Hope everyone enjoys their Smell-O-Visions!
Will do, l can smell the mic from here
❤ I was always a fan of the small of old test track
I didn’t get mine yet😢
Why do I smell Axe body spray whenever you're on screen?
Thank you for the smell o visions, my good man!
It’ll always be Pirates water. I don’t care if it’s the same/similar on all boat rides, it’s always Pirates. And Main Street popcorn carts ❤️
How on earth did you comment this a day ago???
@@TheUltima_Werewolf magical time travel powers :) jk I’m a Patreon subscriber so we get early access to his videos.
@@cmtorr12 Oooooh that makes sense lol
I agree!
@@TheUltima_Werewolf Disney Magic
It’s that air early in the morning right before you enter the park for early entry. Specifically Hollywood Studios.
Or when you first step outside at like 7 am out of your hotel room
There’s just something about early morning Hollywood Studios vibes between the parking lot and main entrance that just hits different.
@@TheUltima_Werewolf for me it's right after you get off the mears shuttle or from whatever form of transportation you got to your resort. The air just smells like home to me.
I love the smell of Main Street, Pirates Water, and Remmy’s. But for more obscure scents, pretty much any “old ride” smell. Especially spaceship Earth. Something about it feels so cozy.
dallon, i’ve been watching your videos since hs and i’m now a college graduate with a 9-5 and they get me through the week pls never stop making these videos🫡
You've been watching for at least "about a decade mate"
Can’t wait until Tiana’s bayou adventure comes out and we get to smell beignets or however you spell that in the queue
Definitely "Comment of the Day"!
It's just Tiana.
@@_FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey_ my mad I used the microphone
Been-yayyyys!
1) That limestone smell from the old Polynesian Resort lobby fountain.
2) Orange groves in Horizons.
I miss the old fountain! It was so pretty! Plus I think they used to have birds around it too!
Living with the land, Bread Fruit Smell!!!!
Ughhnnhh the musty dusty smell of the Mansion, I'm obsessed. Ive always loved attic/ antique smell and it reminds me of like, a thrist store or something. There's just something about it that I cant even describe but iykyk.
Edit: The old air conditioner smell of the monorail absolutely counts towards my love of musty not-quite-pleasant but still cherished smells lmfaooo. Falls in line with the sort of old/ musty-ish smells I like, its judt super nostalgic.
Why did you edit that in, but not fix the typo of “thirst store”
@@SStarry_Days because it's a RUclips comment, not a spelling bee. You know what I'm trying to say, it's not that deep.
@@2doot drink water
@@SStarry_Days Yeah, alright smartass.
Horizons orange grove smell will always be my favorite. Number 2 would probably be the musky smell from the dinosaur part of Universe of Energy.
the flight of passage/fiji smell is my absolute favorite
I also really love/miss the orange grove smell on soarin, and the smell of the dirt when you're in Africa, and the jasmine during the india section.
Favorite smell will always be that pleasant metallic tinge you smell at Spaceship Earth, Star Tours, and other attractions. I've taken to calling it the "Disney Smell". I also enjoy the diesel smell of the trams, because it tells me I'm about to spend a day at Disney World
I want this candle! I know everyone loves Rome Burning, but that mix of A/C and grease you get right at the entrance of Spaceship Earth. Give me that.
One of the most beloved and well-remembered aromas in all of WDW was in EPCOT, Future World and on the Horizons dark ride. there was a scene in the ride that depicted the future of advanced agriculture technology, growing plentiful citrus crops in the Desert. Disney Imagineers places a smellitizer in that area to produce the sweet smell of citrus to compliment the scene. I believe Disney relocated that smellitizer to Soaren after Horizons was closed down in 1999. So many fans miss Horizons so much as it is rememeberd as having been the crown jewel of EPCOT, its popularity above that of Spaceship Earth.
The smells of Fiji on Soarin are so amazing
Agreed! Also the jasmine smell during the india section!
