    Diaz fought like he wanted to win. No goading or taunting. Threw a lot more kicks and knees than iv seen him throw in any fight. He looked incredible.

      That's because he had respect for Pettis. If he didnt he definitely would've been flipping the bird and calling him a bitch.

      Dylan Mounsey Bahah....flew over his head did it. Pat yourself on the back! Good job! He is right......and you are right. He might not 'mean' to poke someone in the eye.....but does nothing to stop it....fingers forwards swatting at hands. Intentional....hard to prove....but he could do more to avoid it. It works for him.....and happens waaaayyyy too often to be mere accident or coincidence. Most seem to avoid it.....DC does it frequently.

    • @shannond9945
      @shannond9945 5 лет назад

      Ryo Sanada I agree. Maybe no 'intentional'.....but DC definitely does not change his behaviour or try not to poke people in the eyes. He walks forward hands up pawing at people's hands and faces. The thumb was also a good example of how DC drives it in to the knuckle when he gets the chance.

    The Masvidal call out was great. And it wasn’t even hate. It was I respect him and I like him and he had a great fight but he’s not badder than me.

    Chael is an awesome analyst, because he understands the nuances of the sport, not just from a "been there, done that" mindset but, from an intellectual one. He can both recognize what's happening, such as Pettis wearing down, without turning around and acting like he was "done" or wasn't tough. Pettis is very tough, and never quit...but, he was wearing down, not in spirit, but in pace and conditioning.

    I will admit it, I was wrong. Diaz shocked the shit out of me. He was in the best shape ever, and he outboxed and outgrappled Pettis...while using LEG-CHECKS! A first for him, and he hurt Pettis leg on a legcheck. And as Chael mentioned he shot a takedown and got it. So he evolved. Wow. We may be seeing a more improved Diaz in his prime, and after a 3-year lay off.

  • @jukesfood5601

(His words, not mine)
