to approach her. As luck would have it a friend of mine asked me to come to the club, he had a blind date for me. What a shock, it was the same girl I watched dance weeks before. Bottom line we dated 4 months got married and we will celebrate our 60 th anniversary this June. Yes, shes still beautiful. 😍 ❤ We just celebrated our 60 th wedding anniversary on June 13 th. I absolutely love Pina’s voice… so full, rich, and versatile. And Kat… she really has a good ear. She harmonizes so well and effortlessly. That is a skill to appreciate for sure!
This is one of the few songs I don’t in particular like by HSCC. I think any cover of this song was ruined for me after I listened to Foxes and Fossil’s version and to be honest I’m of the opinion they did it better than Neil Young. I’m not sure how to describe but to me this sounds too busy

I’m not a musical expert by any means, I can play the radio but that’s as far as my talent goes, I just know what my ears tell me. HSCC has many many great songs, I think they missed the mark with this one.
These live performances are ridiculously good. They sound like fully mixed/mastered studio recordings. Really, folks, these are special works of talent. Wow.
The videos of these folks I've seen so far ARE indeed highly processed and/or recorded in well equipped studios. They're highly talented and talented musicians though.
It is live, but they are fully mixed edited processed with a DAW. I do it quit often. I’m not a professional, but love to do it. All these guys are really really good. I have a recording on my YT channel done by a duo I’ve run sound for, that l burned on CD and listen to on road trips.
At my nephews wedding, his new wife sang this at their reception. It was the last time my mother was well before she passed away. It brings back such bitter sweet memories. Thanks.

I love Neil Young! I lived in the small township Neil Young spent his formative years for three years. Drove by his childhood home every time I brought my dog to the Vet. He did his surprise Canada concert in Omemee. He’s well loved there! Love HSCC! Always making beautiful music!❤️

As always the cover version is NEVER lacking in depth or style, and always capture the original essence, but adds to it. So much talent behind this - Con - your leadership must be recognised and Dave - you are a sound genius, and I'm sure I've left out credits to many deserving others.
