When it comes to support techniques, I feel like the “ten shadows” technique can be considered one. It’s quite versatile when it comes to support. Toad is good at bringing allies and yourself out of danger, and can hold others in place. Rabbit escape can buy you time for your allies to run away, and can possibly overwhelm the opponent, plus depending n the circumstances, it can figure out an opponent’s CT*(shown with Megumi and panda vs Kirara)* Nue is a good option for surveillance. When it comes to more offensive shikigami, they can be summoned during combat to assist you and jump the opponent, shikigami such as Mahoraga, totality dog, and merged beast agito. Another thing to mention, is that it also has round deer, which is capable of using reverse cursed technique on others, plus it’s positive energy is powerful enough to cause another sorcerer to lose control of physical objects strengthened by cursed energy. Basically, the ten shadows technique can do what most of the techniques here can do(excluding things like teleportation), hence I believe it could definitely make it in the top 5, with all we’ve seen. I will admit that yes, “Ten shadows” doesn’t do only well in 2v1s (or 2v2s), but also in 1v1s. But to me, I feel despite all that, “ten shadows” can be considered a support technique.
Seriously, Round Dear is slept on massively. Imagine using totality with Round Dear, Nue and maybe Gama. You would have a flying healer capable of using it's tongue to snipe your injured allies from the ground and heal them while flying to your team's base. Or using Rabbit Escape with Mahoraga's wheel to adapt to your opponent's attacks and the summon Mahoraga already adapted.

To be fair ui UI’s soul swap is the best support but only if prep time is involved. Regardless of that tho his teleportation still makes him top tier support characters in the verse
soul swap doesn't have enough use mid fight, you need permission to swap soul, you can't use all the time and it would be useless because it takes times to get something out of it, it took a month at itdori to be able use simple domain, and 8 month to be able to use Shrine. it make it less useful, it's more of a preptime thing than a support thing. His teleportation thing is a better support. But others are better

Boogie Woogie is the best for when you have impromptu fights with no prep time. Just throw yourself into combat. But in terms of preparing the best possible outcomes in a fight, I give it to Ui Ui's. Just the ability to bridge the skill gap for so many ways of using Cursed Energy is insane. It made Yuji learn BOTH RCT and Simple Domain within the span of 1 month. The Soul Swap is arguably insane considering how it might allow one to unlock specific feats only other characters have access to. But I will admit that in the unpredictable stages of a fight, Ui Ui does fall short in offering immediate effect.
Kirara is one domain expansion and a granade away from special grade I'd kill for an au where miwa gets replaced by her in the cast Edit: the touch limitation would probably be mitigated if she put the mark on a paintpall and shot it at her opponent

I feel like nobara's straw doll technique is quite good too, I mean we've seen her in duo with yuji. Having a heavy hitter distracting the opponent and just setting up for hairpin or resonance is good. Resonance damage the soul + stun the opponent for suite awhile so free damage from the hitter and resonance itself did crazy damage that can't be healed. The long distance aspect of the technique is really cook too.
Man if Todo had his hand played in the culling games then trained for 1 month and got reverse cursed technique he’d be a ridiculous sorcerer to deal with seriously for anyone imagine Sukuna throwing slices at todo and he at last sec swapping out with Sukuna and the combos and position changing he could do with yuji and everybody else is insane 😮💨
On practically the same note that you talk about the Obstacle Removal curse, I'd consider Higuruma to have one of the best support techniques due to his ability to cripple the tools and techniques of almost anyone, his domain could also be used tactically when an ally is about to die so he could pull the opponent away to a safe space, and also since he can give the excecutioners blade to others, he's got some of the best support abilities in the series, in a lot of ways he is still carrying the fight against Sukuna imo
Can you even IMAGINE a jumping squad of Yuji, Rabbit Escape, Todo, and Larue? Rabbit Escape and Boogie Woogie get so much more mileage because you can now swap to any of the shikigami at will. You can’t see the Cutie Honey user in the rabbits and the swaps. Yuji can fucking jump outta nowhere and punch your ass THE POTENTIAL JUMPINGS BRO WE MISSED OUT AFTER BOOGIE WOOGIE DIED.
i don't really think any character besides gojo could control that much crows at once not because he has high CT output but due to the six eyes which makes his mastery over the consumption of CE close to zero meaning he'd never run out of CE but if you meant the viability of croes then yes they're pretty common here and there to control when none are nearby already

