Instructions For Making A Good Impression For Your Removable Veneers

This video explains the process of how to get a detailed impression from start to finish. This is the first step on the road to getting the smile you've always wanted using clip on dental veneers. (Music plays with Shiny Smile Veneers Logo Appearing) Your custom Shiny Smiles Veneers will be made from your home impression, a good impression results in a great fitting veneer. Follow these instructions carefully to achieve a good dental impression. Take the time and attention necessary to complete the process properly for the best result. Most people get it right the first time, but it’s critical to follow instructions carefully. Using a mirror and stop watch can make this procedure easier. Before you begin, make sure you have the correct size impression tray for both upper and if necessary, lower teeth. The tray should fit easily inside your mouth and your teeth should not be hitting the sides of either tray. The impression material should be at room temperature for at least 12 to 24 hours prior to making your impression. This will help make the process of combing the two parts into one impression material much easier. Lay out all your supplies and make sure you can complete the process without interruption. Step 1: Brush your teeth thoroughly and rinse out your mouth. Step 2: Find the impression tray the fits over all your teeth. Step 3: Remove the impression material components from containers labeled 1 and 2. Combine them using your clean hands to knead and fold the two components together until fully blended, no more than 30 seconds. Material should be a putty like consistency and one solid color. Do this quickly as the combined material will begin to harden within 45 seconds. Step 4: Roll the material in your hands until it is roughly the size of your finger. Press the material into the impression try making sure to fill the tray completely. Step 5: Fully insert the impression try into your dry mouth without touching any teeth. Center the tray on all teeth and gently push the impression try against your teeth using your thumbs, applying even pressure to both sides. Avoid rocking or wiggling the tray. Step 6: Using your fingers, press gently with one continuous motion for 5 to 10 seconds. Don’t bite down, and down try to talk while the impression tray is in your mouth. Step 7: Using your thumbs, hold the impression in place for 3 minutes without moving. Do not remove the tray before 3 minutes have elapsed, as this could cause the material to shrink or shift if it is not fully set, creating an impression that doesn’t include your gum line. Step 8: before gently removing the impression tray, ensure the impression has set by checking the texture using both your tongue and fingertips. With one smooth, straight downward motion, gently remove the tray from your teeth. Don’t rock, wiggle or angle the tray when removing it from your mouth, as this can compromise the integrity of your impression. Step 9: Repeat the entire process if doing an impression of your lower teeth. Using your index fingers, rather than your thumbs, to press and hold the tray in place for 3 minutes. Do not bite down or talk during this tile. Step 10: Do not remove the putting from the impression tray. After checking that your impression gives a clear picture of your teeth and gum line, without any tears, breaks or drag marks, allow your impressions to dry completely before inserting them into the return package provided with your purchase. Fill out the information card included and mail your impressions to Shiny Smile Veneers. That’s all there is to it! The Home Impression Process is simple, but it will require your complete attention and best effort.
Word of advice. Take pictures of your molds and get them approved before you mail them in. Otherwise, they'll find an excuse to sell you another mold kit. They don't tell you the first time that you can do this.

I received my impression kit 2/19/21 ,after watching video and I confirmed lettin putty sit for 12 to 24 room temperature before use . I was to excited to wait so I let mine sit in package closed inside cup of hot running water to In sure proper temp was met. My first top impression was accepted but not my bottom. I was sent out a second impression kit to redo my bottom free of charge. This time I read brochure completely says to send pic before sending off in mailing back impressions. So I did. That’s when I was emailed back within 25 or less minutes about my partial acceptance. Now need more putty to redo my bottom grill.
I just ordered mine 2 days ago. Im so excited. Im tired of hiding my smile. A Dentist put an off colored bond on my teeth and it looks like I've smoked and drank coffee from birth.

I haven't done my impressions yet, my sister passed away, and it set me back. I will do my impressions on friday, that way I can count how many days or weeks. I will let you know. My cousin got hers in about 2wks even tho they said 4-6 wks.

I have a question I got mine impression kit today, but some people say they take pictures from the tray first for aproval, they send it in an email to shinysmileveneers. Do you know if thats true? My impression kit just arrived 2-4-2021today im so excited. Can't wait to get the finished product. I do not like my teeth so I try not to smile. What if the front teeth can touch the bottom of the tray but the back teeth don't? In other words, they're not all at the same level. Is it more important to get the front teeth touching the bottom (or upper part) of the tray?

I got a root canal and a permanent crown on one of my bottom teeth last June. I got my impression kit in a few days ago. I’m nervous that the mold might pull out my crown? I don’t believe it’s loose though. Advice?
It should be fine, I just got my crown on Monday n did on Tuesday n it didn't come off.

White bright is probably the best way to go as it looks the most realistic and white. Pearl and champagne are meant to look like your Normal teeth without being bright white. I ordered the bright white and got them today they look very realistic and they don't look fake either.