I have a dwindling stash of Disney H2o+ products (pilfered from several resort/DCL stays) that give me a little extra magic in the mornings. I’m sure the housekeepers thought I drunk the stuff…
Also, I didn’t receive my Smell-O-Vision. If you wanna save postage, you can just bring it with you to D23 and I’ll get it in person.
You paid for it. Therefore, it's not pilfering, just getting your $ worth.
Living With The Land is the best at everything. Sad to see other rides try to compete. Honorable mention though for the smell of champagne popping in Mickey’s Philharmagic :)
The oranges from Horizons and now Soarin’ will always be my #1 scent ❤
Suggested new scents for Magic Candle Company:
-- Candlelight Processional: Candle scented candle
-- Haunted Mansion Candle Man:
Also a candle scented candle.
missed opportunity to release the "inhale" video on 4/20
An honorable mention for the caramel store in Germany at Epcot, and the intoxicating garlic wafting from the France festival stands.
Now you're making me hungry 😂😂
This thumbnail is absolutely legendary, going into the hall of fame
Ok but there’s something about animal kingdom that smells really good. In some parts it smells like freshly chopped jalapeños and I LOVE it!!!
I feel like a good note of Pop Century’s lobby that you missed is a kind of green tea kind of vibe? like, a fresh and clean but still earthy and green?
I would absolutely adore a whole series of top 10 sense videos. Get them all in there.
I mean, it’s silly, I’m sure it’s all been talked about before, but not in this format!
1. The scent of fresh popcorn….2. Jungle Cruise water…3. The candy scent from the Candy Palace. 4.The early morning, just recently steam washed MainStreet….5. The smell from the Churro carts. ((These are all Disneyland smells))
Your last Disney Parks Smells list is one of my favorite videos of yours so this is another great from you. Also, Number 1 is clearly Skunk Figment’s Scent.
I need to order stuff from the Magic Candle company because I've always wanted to take a bath in the Pirates of the Caribbean water for some reason
bromine… hands down. 🏆
✨❤Bromine❤✨
In the 80s and early 90s, on The Universe of Energy, when you get to the past and see the dinosaurs. It always reminded me of Ham.
To add to the monorail, a bonus is the plant smell in the monorail cue at TTC! They smell like fresh bell peppers!
I have always enjoyed the smell of chlorine on The Pirates of the Caribbean ride, it always brings back fond memories of my childhood.
As someone who worked at spaceship earth while the smell machine malfunctioned, I'm glad you enjoy the scent of burning rome. We all got tired of that burning smell after a while. I do miss it though. I used to always get excited when on pirates, because it would smell like my home ride.
I also completely get the new ride smell, can't be beat, except, in my opinion, the smell of flight of passage. I only rode flight of passage once (because of nausea) and was in the queue one other time, and it's smell is very memorable. It's very similar to the oranges smell from soarin (might be the same smell even) but it has that slight new ride smell still, and it just feels so fresh and crisp. I love it.
Oh and honorable mentions just for being very memorable rather than a favourite: Karamell-Küche and canada maple popcorn
Rome burning in spaceship earth is a top tier smell for me! I love it!
My smell-o-vision worked just fine. 👍
My favorite scent is The Haunted Mansion. 👻
Glad you got it on time! It makes the video sooooo much more immersive!
I did the behind the seeds tour and I highly recommend. It’s really cool to be able to see behind-the-scenes
still digging through a pile of discarded Amazon boxes looking for that lost Smell-O-Vision delivery
Never been a fan of confectionary corner, but damn that bromine water... LOVE IT!
I got a little bit of that new ride scent in the queue for Guardians but it was mostly packed with sweaty people so the smell got overpowered. But I went to Super Nintendo World at Universal a few months after it opened and man, that entire land smelt like a new car. Especially the Mario Kart ride, it smelled very clean and modern.
Honsestly one of my favourite and most unique theme park smells is “standing near the Turkey leg stand”
Never realized there was such a thing as new RIDE smell but ur so right 👏 first comment as a patron!! ❤
i still have an old h2o soap or something from my first trip back in 2015. it has the mickey cap and everything! anyway my favorite smell is either the old dark ride smells or that really obscure smell that only happens when the walls go up and that awful steam blasts you in journey into imagination. or maybe the contemporary smell. the resorts never miss.
