The ebikes have been awesome! We live in very hilly areas so it makes riding around much more fun. Definitely great to have off-road as well to be able to explore out from our campsite! Even though they are electric, its still a great workout and you can turn up or down the level of pedal assist.
You need helmets! Protect that noggin! True story- I ended up here (looking for a new bike) because I crashed my radexpand 5 yesterday when the front wheel came off and the fork got bent. I smashed my head against the ground but luckily was wearing my helmet. If I hadn't I would have ended up in the hospital.

Thanks!! Our fuel efficiency definitely has taken a hit with all the modifications we have. The rooftop tent alone knocked off a few MPGs. Once we added bigger tires, that actually had the biggest impact. Overall, we went from 28 to about 22 MPGs on average. Still worth it for all the fun we have with the RAV, and being able to more confidently explore & go camping.

Glad you're OK! We pretty much always wear helmets unless we are going slow just around camp. 99% of the time we do wear helmets ⛑️
