      For my Schilleriana crosses, I use untreated cypress mulch and a mix of course gravel ( stone) and LECA. In winter l add a layer of spagnum moss to the top and remove the moss in summer

    Great tips! That’s interesting your schilleriana likes it drier, mine has a self watering setup so it’s always moist and I also keep my schilleriana cross moist. Though, I did grow them both from seedlings so the roots likely just adapted to high moisture.

      I agree!!! Your baby Schilleriana took to its parent's care😀. I had stubborn teenage schillys that enjoyed courting death as soon as l looked at them sideways🤣