They send em back immediately
Well I mean you have to have already paid or started a payment plan in order to get the impression kit in the first place.. So yes they will send the veneers after you send your impressions back and the veneers have been made.. At the point you send the impression/s back you have already paid for them..
How many impressions do I need of my bottom plate even if the first goes OK? Do I return the impression(s) in the same box that was shipped to me?

I received my veneers yesterday and they fit and look fine. What are the 4 white packets that come in the box used for? There's no writing on the packets at all.
The packets are denture cleaning tablets that you can use to clean your veneers, you simply put one of those tablets and mix with water in any container and then you drop your veneers there to clean it. if you have any more questions please feel free to call us or send us an email on info@shinysmileveneers.com

Yea but the problem is that there are 2 types of mouth pieces. WHICH ONE DO YOU USE? there is a no.2 and a no.4 labeled mouth piece.

Question here, if I get my veneers and am dissapointed with the color (as it is impossible to know how they will look in the mouth before receiving them), is that something that you would send out another set for or would I have to buy a new set in the other color?? I am willing to buy them now but I am just afraid I will choose the wrong shade. It's the only thing stopping me. I can afford one set but not two.

I saved up just enough for this! I considered pop in veneers and brighter image! Im scared to buy from this company because of reviews about scams or them keeping your money even if they don't deliver. Plus is it possible to get this with just one front bucked tooth?
I REALLY want to try these. I had braces a couple years ago. I can still fit and wear my retainers but my top front teeth from canine to canine are short and when I smile, you can barely see my teeth. I’m afraid that I’ll spend this money (like I did on the braces) and still not be satisfied. Is there a way that these could make your teeth look longer if needed? Like can I leave that in the “additional comment” of the cart??? 😂😂😂😂 I’m joking but very serious at the same time 😂😩

Finally after the third or fourth try they accepted my top impressions. I already received my fourth impression kit or possibly five lost count already hopefully this is my last one and I can get it right. I think they should give me a discount but I guess that’s how they manage. ☹️

I paid $50 for shipping to Canada but they dont give you a return kit/label/box to send back :( You have to pay separately to send back the impressions once they are done! Just a heads up.

Hello I have a really chipped tooth in the front of my mouth. That costs way too much to fix... I got this and paid almost a grand too see if I could hid it till I had the funds to fix my teeth. But your warning says no broken or chipped teeth? :( I already bought the impression kit. Please tell me I can still do it.
The good news is that you can still do it but of Corse we would advice you to try to fix your actual teeth as soon as you can :)

It matter if the tray showing above the gum line? Like every tooth is captured and showing gum line?
Why is there so many clays? Do we send them all? How does it work? Can the tray be slightly longer to cover all the teeth? Or can it be shorter towards the ends?
My impressions wouldnt come off it took twenty minutes for me to get it off. It was scary. What did i do wrong?

First of all that's not something you should worry from , It depends on your mouth morphology :) , with some people the impression just sticks more .

It's very confusing to see such a different statement on the card that says you agree to these terms, when online they offer3. I was told they do 3 remakes via email but I ammended the card to state as per the online terms, I hoping for the best and logging allmy interactions, and experiences for a blog review, hopefully things move faster ( it's been 2 months and I've only just gotten my impression kit)
I ordered the impress kit and it came in the mail 3 days later! I have just been procrastinating because I don't get much quiet time having 2 young kids. I just realized this morning that I have all bottoms and no top trays so we will see what happens! I will be in great practice for the uppers once this is over with! Hahahaha.

I’ve seen videos where folks are saying to make an impression within 30 seconds.. but your saying to keep it at room temperature for 12 hours before opening?
When you first get the kit you have to wait at least 12- 24 hours before you make the impression. After that time you take 30 seconds to roll the putty and start the impression
You wait that time so the putty comes to room temperature
Shiny smell is not what people say it is people's savings I ordered the impression rate they said they could not do the bottom at the bottom button top so I just wanted my money back because I want to instead of one I have to fight to get my money back with 58 emails from them back-and-forth It was not my fault that you can't do both veneers so I went to direct lab love it 298 down $24 a week my banners are gorgeous shiny smell does not backup what they say when it comes to too giving refunds back and replacing teeth

I sent in my impression kit and they lost it. I sent the receipt and tracking number as proof it was delivered now I get to start all over. Didn’t even get a reply to my email showing it was delivered. Not impressed so far.

Y'all have rejected my impressions 5 times. I've watched every instruction video, and am doing everything correctly. I'm so damn frustrated. Paying for the kit, then being rejected, and having to pay for 5 additional impression kits. I might just call it a loss. Congrats on getting my free money!

The top impressions were a breeze. Got accepted without having to call for assistance or to pay for another impressions kit. The bottom row impressions however...😮💨

Getting tired of this ! I did everything on video and keep rejecting my impressions
Tops were pretty easy to do after I learned what I did wrong the first time. Instead of 3-5 minutes of having the tray in your mouth, I did 6 to 8 minutes. And just in case u didn't know, send them pics of your impressions before you send them off so they can tell u if they look acceptable thar way you won't have to waste money on another impression kit
