Enjoyed your tour. Even though, Grandeur of the Seas, is an older ship; I really appreciate all viewing windows. For some reason, seeing all the views, kinda comforting. All the views eliminates any claustrophobic feelings. Very informative. Hope y’all had a blast.
Nice tour. My friend will be on her in June as their first cruise.
I love the smaller ships because I actually feel like I am on vacation. The big ships has way to much going on that it feel like I am at an amusement park and not on a cruise vacation. Also on smaller ships you can hear yourself think and hear when someone talk to you. Thanks again for this video tour.
Thanks for watching! ☺️
Grand Cayman is one of my favorite Caribbean isles to visit where I exit the ship and turn right instead of the more popular left to the Seven Mile Beach.
Just a few yards down is a great snorkeling entrance area where you can get into the water, swim out a couple hundred yards and see some amazing coral reefs.
The drop off ledge is phenomenal where all the sudden it goes from +/- 15 foot depth to 50 feet and beyond giving you breathtaking underwater snorkeling experience
The beaches there are the BEST, the ocean floor feels like velvet on your bare feet
Wife and I honeymooned on Grandeur of the Seas in '97 during her inaugural season, our first RCCL sailing! Thank you for bringing back the memories. She looks to be in good shape, and we hope to have the chance cruise on Grandeur again!
She was our first RCCL cruise in 1999 - still love the size and how many places you can enjoy the sea (windows and outside spaces).
Great job on the tour. Best tour guide of any I’ve seen. Keep up the great work and I’ll check out your other shop tours.
Grandeur was my first RCCL cruise ship! Nice to see she's been recently updated in dry dock. The old gal looks good! Thanks for another great ship tour!
What a great ship tour. Just booked the Grandeur for November 1st for 9 nights. I loved the Jewel and Vision and this seems the same, just a little smaller. The casino upgrade looks great and since it is such a long cruise that will be nice! Thanks for showing this ship/
I sailed on her for the first time last June and chose her again this year for a Nov cruise. Also going on the even smaller HAL Volendam this summer. I love the smaller ships and hope they dont go away.
Thanks for the tour. We are going on Grandeur for the first time this coming December over NYE. We love the smaller ships. Have done Freedom, Voyager, and Radiance classes. Looking forward to adding Vision class.
Hey guys! It’s been a JJ and Chill kinda day. Grandeur looks great! I have her book in the spring then hopping on Liberty for a side by side. I love the older ships! Thanks for the awesome tour on both!
Thanks so much for watching!! Sounds like a great Nostalgic S2S Cruise Itinerary! 🥳
Thanks for the great video. We have two cruises this year on Grandeur and she looks in good shape.
Thanks guys! Going on her for New Year’s for 9 days! Should be fun to go to some new ports for me! 😎😎😎
We’ve said on Grandeur many times. It’s showing its age, that’s true. But it still is our favorite cruise ship. There is just something special about her and her crew.
We just came back from the Key West and Nassau itinerary out of Tampa to celebrate my 50th. We really enjoyed! The tango troupe was awesome
We are sailing on Grandeur later this week! Don’t know what they did during the dry dock?
Awesome. We are going on this ship in June.
Thanks for posting this!
Need suggestions of a place to eat near the port in our stop in PR. 🥰
Great video. Very helpful. I am worried about seasickness due to the size of this small ship. Any issues that you’ve experienced?
I can’t wait to get on this ole girl. We have sailed the newest in the fleet, Icon, and we will sail the oldest in the fleet. I was hearing the theme from The Love Boat as you toured! Thanks!
That's funny, The Love Boat is from the Princess Cruise Line. (But you probably knew that.) But ANY cruise, is a good cruise (well, most of the time).
Thanks guys! We'll be on the Grandeur of the Seas in July. Can you tell me if they still have the giant chess set on Deck 10? Thanks so much!!
Great video thank you :)
We will be on the ship on December- March,my question to you is there a different Lady G was in dry dock this year?
First cruise in June on her, thank you for the updated tour 💜🦄💜
Have a wonderful cruise!
Great tour! Thanx JJ tours ! Doing 9 day on this Lady 1 Nov. Very helpful info and video! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for watching! So glad you enjoyed our tour!
Great tour and update on the casino.
Is there a basketball court on this ship?