Him swapping souls is the only reason why they are still alive and able to keep up with Sukuna. It's how Yuji learnt RCT and simple domain and all the rest. I think the whole RCT not being a “technique” is very straight forward actually. Think about like this. It’s not a user only technique like a cursed technique however. In terms of Jujutsu it is by all means a technique. Think of fighting…say like boxing. There’s your basic boxing tricks the same way there is with Jujutsu (the standard knowledge). However…there a different techniques you can use to to enhance your boxing the more you practice. “RCT” is that for Jujutsu Sorcery. So imo “Reverse Cursed Technique” is a technique of Jujutsu itself and not an individual Cursed Technique.
one technique you haven't covered, probably because it's not a support technique in nature, is Mahito's Idle Transfiguration: the most basic application of the technique allowed the user to negate any damage dealt to the body as long as the damage didn't extend to the soul, and altough we've only seen him use this application on himself we can be pretty sure about him being able to do the same to others aswell. At that point you find yourself with someone that can take anyone that is on the brink of death and bring them back in a split second, that's better than what RCT and pain killer do combined. And we're not even taking into account every possible way this technique could be used for support: you could alter the shape of your teamates and make them stronger, faster and more durable; you can extend your hand and block almost any attack, you provide an almost infinite variety of attacks and the list goes on.
I wish so bad that Todo and his technique could return. I know he would get cooked against Sukuna but I would lose it if he was able to hit the clap for the final blow against Sukuna. Also even though Ui Ui and soul swap are probably the best overall now, I love the combat application for Boogie Woogie. It would be so cool to see him use it with other fighters. Or in a 3v1 as opposed to 2v1

