I got laid off last year too. It was so unexpected and life changing. You have endured so many struggles. Your positive attitude and drive are so admirable. You are truly an amazing person with a very healthy outlook on life. Youre so well spoken; I could listen to you talk for hours.

man I COMPLETELY agree with this video! people are so frustrating when they see a problem but only make excuses for why they can't fix it and don't use any action. I can't tell you how many trans people I have run into like that, you try to help them, and talk to them about how they can fix their life and they just come up with 50 millions reasons why they can't and why the world is against them. good video. I think more people need to see this video. thank you for making a video about this!

Great video! I often have the same problem with guys struggling to come out. There are two closeted trans guys here in town who just can't get up the courage to disrupt their place in the lesbian community or cause stress to their families. And here the hormones and surgeries are free and there are strong anti-discrimination laws. It's hard for me to be around them sometimes.

I really appreciate what you had to say about sexuality, and also about how it's nit healthy to compare our transition to others in transition. While I have always been very sensitive and slow to make change (started transition at 24yrs old) I really appreciate people like yourself & my best friend who started younger because they where head strong about their gender. It's brave and I respect it.

@REALlifeTEST i agree. ive experienced that also. non of us are any different we all have the same struggle to deal with our gender and make a life work the best we can. if we have the mentality that the world owes us, we will never be happy with what the world provides us with. its not easy... but u make the best of it, ya know.

Your view is very realistic, makes a lot of sense. Working hard at what a person wants, is a good way of getting whatever is needed.
Was that Ace sniffing at the cam/mic?

@Jimplicit it was quiet the blow to the face when the lay off came. i struggled a lot not just with losing the job but at the time i worked assisted living for adults w close head injuries and the lay off was due to a client unexpectedly passing away.. which was hard in itself. thank you for watching and thank you for the compliments. i just try my best everyday... to make the best of it and the best i can be. :)

@forsakenshane agreed! you create your own reality. If you think you can't do something then you can't do it. simple as that. there are so many people that need to see this video. If only it would just finally click for them.

You could talk about being a gay transman because most are straight and rarely do you hear from gay trans people. Thanks