Love those Vision class ships on Royal Caribbean! So easy to get around. Sailed on three of them (Grandeur, Enchantment and Vision). I need to make it a priority to sail on Rhapsody sometime… It doesn’t seem much has changed since I first sailed on Grandeur in 2014. I would love to go on her again.
When they're full they're terrible, why I don't like smaller ships. They're sailing 100 and 100+, no where to go.
@@FelixTorres-wl5vtI guess I’m lucky - never had that experience.
So what do you think about this last refurbishment? Does she look nice and elegant, or does she still look tired? I don’t expect her to look brand new but I’ve been on some refurbished ships that still look very old. It’s hard to tell from the video. Thank you.
She’s definitely refreshed and better than Enchantment of the Seas. That said, she is still an older ship and has the older quirks.
Thank you for your reply.
This is my favorite ship from royalcaribbean I know she old but I like it I been her about 8 times. By the way keep up with good work like your video.
Wow, that's fan-fair. We will be sailing her in November for 9 nights!!!
I wanna go!😭 I miss Monarch of the Seas, similar to Vision. Sailed on Monarch with my brother decades ago, first and only cruise. 😭💔
I prefer the smaller ships. Glad to see RCI is keeping 1 of them in service.
Why does Royal Caribbean not have thermal areas in the spa like all the other cruise lines with hydrotherapy pools and whatnot?
Psst. Vitality Spa is Aft, not Fwd. 🤗
We are taking her in December. On the 13th. The anniversary of her christening.😊
How are the cabins after dry dock? Did they get any TLC?
Cabins were definitely reupholstered with same design. No new modern decor or design, but way better looking than Enchantment of the Seas. Cabins looked fresh compared to Enchantment of the Seas. 😅
Hey what do you know… I’m first to write this silly comment 😂
But seriously- looks like a beautiful ship
I did see a different in the ship!!
Bed bugs on 1st night. Medical and staff hide it very well, but my body bites were hard to deny. I did not appreciate how they treated me after knowing that there lack of cleanliness caused my discomfort. I will not come back.
I'm going in 3 weeks... this is alarming to hear. I have the owners suite so hopefully they've addressed this issue
Damn what room u had ?
So this is the year 2024? Are you also saying that you weren't compensated in any way?
Sorry to hear this. What cabin were you in?
So they denied it was bed bugs?
Is the Solarium climate controlled with the roof closed?
Where does the Grandeur sail out of?
I sailed on her out of Tampa last June and will be sailing on her again in Nov but this time it's out of Ft. Lauderdale.
I sailed on her last June out of Tampa and will be on her again this Nov but this time out of Ft. Lauderdale.
My wife, 2 kids (19 and 21) and I are thinking about booking a 5-night Caribbean cruise on the Grandeur of the Seas. Sailing in early July. Itinerary:
Day 1 Tampa
Day 2 at sea
Day 3 George Town, Grand Cayman
Day 4 Cozumel, Mexico
Day 5 at sea
Day 6 Tampa
Any hot tips to share? Does the pool deck and pool get crowded? Loungers get swooped up?
We are still deciding on drink packages and WiFi.
Going on her in a few weeks and then in August. Love this ship
me too!
@@bhaktipanchal4756 when?
We're going in August and hopefully get to Progresso which is why we booked. Never been there 😊
@@susankara7520 when in August? We are going 8/12/24. Just checked in. We have a small YT channel that we put out videos and content for folks. We were just on Grandeur this month.

Great video! But, my husband and I cruised on this ship last year and it was not a good experience. A lot of passengers were stuck up and unfriendly, the head waiter in the dining room was very rude to us and the food in the dining room was very bland wlth zero taste. The buffet food was pretty good though. However there isnt much to do on the ship as far as entertainment, not many shows. We found it boring and will never sail with RC again. I prefer Carnival, the food is wonderful, entertainment and shows are better and some of the passengers have a better vibe.
First cruise was on her.
Once you've sailed one of the smaller vision class ships, the rest of the RC fleet just seems to be lacking in something. Sad to see they've added the specialty restaurants and snobby concierge/class crap. I remember getting outstanding fresh sushi (free) back in the day.
OMG free sushi! That was so far back in the day Fred Flintstone went by in his foot propelled golf cart!😂😂😂
I took a Royal Carribian cruise once. It was like being in a floating trailer park with no way to escape. I still have PTSD from it.
You think that's bad, go on HAL !! Scooters and walkers are required items to board!😂