Yuta might have also learned how to use Cleave by switching souls with Yuji, but we don’t know that for sure (it might explain his “We cheated” comment, though). That said, Yuta’s case is unique since he can copy any technique.
I will say this idk if it’s possible and if it’s effect would be greatly increased or not but imagine yuta being able to set a binding vow with cursed speech so that upon use it completely destroys his neck for a bigger effect on the ct and then just rct the damage to self
I think that people forget about the biggest weakness of boogie woogie, which is that those who are fighting have to be in perfect sync, messing up timing could potentially cause you to lose a fight
I think the reason why Cursed Speech's drawbacks didn't affect Yuta is because he integrated cursed speech onto that speakerphone, which then caused it to be destroyed. This is also possible because Nanami's Ratio technique was imbued onto his weapon.
i know curse manipulation is not a "support" technique but if it was added it would be either n.1 or n.2 for me. the versatility of having potentially infinite soldiers (and some of them having techniques or being capable to fly) that follow your every command is crazy. Imagine having the disaster curses absorbed and being able to have them cast domain expansion and even maximum technique for you. It grants versatility, firepower, protection, movement, range and so much more in one technique. Also if we assume that Kenjaku could only use idle transfiguration once because of the wide range he used it at, being able to literally steal a cursed technique from one of your curses is extremely overpowered. I'm telling you that Geto had the potential to beat awakened Gojo and literally slept on it 'cause he was depressed. He didn't achieve reverse curse technique, domain expansion, domain amplification, technique reversal and so much more. An idea for a technique reversal would be manifesting curses out of positive energy and having them heal you or sum. Basically for Geto the sky was the limit yet he stopped 10 feet above ground.
Nothing wrong with what you said I agree with a lot, curse manipulation can be busted. But geto wouldn’t be able to apply any sort of positive energy into his ct simply cuz positive energy is a weakness to curses, it goes against what they are. So if geto ever wants to heal himself, he can’t rely on curses to do that for him, he needs to do it himself, curses heal with regular ce unlike sorcerers. Also disagree with geto being able to beat gojo during round 2 toji fight simply cuz geto is as strong as his strongest curse spirit and then some, but there’s not a single curse spirit that can be a threat to gojo so geto’s ct is not very effective agaisnt him, which isn’t fair to say for geto since 99% of powers in the show are not as effective if used on gojo
This might be a bit wrong. But Ranta's Innate cursed technique has been labeled as "Paralyzing Gaze", according to the jujutsu kaisen wiki. It might not have been confirmed in the manga, but its the most likely name.
I don’t wanna be that guy, but the criteria is kinda iffy. Disaster forest can do everything the heart catch technique does but better. 10S can do everything that Nitta’s CT can do, and cursed corpse manipulation can do, but better. Ice Formation can do the freezing aspect of projection sorcery, but better. I guess overall they have a lot more utility offensively, but I beg to differ. A large portion of todo and Yuji’s fight with hanami was just adapting to the ever expanding branches he can create. Cursed buds can incapacitate enemies, and forces the defense against them without using cursed energy. The branches literally performed the heart catch dodge that Larue did in an offensive way with todo, but it obviously can be used in the same way. Flower field stops fighting spirit. It can also create quick get aways. As for 10S. Gama is a fantastic defense. It was able to cover Megumi in some of the most clutch moments. Catching Kami’s arrows, restraining todo momentarily. It’s able to hold allies inside too with Nobara in the detention center. Orochi can restrain tougher opponents, or at least it’s implied. Sukuna obviously wasn’t trying that hard against Orochi and broke it, but it seems like Megumi’s intended use of the shikigami was restraining. Round deer can heal. RCT isn’t a cursed technique, but 10S is, and Megumi doesn’t even have to learn RCT to use it. Rabbit escape is the perfect diversion. Divine dogs excel in tracking targets. Nue can do exactly what black bird manipulation does while also being large enough to lift its users off the ground and give them flight. Or anyone else. In fact, Nue is just black bird manipulation, heart catch, and Kashimo’s CE trait combined. Its support applications are severely underrated.
The case with junpei is just that junpei is a non sorcerer due to not having the same brain structure as sorcerers do even tho he has a hidden ct that he couldn’t unlock cuz of the different brain structure. What mahito did is use idle transfiguration to shape his brain structure to that of a sorcerer so that he can actually use his ct. Mahito can’t unlock people’s potential if they’re already sorcerers and have a ct
I feel boogie woogie while fantastic is given a little too much credit because we've only seen it used by the best duo in the best scenario (against 1 opponent). Yes if you two are great at working together boogie woogie can be a fantastic support technique. But while its disorienting for your opponent your ally is also kind of entirely in your hands. They cant control where you take them and you could just as easily disorient your ally as you would your enemy. The only reason it seems so good is because yuji and todo simply work so well together and practically read each other's thoughts as well as it always having been used by only one enemy. How well does it work when the numbers are even? what if your out numbered? what if your ally has heavenly restriction? for the last one you could at best only teleport the enemy or your ally's weapon around because you cant teleport something that doesnt have cursed energy. Unrelated but I feel Straw doll should have been on here somewhere. Its incredibly potent when its actual technique goes off but people undervalue the power of hairpin. Its never stated that nobata ever has to fire the nails just that the nail is imbued with her curse technique. If maki is going in doing the runs with sukuna she can slap plenty of those bad boys in his ass and nobara just mass detonates them like she did with mahito. Yes its absolutely massive if you cam chop a limb off and get it to her so she can resonance but hairpin is also very lethal

Great list, but my one nitpick is I would have Cursed Spirit Manipulation on this list because it has so much ridiculous support functionality. I mean, Ganesha alone being on this list simply proves how useful CSM is in this regard. There are ultra durable curses for defense, ones that can fly for mobility, etc.

Mahito has the best support technique. Half the plot was only possible bc of his soul manipulation. Awaken people as sorcerers, heal any injury (including those that rct can't), change someones physique to make them stronger, change a persons appearance to look like someone else, maybe even give everyone six eyes. There's no end to the benefits of being able to freely manipulate flesh. One of the few abilities that could probably seperate sukuna from megumi too.
Black bird manipulation is if you had dozens of Momos except if they were able to deal even the slightest bit of damage Although I do you think you’re downplaying it genuinely, flying and surveillance is incredibly useful. She’s integral in fighting Sukuna

Honestly if Todo was still able to use it and we fast forward to the final battle, it wouldn't have lasted terribly long if Todo was fighting along side the others. Like he literally could have ended the final battle within moments after waffle boy lost.

