Agreed!!! I didn’t see the movie, but I loved the series more than the book! It is a rare occasion for that to ever be the case - but the actors, music, filming, story was all perfection (even though it broke my heart in a million pieces and still creates an ache when thinking about how it ends 💔😭)

He did approach her in Greece but he said no strings wasn’t ready for a commitment but if she wanted to just have fun that’s when she got mad . He wasn’t ready to commit to her she knew he just wanted to sleep around like they said he was sleeping through all the classes at uni . She didn’t want to twinkle for him on the sidelines . He only loved her when they got together at the end .
Im going to be honest ! i saw all of it on Netflix. Honestly it shook me it made me think some thoughts that that's maybe were there and I put to one side? But I honestly think as a man we shouldn't be afraid to show how we feel! there isn't anything wrong about that, I know they are people doing their job and I understand that how we feel and what they say is different . but I'm a single guy and I shoudent have watched this alone. all I'm going to say is that you watch this if you can and take away from it what you will.
Same, watched with my dog and she had extra hugs and wet fur at various episodes. Was NOT expecting episode 13!!! Punched right in the feels. Didn’t want to carry on after that - took me a few days.. This show was 2 years earlier than my timeline and so many parallels to my life…

It’s harrowing but truly life affirming. It sums up why we love in this life and for me how I would want to be reincarnated as a human again if this is all true, to love despite the pains.

It did do its job (as others have said): it made me think of things I haven’t thought in a while (face grief and whatnot), face lessons I’ve been avoiding learning, and inspired self confidence. T’was its own unique tonic for the soul.
Both are insanely talented. in all their interviews,Leo is so quiet and reticent , that someone commented that he should read more to improve his vocabulary .great talent is usually borne of immense sensitivity ...he is not a candidate fir publicity through such interviews ...line redford and Brando and Anthony Hopkins ..the media needs to respect that ..we want to see this talent give us movies and series that enhance our sensibilities and trigger thoughts...meaningful thoughts. Ambika is a chatter box and is naturally inclined to voice her opinions and thoughts...attention seems to comfort her....Leo is begging to be left alone it would seem. Let's hope they both will be given the space to grow and remain seen in outstanding films .long overdue ...

Everything was amazing in this series, especially who plays Dex. The actor Leo. He is the soul. Fantastic great actor. But not sure f they picked the right actress who plays Emma I must say.
I think you missed the point. She comes across as a ordinary looking person, not a beauty queen. But she has such a witty, intelligent personality that she comes across more beautiful than a air head beauty queen. This makes the drama more real and likable
This casting was SO completely UN realistic. In real life, a guy THIS stunning and GOOD LOOKING as Leo Woodall, would never EVER in a million years fall for someone who looks like her. You just would not find it anywhere..!!! For eg. In real life, his girlfriend is a hot blonde, proving HE would never fall for a 3 when he is a solid 10....!!!! THIS IS REAL LIFE. They tried to do the dumb diversity thing to look ''right'' ,,,,, but it just looked extremely awkward and mis-cast...!!
I started to watch this and stopped a few times because it was a real bore. Will they, won't they....two spoiled entitled kids not facing reality and expecting life to give them everything they want, and partying and drinking like they had a right to anything and everything. I read reviews and picked it up again and kept waiting each episode for something to happen...but nothing ever did. I thought...ok, now it will happen...but it never did. So much time wasted on this movie😶
She is a great actress, but she wasn't right for that character. Everything they did the intimacy scenes that I couldn't relate to it. She hasn't got any sex appeal at all.
