I love the chemistry of these two, they are so genuine, funny and cute together. Nobody would have been better than them to play Em and Dex.

I was hoping that she was in a coma(eventually wake up) or that the episode would do a rewind to their conversation that morning. I do wish I never saw ep 14.

They had the spark even before they kissed. It was written all over their eyes and the way they just gazed at each other, like they're bound to be in each other's lives, regardless of circumstances

Thank you for not including the ep 14 scenes of Dexter crashing and suffering. Those were really really really hard to watch. This is the most rewatchable series I have seen on Netflix minus those scenes and that of Emma's accident. So precious! I could do without the cruel ending because ugly crying is overrated. Ultimately I am happy that I got to know these lovely characters and very happy for them that they found someone so precious in each other❤
do you know why those guys took him and beat him up? I don't understand why.
@@portaldolphin13 So in that scene he was telling the woman that Emma got killed today and she was playing with her phone and didn't seem to care. That really upset him so he lashed out at her and she yelled at him in return. The two security guys heard the altercation and thought he was a jerk causing trouble. So they beat him up. Why security guys do that? Not sure. To teach people a lesson? Just like the writer of this story chose to rip our hearts out to teach us a lesson about loss and the randomness of life 😐

What a beautiful love story. Perfect cast and brilliantly performed by Ambika and Leo. She is naturally beautiful, funny, and sarcastic at times, her hilarious facial expressions, the way she radiates pain or fear or confusion or delight through her eyes, He is charming, good-looking and effortlessly breezing through his role. He was perfect in his emotions especially showing sadness and those tears Leo. Well done!
I’ve watched it three times and I still love it. I think the chemistry between these two is phenomenal. What a great story. I think a lot of people are watching it over and over because it stays in the top 10.

Just finished watching it. It was... so devastating, in the end there's really nothing you can do but take deep breaths a step at a time - until you get over it yourself after watching this, hopefully sooner. It's like you lost something as well, and you feel the pain as the characters, and someday you know you'll heal. You thought you personally got over your own painful experience, and this show takes you back to that emotional experience all over again.
So in love with this series. I watched it because I was curious how Ambika would do the role after watching her as Shruti in "This is going to hurt" and I have seen the movie version before. But upon starting to watch episode 1, I got hooked. Am now a fan of Ambika and I loved her acting skills even more after watching this. Love the chemistry of Ambika and Leo in this movie!

This show was heartbreaking , gut wrenching and yet so beautiful. I was in complete daze for a whole week. Stellar performance and excellent writing.

I'm going to watch it again because I love it so so much but my heart just breaks, it's so beautiful and then she just dies and I just ugh, like I'm just in denial the everytime I remember she dies. So so well done.

Take a similar age and add the tumult of going into this with a similar dynamic with your best friend in what is currently the roughest patch you've seen in three years. 😢

I really like series version more than movie. More emotions, reaction, story could be expanded, expressed. Share some difference with movie:
1. A true “friend” character Tilly: I especially like Tilly this character, humor and sincere. Through her interaction with Emma, we could see more clear that Emma's "friendship" to Dexter is just an excuse of love.
2. Ian didn't refuse the connection with Dexter, he told Dex where he lives.
3. Sylvie had fight with Callum, and finally they ended the relationship, which reflects domineering in her personality.
4. Dex sit and cry alone to imagine Emma comfort him after her death.
Really appreciate Ambika and Leo and all staff to re-create this classical love story. The best re-creation ever!!!!

Like she said she had strong feelings for him in the early years but it was clear he wasn't really pursing a serious relationship and he had his own stuggles. The years went on and they started dating other people. When they find each other again the timing is off. Finally after many years they realize they always loved each other and get together but it's a cruel world and they don't get many years together before she dies.