I feel like nobara's straw doll technique is quite good too, I mean we've seen her in duo with yuji. Having a heavy hitter distracting the opponent and just setting up for hairpin or resonance is good. Resonance damage the soul + stun the opponent for suite awhile so free damage from the hitter and resonance itself did crazy damage that can't be healed. The long distance aspect of the technique is really cook too.

On practically the same note that you talk about the Obstacle Removal curse, I'd consider Higuruma to have one of the best support techniques due to his ability to cripple the tools and techniques of almost anyone, his domain could also be used tactically when an ally is about to die so he could pull the opponent away to a safe space, and also since he can give the excecutioners blade to others, he's got some of the best support abilities in the series, in a lot of ways he is still carrying the fight against Sukuna imo

I think the whole RCT not being a “technique” is very straight forward actually.
Think about like this. It’s not a user only technique like a cursed technique however. In terms of Jujutsu it is by all means a technique. Think of fighting…say like boxing. There’s your basic boxing tricks the same way there is with Jujutsu (the standard knowledge). However…there a different techniques you can use to to enhance your boxing the more you practice. “RCT” is that for Jujutsu Sorcery.
So imo “Reverse Cursed Technique” is a technique of Jujutsu itself and not an individual Cursed Technique.

one technique you haven't covered, probably because it's not a support technique in nature, is Mahito's Idle Transfiguration: the most basic application of the technique allowed the user to negate any damage dealt to the body as long as the damage didn't extend to the soul, and altough we've only seen him use this application on himself we can be pretty sure about him being able to do the same to others aswell. At that point you find yourself with someone that can take anyone that is on the brink of death and bring them back in a split second, that's better than what RCT and pain killer do combined. And we're not even taking into account every possible way this technique could be used for support: you could alter the shape of your teamates and make them stronger, faster and more durable; you can extend your hand and block almost any attack, you provide an almost infinite variety of attacks and the list goes on.
I wish so bad that Todo and his technique could return. I know he would get cooked against Sukuna but I would lose it if he was able to hit the clap for the final blow against Sukuna. Also even though Ui Ui and soul swap are probably the best overall now, I love the combat application for Boogie Woogie. It would be so cool to see him use it with other fighters. Or in a 3v1 as opposed to 2v1

Yuta might have also learned how to use Cleave by switching souls with Yuji, but we don’t know that for sure (it might explain his “We cheated” comment, though). That said, Yuta’s case is unique since he can copy any technique.

I think that people forget about the biggest weakness of boogie woogie, which is that those who are fighting have to be in perfect sync, messing up timing could potentially cause you to lose a fight
I think the reason why Cursed Speech's drawbacks didn't affect Yuta is because he integrated cursed speech onto that speakerphone, which then caused it to be destroyed. This is also possible because Nanami's Ratio technique was imbued onto his weapon.

i know curse manipulation is not a "support" technique but if it was added it would be either n.1 or n.2 for me. the versatility of having potentially infinite soldiers (and some of them having techniques or being capable to fly) that follow your every command is crazy. Imagine having the disaster curses absorbed and being able to have them cast domain expansion and even maximum technique for you. It grants versatility, firepower, protection, movement, range and so much more in one technique. Also if we assume that Kenjaku could only use idle transfiguration once because of the wide range he used it at, being able to literally steal a cursed technique from one of your curses is extremely overpowered. I'm telling you that Geto had the potential to beat awakened Gojo and literally slept on it 'cause he was depressed. He didn't achieve reverse curse technique, domain expansion, domain amplification, technique reversal and so much more. An idea for a technique reversal would be manifesting curses out of positive energy and having them heal you or sum. Basically for Geto the sky was the limit yet he stopped 10 feet above ground.
Nothing wrong with what you said I agree with a lot, curse manipulation can be busted. But geto wouldn’t be able to apply any sort of positive energy into his ct simply cuz positive energy is a weakness to curses, it goes against what they are. So if geto ever wants to heal himself, he can’t rely on curses to do that for him, he needs to do it himself, curses heal with regular ce unlike sorcerers. Also disagree with geto being able to beat gojo during round 2 toji fight simply cuz geto is as strong as his strongest curse spirit and then some, but there’s not a single curse spirit that can be a threat to gojo so geto’s ct is not very effective agaisnt him, which isn’t fair to say for geto since 99% of powers in the show are not as effective if used on gojo
This might be a bit wrong. But Ranta's Innate cursed technique has been labeled as "Paralyzing Gaze", according to the jujutsu kaisen wiki. It might not have been confirmed in the manga, but its the most likely name.

