Good review Steve, when I did my LED upgrade on our 200 I adjusted the headlights down a tiny bit and have had no dramas at all. Mine have braided heatsinks, no fans and have been going strong for 2 years. Cheers Steve

Easy way to tell if they're legal is check the product packaging.....is it marked "ADR approved"? If not, then 99% chance they're illegal.
If a company has ADR Approval, they are almost 100% likely to announce that fact on their packaging.

I will be looking in to getting this for my cruiser cause im not a fan of those bright stuff where people keep flicking you down thinking you have the high beams on so thanks for this and just a question how are they holding up now?

      Really good so far still.
Only ever been flashed once but I was towing fairly heavy and the arse of the car was sitting right down.
I’m still super happy with them, it’s such a clean nice light to look at when driving.

    Hey Steve,
Looking at upgrading my headlights just like you did, just would like to know how they are going 10 months down the track and are they the 5000 or 6000 kelvin
    Regards Clint

      Hey buddy.
Yeah all is well with the headlights. No fails. No dramas. Just doing what they are meant to be doing. I definitely cants complain.
If I remember correctly they are they 6000k. I prefer the whiter light.

I have. In victors unless they have been fitted from factory it’s not legal to change from halogen to LED.

G'day Steve. Adventure kings have just released a new lighting product that claims to throw 1200m of light at 1lux but I call bullshit. could you do a test on them in the future to hopefully debunk their claims?

Interesting review, do some more research on the colour spectrum, white light is known to facilitate fatigue on long night time journeys.
Don't get me wrong I like white lights they're great off road but heck the glare off everything slightly shiny is horrendous.
There's a company in SA that conduct a huge amount of research into lighting and colour spectrums for driving, www.fyrlyt.com
Read their info and study blogs. I've gone back to a hybrid of led light Bar, hallogen spots and hallogen high/low beams, the difference is I'm far less fatigued after a 6 hour night drive to Kal than before.

I've installed 2 pairs in Nisaan D40's and you can sure hear them when the engine is running. And really hear them when the engine is stopped.
When driving and in the cabin you can not hear them
