Yay! Another video! I'm trying to get in to RC on actual courses as I've only bashed in the past. TY for the videos! Hard to RC while OTR trucking, the videos help with the urge! I just got a B6.4, will be building it this weekend!
A little friendly set up suggestion. Unpack the diff and it will turn better. Get a set of the Traxxas "big bore" shocks. They'll come with the Slash's stock springs. Replace the springs with stock Rustler/Bandit springs. Those springs are straight-rate and won't lean as much in corners.
Man everyone lights up the slash when I ask about racing it, looks like it does decent. I'm thinking of getting the ultimate 4x4 just to get my feet wet in club racing
When I watched this video yesterday/last night (Aus time) I remember there two or possibly three flavours of those Proline shocks. Like racing or GT, then bashing flavoured, big bore (?) I think they were. And maybe the third had dual springs or preload, so you can really tweak it up. At any rate there has to be a magic combo of dampener and spring somewhere for the Slashido. And yes Taco Bell and monster truck is fitting way to end a day of racing. Look forward to more indoor racing.
Homie, use what you did to your bandit. Remove those metal shocks (your not bashing) and use the stock shocks and use different shock oil in them. Good run tho by the way. Keep this in mind. You dont want a hole lot of metal parts on your slash because it added weight. More weight means slower speeds (depending on what your motor is). Do some adjustments when you do and you should be fine.
Thanks for being back - I was missing your funny content so much! I always enjoy watching you stuff with a coffee in the morning. Greetings from Germany. Btw There's a German car licence plate hanging in your race Club 👍
I'd stsrt over on the shocks. I was able to find a good setup using the stock shock bodies with alum caps, and AE sc10 springs grey (hesviest) I have since swapped to prolines but for indoor clay I'm having a hard time with them. They are a little longer and they have dual springs rates, so my theory is they may be better for a larger outdoor track. But i would go to some dedicated sct shocks, lots of ppl swear by losi sct shocks. Another upgrade to try is proline wide control arms. There used tl be a kit with wheels but you can still buy everything separately arms and wheels. You'll have to get creative with the links to accommodate, I picked up some from a 4wd slash.
I think the bandito is a little cooler. Wish you’d do more with that one. We’ve been messing with one with just slicks and a 28t pinion. It’s been fun AF.

Man I wish we had more short course racing around my area
Yup

That sounds like a really good tip. Do you happen to know what rims he's running?

If your not serious about racing slashes 4x4 will be competitive enough. It won't match a tekno though
@@gateguardninja I'm not serious enough lol I know I'll build a kit and it'll sit there where as I'll get the ultimate and use it all the time
@@TEExCASH I run a slash 2wd and 4wd for the same reason haha
Losi 22sct 3.0 shocks for the win. Best shocks you'll ever use!

Good job RC🤗😄👍

That’s awesome!! Thanks for watching I have relatives over there somewhere
It's crazy out of all my rcs I still like my brushed 2wd slash the most. Something about it

Hoping to start racing at Big Dog in a few weeks. What tires do you recommend for 2wd sct at Big Dog? I'll be coming for the slashito! (eventually🤣)
Any super soft or ultra soft slicks work good . bring it!!
Taco Bell and a Monster Truck IS A GOOD DAY!!
I'm honestly surprised you haven't had a slash body painted like the rest of your cars.
I probably should. Ur right!

There’s more on the way
I would like to see the conclusion of this. It was darting around alot. Truck broke? Does the track do that? Tires bald?
Track layout was bumpy and tires are slicks.
@@mxacres spoiler alert!!! I’m waiting on the video. Tires bald? I must have been drinking
I would go back to stock shocks all around with the AE springs and 35 all around.
You are gonna love the LMT! You gonna build a LMTito? lol
😂
Nice vid
Man You only rent Taco Bell 😂😂😂😂
You pay at the toilet
have u tried the JC P2 bodies for both ur buggies?
Have not
Diff
what rims are used on the slashito?
I’m not sure. I got them used
@@mxacres then it got a bit more complicated and i need to search the internet after similar rims.
i like the look and stance it gives your slash.
There's a reason for the ASS in Traxxass
Booooooo
