Great video!! Aesthetically I prefer the Quadcast with the lights off or dimmed as you said. But for the price and features I guess I'd go for the Wave 3.
Curious if you think that if the mics are both the same pirce which would you recommend. Im guessing based off the review that you would go for the Wave 3. In the US they are the same price on amazon right now and Im debating on either of them but not sure which I would prefer. Overall I think they hyperx looks better but I have too much RGB software as it is so not trying to add more just to add more. For the same price it seems the wave 3 is better but doesnt come with a shock mount, with a shock mount as an extra I am spending another 40 so not sure if the included shock mount makes it worth getting the hyperx over it. My only interest in the wave 3 software is if it is able to send music/soundboard stuff through the mic on discrord.
I been trying to figure out can you change the LED to white? I haven't seen anyone change it to white maybe its not possible?
The Wave 3 is a bit better, but the price difference in my country makes it a tough sell for me. I can get the Quadcast (non S, because I don't need RGB) for arround 100 euro and the Wave 3 goes for over 160 euro - quite the difference. Also, you can always tweak the mic to sound better with EQ, soo...I order the HyperX Quadcast . It's still a good mic for that amount of money. Cheers!
I noticed more background noise with QuadCast S
I would go for Elgato Wave 3. Sounds much better and doesn't look like mic for kids.
Wondering if you were changing or doing anything in edits to exaggerate the points in the video or anything else when recording the videos etc. Or is it raw audio? :)
Nope - the only change to the audio was a slight gain adjustment but no effects were on the test audio clips, it's still "raw"!
@@TechteamGB okay. And was that with the gain control on the mig or 3rd party? It sounds super clear to and I can't get my quadcast to sound as clear i don't think :)

omg because all those new mics i absolutely forgot about quadcast which was my top pick before all those new mics were released! dude you are awesome
also quadcast s is more expensive but non s is cheaper and only difference is the connection and rgb from what i can tell and i dont care about that honestly
