great explanation again by Gautam. Most importantly he mentions the 4 & 6 hole difference in the left & right indian exhausts. We see & hear all kinds of stories about the LT vs HT exhausts , so this totally helps clear the the confusion on this.
Thanks Da 🙏🏼 yes this uneven hole difference is very unusual. Yamaha/Escorts seems to have been struggling, somehow they got away with this strange fix.
Indeed nice section again but in my point of view the LT being introduced in late 1986 and the so called flat head silencer were basically from the same vender use to produce for Rajdoot that’s why it had many quality issues as Normal Rajdoot was very price sensitive model and it was for masses ! Your thought over right cylinder working is amazing as I have personally felt it many times during my long runnings as RD was my daily commuter for donkeys years Rest cheers
Really loving the video series bhai ! Didn’t knew Gautam bhai is from Lucknow, I’m also from Lucknow and own 2 RD’s would love to have a conversation and get my bikes inspected from Gautam bhai someday :)
It would have been better if the guest did most of the talking than the Host. How many HTs and LTs were officially made? And from engine numbers can one guess, keeping the later HTs given for government departments.
Gautam sir pls flash some light on metal thickness of 3 variants indian exhaust and us/uk spec exhaust And Pls do explain difference between Indian 2 types of exhaust baffles or mufflers with ball at end and without ball at end
Metal thickness is compromised on second Indian variant with flat end, last Indian revision and US is best in that regard. Ball end Rajdoot 175 baffle should be avoided on RD application.
@@GautamChatterji sir Rajdoot 175 mufflers hav different muffler end fittings won’t direct fit in rd exhausts I’m asking abt original RD mufflers with ball end coz I have them with me and definitely those are of RD not Rajdoot 175
Whatever it came from, RD never came with ball end baffle. You need proper baffle. Alternatively, take it to some experienced RD mechanic, he should be able to sort it out by removing the ball.
@@GautamChatterji You are right sir done some investigation on rd mufflers that ball type mufflers won’t come for RD there is a Rajdoot 175 variant which have RX 135 type exhaust system like chromed one and a catalytic converter type silencers in which the chrome variant (looks exactly same as rx135 exhaust Bt have different mountings) comes with ball type muffler. Coz of shortage of RD spers many automotive spers shop sold same mufflers for RD even today we see boom price for it
@@akshaysandbhorpatil2008 I’m glad you found out. I’ve seen this ball type baffle fitted on many RD’s and some I managed to fix by removing the ball. The RD with ball type baffle tube sounds somewhat like twin RX100, quite muted and strange sound signature, missing the growl.
Wow that’s awesome. I have a 1988 Jammu Police aution HT bike 😇
Lovely! Where are you and bike at present? 😃
@@RealAutoReviews thanks. I’m based at Bhopal. Please watch my bike’s videos on my channel. Thanks

Most welcome brother ❤️
Hi. Excellent video. Pl keep all the rd 350 videos in separate folder on your channel. It would be easy to find. Thanks.
Yes, that's the idea. Will do it soon! 😃

Okay. Thanks for your feedback.

It hurts to see that people have forgotten the 'Prajadoot 175' 🥲
No one has forgotten that bike bhai. This series is about the 350. 😃