I'm lucky enough to have gotten my hands on the resort hotel soap and shampoo with the Mickeys on it that they used in the early 2000s 🥰 I can never use them, but I smell them often
Omg I have so many of those 💀
@@TheUltima_Werewolf I had a bunch as a kid but they all got used or lost. I found some being sold a couple years ago and I was ecstatic
@@RyanRafulsII My mom kept all of them but I have no clue what she did with them. I know they're around here somewhere because when we moved I saw them
One of the LOOONG gone shops in WDW I miss the smell and ambiance of is the beloved Magic and Fun shop on Main Street. It was just so great, with the red velvet curtains, incredible assortment of little close magic tricks, full head rubber masks, and other cool things to appeal to the kid in everyone who visited in the early 70s . Can you tell I miss it? Probably as much as Dalin misses the DL People Mover.
Fully understand!
Bread smell from Ratatouille is amazing!
As someone who lives on a ranch in central Florida, the Land Pavilion smells exactly like a paddock, dirt and all.
Well, that’s a video title. I never thought I would watch in full. Thank you.
Very fun.
I always take a big sniff in right before the jump point on cosmic rewind
My favorite WDW smell is Karamell-Küche, the bakery the at the Germany pavilion at Epcot. 🧡
best scent at wdw is the cherry candy scented bush at the bus stop behind the manor side of port orleans resort. it was like stop 3 or something. but it made my only disney trip so special
Laila in Norway, Soarin's African dirt/grass, the India and Fiji scenes were really the only super memorable smells for me. I'm sure I smelled great stuff but not that I remember like those few.
My top smell is the smell of Fort Wilderness, especially around the beach. As a kid, we stayed here almost every year. When I went back as an adult with my husband the nostalgia brought tears to my eyes.
Top 3 for me:
3. Peoplemover, first thing in the morning when there's no sweat on people and riding in crisp morning air
2. Polynesian Lobby, went for O'hana and immediately noticed how great it smells
1. Rome Burning
Dole Whip…. in Adventure Land, Churros, and Popcorn everywhere..
My favorite smell has to be the smell of a brand new car in a dealership in the first launch of Cosmic Rewind. Truly makes me know what space would smell like.
I went to Disney for the first time last year. My friend's son, who is also a RUclipsr, was telling me about the nostalgia he felt whenever he went on water rides at Disney due to the unique smell.
The smell of the bromine stuck with my as well that day and I'm looking forward to all the smells again in 2 weeks.
Eastern Airlines "If You Had Wings" was the best smell.
The break into an Australian accent absolutely killed me, I laughed so hard
yeaaaaah!! living with the land keeps on winning!
I tried out Main Street Memories and they have great candles!
Can confirm! After riding Guardians at the beginning of the month, I love that after almost two years it still smells brand new! I associate the new smell with that ride lol. Tron has a new smell all its own imo
I appreciate the love for Pop Century it’s an underrated resort (I’m biased because I work there)
Great video, as always! These are all solid choices, but I would add the smell of baking bread at Remy's Ratatouille Adventure to my list of favorite WDW smells.
Pirates, and Spaceship Earth for attractions! But the scent memory that I will never forget, is the El Centro lobby at Coronado Springs! I visited in 1998 and again in 2019 and it brought back some really great memories.
Haunted mansion, pirates of the Caribbean, and the Hollywood Tower, Hotel
Is video is nuts and I love it. Amazing. Can you do one about the smells they use to block out smelly parts of the park? For example, there is rosemary and other fragrant plants around bathrooms and vents. It is really amazing stuff
At least 2 viewers here from Oceanside, Ca
All the choices are great. The pirates smell isn't just the water. It's the combo of the water and the smokey undertones when you go down the chute into the pirate ship scene. That smells different than the rest of the ride. I also love the smell in the Rapunzel bathroom (if nobody stunk it up). We stay at the French Quarter. That smell by the indoor water fountain is awesome also.