Disaster forest can do everything the heart catch technique does but better.
10S can do everything that Nitta’s CT can do, and cursed corpse manipulation can do, but better.
Ice Formation can do the freezing aspect of projection sorcery, but better.
I guess overall they have a lot more utility offensively, but I beg to differ. A large portion of todo and Yuji’s fight with hanami was just adapting to the ever expanding branches he can create. Cursed buds can incapacitate enemies, and forces the defense against them without using cursed energy. The branches literally performed the heart catch dodge that Larue did in an offensive way with todo, but it obviously can be used in the same way. Flower field stops fighting spirit. It can also create quick get aways.
As for 10S. Gama is a fantastic defense. It was able to cover Megumi in some of the most clutch moments. Catching Kami’s arrows, restraining todo momentarily. It’s able to hold allies inside too with Nobara in the detention center. Orochi can restrain tougher opponents, or at least it’s implied. Sukuna obviously wasn’t trying that hard against Orochi and broke it, but it seems like Megumi’s intended use of the shikigami was restraining. Round deer can heal. RCT isn’t a cursed technique, but 10S is, and Megumi doesn’t even have to learn RCT to use it. Rabbit escape is the perfect diversion. Divine dogs excel in tracking targets. Nue can do exactly what black bird manipulation does while also being large enough to lift its users off the ground and give them flight. Or anyone else. In fact, Nue is just black bird manipulation, heart catch, and Kashimo’s CE trait combined. Its support applications are severely underrated.

The case with junpei is just that junpei is a non sorcerer due to not having the same brain structure as sorcerers do even tho he has a hidden ct that he couldn’t unlock cuz of the different brain structure. What mahito did is use idle transfiguration to shape his brain structure to that of a sorcerer so that he can actually use his ct. Mahito can’t unlock people’s potential if they’re already sorcerers and have a ct

I feel boogie woogie while fantastic is given a little too much credit because we've only seen it used by the best duo in the best scenario (against 1 opponent). Yes if you two are great at working together boogie woogie can be a fantastic support technique. But while its disorienting for your opponent your ally is also kind of entirely in your hands. They cant control where you take them and you could just as easily disorient your ally as you would your enemy. The only reason it seems so good is because yuji and todo simply work so well together and practically read each other's thoughts as well as it always having been used by only one enemy. How well does it work when the numbers are even? what if your out numbered? what if your ally has heavenly restriction? for the last one you could at best only teleport the enemy or your ally's weapon around because you cant teleport something that doesnt have cursed energy.
Unrelated but I feel Straw doll should have been on here somewhere. Its incredibly potent when its actual technique goes off but people undervalue the power of hairpin. Its never stated that nobata ever has to fire the nails just that the nail is imbued with her curse technique. If maki is going in doing the runs with sukuna she can slap plenty of those bad boys in his ass and nobara just mass detonates them like she did with mahito. Yes its absolutely massive if you cam chop a limb off and get it to her so she can resonance but hairpin is also very lethal

Great list, but my one nitpick is I would have Cursed Spirit Manipulation on this list because it has so much ridiculous support functionality. I mean, Ganesha alone being on this list simply proves how useful CSM is in this regard. There are ultra durable curses for defense, ones that can fly for mobility, etc.

Ofc he can’t any more tho but I am surprised Yuta did not use it at all. Mahito has the best support technique. Half the plot was only possible bc of his soul manipulation. Awaken people as sorcerers, heal any injury (including those that rct can't), change someones physique to make them stronger, change a persons appearance to look like someone else, maybe even give everyone six eyes. There's no end to the benefits of being able to freely manipulate flesh. One of the few abilities that could probably seperate sukuna from megumi too.
