@@theperchjerker can you not use drones in caCali?, as far as I know there is no legislature regarding fishing the only thing I've known is to not fly in prohibited areas I asked a gamewarden and they said I'm fine to do so.

Great video; I surf fish off Newport Beach using a Carolina rig with sand crabs for perch and corbina. Then a stiffer rod with 25 # test and watching your video will use the 4 oz. Sputnik setup! Thanks for the video! Jim

Is there any downside for using a line that's meant for a heavier load? My line is meant for 50lbs, but I just pier and surf fish and I doubt I'll ever catch anything that heavy. So I guess is it bad to use a 50lb line when I could ideally get away with 20 or 30lb?