My favorite somewhat deep cut smell is Clarabelle Cow’s float in the Christmas parade. You can smell the gingerbread cookies that she is baking on the float.
The popcorn stands and Soarin's orange groves are my personal favorites
See what you done. Now I have my Magic Candle Co. Tiki oil diffuser with Pirates Life making my house smell like Disney.
❤ Thanks
Even though I'm in my college dorm right now, I had just happened to bring my H2O+ Body Lotion from home (that I had stolen from Disney years ago) a couple weeks ago. I hadn't used/opened it until you listed it, so then I immediately used it and I was instantly transported back to the Disney hotels.
Missed my favorite. Animal Kingdom Lodge 🦒
Since the Candle Company included a Pirates water scent, and that's basically in the rainforest section of Living with the Land, you could say they do have a Living with the Land candle, it's just marketed poorly.
My favorite park resort scent is Animal Kingdom Lodge. That sh** is LEGENDARY
The smell of both the swan and dolphin is amazing!
Now, I AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE AMAZING WDW SMELLS! BUT... you CLEARLY forgot the number 1, proven by scientists, 100% AMAZING WDW smell... The Journey Into Imagination burnt coffee scent in the smell Lab lol
top four favorite scents in no particular order because I can't chose a favorite favorite (including ones no longer available) 1. Rome burning 2. Pirate's water 3. the Backlot tour 4. Orange groves on Soarin over California.
Thanks for the smell-o-vision! Now I can finally smell Florida!
I love Magic Candle Company!!! My favorite is Banshee Flight! But all MCC scents I have bought are great!! I miss the hand sanitizer they used to sell. This was a good video!
Some of my favorites include Flight of Passage, Soarin Around the World, and Karamell Kuche.
Oh my god! I love Space 220! It was like they took a bunch about what made the Starcruiser amazing and put it all in one restaurant.
When you make it to smelling all around disney land there's something special about the Grizzly Peak area its disney water and forest a very nice combo
I never thought I'd see a video about this topic. This channel really is top notch! Thank you for your time, your knowlede, your research, and your enthusiasm for making these videos. Your channel is one of my top favorites to watch and get excited for when I see a new video is out!
Honestly, this list is correct
The water smell on Pirates is the best. Plus the popcorn is a close second.
The smell of the Carribean Beach Resort lobby is one of the best smells at WDW
When you get to DCA, I love the smell of the trees by Grizzly River and the California Grand. Plus it's shady.
All the smells in Philharmagic. Particularly, the Be Our Guest Scene and the champagne.
I wasn’t expecting pop century to be on this list but I couldn’t be happier that it is😭 that’s my BOY right there
1. Port Orleans French quarter resort
2. Pirates water
3. Mexico pavilion (gran fiesta tour)
They just put up a "smellephant" in storybook circus. Haven't turned on the smell yet.
I actually have the Pirate Life wax melt so my Smell-O-Vision really worked during the ad break!
Offhand…this is easily one of my favorite videos of yours (sorta because it’s a new video concept, but mainly because you just describe everything so well). Awesome work with this one and all the others too!
Polynesian is easily my personal favorite, but all of these are super respectable!
Thank you for sharing the story with us 📙
My favorite is the industrial/plasticky smell at the entrance to Spaceship Earth
Port Orleans Riverside lobby. It's honestly indescribable, but I could sit there for hours just breathing in that smell.
I miss the orange scent that H20 used to use. I also love the scents on SOARIN.
I'm pretty sure if you were old enough to experience it, you'd have Horizons at #1...by a mile. I am with you on the choice for livin' with the land. but imagine that scent mixed with sweet orange..you'd agree it would be the best scent in Disney history.
Very glad that Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe made the list 🎄
Aloha Daylin..well I can tell you..nothing beats the smell of a couple of families with three kids each in an elevator after a day at Disneyland...the mix of candy, food and just human is substantial....my hats off to those mom's and dads
Now..that is Off Hand buddy!!
And sunscreen! So much sunscreen!
