The composer and conductor of the universe Steps before the orchestra of God Creation lifts their finely crafted instruments As all in heaven wildly applaud The seasons well rehearsed begin with His downbeat And on his cue the sun trumpets the dawn The whirling winds swell in a mighty crescendo With each commanding sweep of His baton The oceans pound the shore in march to His cadence The galaxies all revolve in cosmic rhyme The fall of raindrops all in wild syncopation As lightning strikes and thunder claps in time The symphony of praise Conducted by the Ancient of Days May each creation great or small Lift their voices one and all In the symphony of praise Heaven waits in hushed anticipation The great I am then turns to mortal men A massive chorus robed in spotless garments Offer up their song of praise to Him The glories of God explode in full orchestration As all creation joins the thunderous refrain "Worthy, Worthy WORTHY IS THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN" The symphony of praise Glory to the Ancient of Days May each creation great or small Lift their voices one and all In the symphony of praise "Worthy, Worthy WORTHY IS THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN Worthy, Worthy WORTHY IS THE LAMB" The symphony of praise Conducted by the Ancient of Days May each creation great or small Lift their voices one and all In the symphony of praise
You know there really aren't words to describe how special are these moments you create with song and spirit. They are moments we can commune with and enjoy our Heavenly Father in richness.

Great job!! This is my second favorite Steve Green song ever! My favorite is People Need the Lord which I hope CBU choir and orchestra can perform one day if they can find an arrangement for their size group! I hope and pray they can for sure!!

thank you for uploading this. i have been looking for a good choral version of this arrangement, i have always loved this song and it is one of my favorite hymns.
Yes, stage lights wash out faces so make-up is very helpful to avoid looking featureless. You/we would probably complain if they didn't use makeup under bright lights but we're not here to concern ourselves with make-up..just enjoy their hard work and music quality. I work a little with tv cameras at church broadcasting to 700 stations/wk-at times cameras do strange things with some colors even HD cameras. Some colors still just don't come out true to life-and yes, we've got new HD equipment!.
Probably not worth losing sleep over. Yes, it is a bit showy, but if that's how they've been taught to perform, it's sad, yes, but they can still glorify God through it.
Why do you think it is a Baptist Church Choir in an Adventist Church?... Really why does it matter?... It is A University Choir and Orchestra that is Under the Baptist Faith, however the students are mixed with many denominations... When you are praising God, nothing else mater... religion itself is man-made, and therefore the differences and disagreements are from Man NOT God!
@Mark OnTheBlueRidge God is Truth, Therefore, you're both correct. Religion is man-made but faith is not. Learn the difference. Just because you don't have a religion does not mean you have no God. Even athiests have faith in something, therefore, they also have a god. It is human nature to have faith, whether it's other people, material things, one's self, or the powers that be. Whatever it is in your life that you have the most faith in and dedicate a lot of your attention and resources to, that is your god. Faith determines your God, not your religion.
Just a question, do all the womean have to have curled hair and red lipstick? Because red does not look great on everyone...me inlcuded! Great song and orchestra though!
Glorifying God aside, I think what is disturbing is that this is a "university choir" being taught bad technique by a gentleman who has no education in the subject yet calls himself a "choral expert and trainer of conductors." And clearly he's no more a teacher than Harold Hill was. How do people like this get employed in a supposedly legitimate school music department?
do you mean inane and shame? huh. Please keep your words right. Be a real Christian(if you are?). I also don't like "contemporary Christian music" but please don't speak rude to other Christians. You only meant to say your an immature one.
It's troublesome to me to see young talent being improperly trained (or not trained at all!). Why all the drama with the stooping down & up again? Why all the glitzy hair & makeup? Why the overdone facial expressions? The music has plenty of drama all its own; but rather than being taught to intuit the expression that's already there IN THE MUSIC, these youngsters are being trained to put showmanship before musical integrity. And the diction, the vowels, the pinched sound--all lamentable.
these people are praising the Lord, why wou;ld you interject your own negative opinions on these praising hearts and souls???? Makes no sense, I think it's the most beautiful sound my soul could hear.
You're quite wrong. A recording can tell a lot about performance technique. The spread vowels, narrow resonance, poor posture, craned necks, tense jaws on words such as "praise" & "days", scooped pitches & lack of overtones--to say nothing of the distracting choreography that further inhibits good choral sound--are all evident here. Too bad, because there 's obviously plenty of talent in the group. Talent should be cultivated, not hidden behind Vegas theatrics.
are you people joking? I can't believe you find criticism and negativity when the name of the Lord is being praised! What a shame people find everything a problem. Priase God for these young people willing to shout out the name of the most high!

The fall of raindrops all in wild syncopation

The symphony of praise
Conducted by the Ancient of Days
May each creation great or small
Lift their voices one and all
In the symphony of praise
Heaven waits in hushed anticipation
The great I am then turns to mortal men
A massive chorus robed in spotless garments
Offer up their song of praise to Him
The glories of God explode in full orchestration
As all creation joins the thunderous refrain
"Worthy, Worthy
WORTHY IS THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN"
The symphony of praise
Glory to the Ancient of Days
May each creation great or small

Where can I possible purchase the orchestra sheet music of this version?
nice..
I want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....:P:D
If you only knew how WELL these singers were trained. You can't gauge their training on a poor recording.
Where can I get the cd?
@klebermusic..the makeup is because they are in lights. Why does it matter if they have make up on or not anyway.
Baptist church choir singing in the Adventist church campus hill.
Actually I meant "inane". Look it up.
Hi! Good day, where can we get the accompaniment used in this performance? Thank you!
I Have the accompaniment track
@@danifv769 can u please send the accompaniment track to rebeccajob.ksv@gmail.com
하~~ 또 들어봐도 표정과 찬양은 천국시민의 모습입니다.^^ 미국이 다시 예전 청교도 시절 순수했던 복음의 시대로 돌아갔으면 좋겠습니다.

Do you think the stooping down allows them to take a full and supported breath? Not "werthy" indeed! A religious show choir perhaps?
The swaying distracts from your message in aong.
over the top. showy expression. cheesy.. like the joyfulness tho

Wonderful singers, but with so much make up!
What a waste of musicians and space. Today's "contemporary Christian music" is horribly inane. What a shame.
